I saw another video trying to learn this and gee I thought what the actual hell.... Your method is so simple and effective. Thanks a million. As a beginner, you've made my craft a lot less difficult today. Thanks so much.
Thanks for sharing this. I've ordered some satin cord to make bracelets for some kids. I knew it was simple because my daughter used to make them when she was still living at home but I've never made any. Your demo is helpful.👍 Thanks again!😊
thank you so much for this!! I recently bought a bracelet like this in vietnam but the knots came out and I had no idea how to put it back so I’ve been finding a tutorial on how to do this, so thanks a lot!!
Do you have a video showing how to add a few beads to the bracelet and the placement of them, sorry I am new and don't understand. Also where to place the bead on the string so it is centered?
Is this the bracelet with one sliding knot? If so - only one knot slides along the other cord. If it’s the design with two knots, they both should slide if you swapped onto the opposite side to do the second knot. What type of cord are you using? This technique works best with a firmer type cord so that could also stop it from sliding if you are using wool/yarn or something similar. Good luck!
Yes, should work ok if you hold the end of the square knot part up close (under your left index finger) to where you wrap the cords around. Then gently pull the knot down tight into the right position. Good luck! 🌻
Hmmm... I'm wondering... is one of the knots tighter than the other? I've never made these bracelets before but I've ordered some satin cord to make some for some kids. I guess I'll pay attention to see if I have the same knotty problem when I do make them.
It’s just personal preference what you like, some like the single knot but then you have the ends hanging off. Some like the double knot with no ends but it’s harder to undo/tighten. Have fun 💫
@knotqueen Yes, exactly. I really like the second option, but if I sell them, I worry people won't know how to adjust them, because I can't do it myself lol. Thanks.

Awesome! I had to use a straw because my fingers are fat. :)
I like the two sliding knots version because it looks neater
I think so too! Thanks for watching 🌻
I like it too, but find it hard to adjust once it's on your wrist.

Only one side is moving can you help with this? I have watched your video so many times and can’t get both sides to move 😩

Very neat....
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 🌻💫
can i do the end of the bracelet (sliding part) if i made a square knot bracelet?
Yes, should work ok if you hold the end of the square knot part up close (under your left index finger) to where you wrap the cords around. Then gently pull the knot down tight into the right position. Good luck! 🌻
does this work for leather? if yes suggestions on diameter? I think mine is too thick keeps coming untied but your video is so helpful!
It should do, I have made these with a 2mm round leather before 🌻💫
Hmm do you know why only one side would slide? :/
I wondered the same. Why does only 1 move.
Yeah I have that issue but it’s not a big deal imo

Because the other side is the knot.
The single knot has one side that slides and the double knot has both sides that slide.
thank you so much. so helpful. ; )
Glad you enjoyed it 🌻
thank you for this well explained quide, it helped me a lot
Excellent! So glad my video is helpful 🌻💫

Glad it was helpful 🌻✨
Thank you ❤
Thank you! I finally made a bracelet!
Woohooo! Glad it was helpful 🥳
if you have a shorter braclet all you need to do is loop it around your finger till its tight
How do I make the one knot end up in the center?
Do these knots work on leather cord also?
Yes! I have 2mm round leather cord and use it with these knots 🌻✨
Is one type better than the other, i cant find the answer.
