This is one of THE BEST videos I've seen for this bracelet!! I love how you repeated the steps a couple times so we could make sure we did it right. I watched a few other videos on the same bracelet before this one, and I kept messing up and having to restart because they were going too fast. I'll definitely use more of your tutorials in the future!!
I have found these knots have allowed me to create designs even with my disability. Gave me back my self esteem..making my disability not make me feel so disabled.
You have no idea how many videos I’ve watched in these adjustable bracelets! I was never able to successfully make one! Thank you sooo much for 1) talking us through the instructions and not just silently showing us! and 2) going slow and starting over multiple times to make sure we see each step exactly! I did it! I got a bracelet knotted! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Thank you!!!
FINALLY! You know I've been trying to make these type of knots for years and usually after about an hour of fiddling around I get it but after watching your video I finally get what I'm supposed to do and it took me like 30 seconds to fix my necklace. THANK YOU!!!!!!
I've watched numerous videos over the last week on sliding knots, I could get the first one perfect, but not the second (insert pun here 😆). But with this method, I managed to get both knots done within 5 mins. So thank you for explaining it in a way that didn't sh!t me to tears.
I was using leather and it came out great. Your instructions are 5*. I played and it worked each time. I just remember 'coming at ya', so I cheat so its always coming at me. Simple, slow, clear, no fuss or distractions (I thought the phone was music background so very pleased I could just concentrate on what you were saying and watch your hands-thanks for the focus adjustment). BRILLIANT demo but EXCELLENT style as I retained the info. Thank you.!
watched so many of these sliding knot tutorials and this is the best and easiest one to follow. came out with the best looking and smoothest sliding knot too! THANK YOU
Thank you for this tutorial. It was easy to follow and you explained it well. I’ve been looking for a good knot for a very simple nylon cord necklace with an urn charm for a few weeks and all of the other tutorials have been awful. I am left handed but mostly ambidextrous when it comes to arts and crafts but they were still hard to follow because they were made for people who were only right handed. You made it easy to follow because you flipped the bracelet and worked from the same side for both knots. 🙂
THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting instructions for a sliding bracelet that actually make sense! I've looked allover the web, RUclips & Pinterest but your directions are the only ones I could clearly see & understand! Made my first adjustable sliding knot bracelet successfully! Thx so much!
This is a easy to follow video! Good speed and not to chatty on the intro! Doesn't go to fast and I'm not frustrated with something I might have missed! This goes for most of his videos I watched! Kudos
I visited this video a year ago and I’m using it again for a necklace for my whistle for lifeguarding and so just wanted to thank you again for having a really simple and easy to follow video!!
I was trying to make one of these for my son's birthday/trip to the beach. I tried two other tutorials before I found this one. LOVE IT!!! Thank you so much ~ Marge
After melting the ends I use a piece of sandpaper to texture the end , then I take a colored sharpie and color in the white inner cord. It makes it blend in. You can use it in your videos if you like . Thanks for the great tutorials !
This is an excellent tutorial, so well explained!! I love the way you backed up two or three times and repeated the process again! This is one of the best!! I have watched so many that only go thru once and done. Thank you so much, I'm getting ready to make a leather necklace w pendant using this knot!! Woo hoooo!!! I'm so happy!!
dude thank you for this knot. been working on bungee cord to make shark teeth necklaces and all other knots just came out as junk. appreciate your professionalism and replays
This was a super helpful tutorial! I've been wearing my favorite pride bracelet nonstop this month, and the leather snapped on me. I picked up some waxed cotton cording (since hopefully that'll be a little tougher and waterproof), re-beaded it, and found this tutorial to help me tie the knots. It turned out perfectly, despite my complete lack of creative/crafting abilities. Thank you so much for this!
I absolutely cannot thank you enough!! Watched so many vids and other step by step instruction images and for the love of God I just didn't get it UNTIL I watched you!!! So happy 😊 XX
Your tutorial was really useful. You are very good at explaining and demonstrating. After watching many tutorials on that knot, only yours made sense, at least to me. Thank you
Love your video. Your video was way easier to follow and understand compared to others. And your voice is very calming while I fight with this knot. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
aka... double fisherman's knot. Love your videos. i made my first bracelet yesterday. i made the firefighter bracelet. i thought it might had been too much to try for my first time but it was easy after watching your video. thanks
Thanks! I used this video to make camouflage bracelets for my son's army themed birthday party. They came out great and I had never made bracelets before. I love your channel!
Thank you so much. I searched really long for a simple bracelet like this, because I wanted to do one for mother and child. Funny enough, there are nearly solely instructions for super big knodded paracord bracelets. So thank you again for this simple one ; ).
This is a great tutorial. I was looking for this knot to make the “ties” for my cords on my leather face masks. That way you can set how tight it is and that way you don’t constantly have the elastic pulling on your ears. Thank you for your video.
You do a really nice presentation talk and are careful to be sure we see. I really enjoy watching your channel. I have made several bracelet ones but am by no means an expert. I have problems with vision and counting and have been trying to create a bracelet abacus to help me keep count of my laps when running or swimming. I have done a bit of beading so I have a variety of sizes and media (i.e. glass, wood, ceramic, lined) Would you be able to create a bracelet abacus that I can use. I would soooo appreciate it. Thanks, Jean
Thanks so much! Finally I actually got it :-) With the other videos I almost gave up, so glad I found this one. I managed to repair my favorite friendship bracelet, can't thank you enough!!!
thank you for this video! So helpful! I ordered the wrong cord, same thickness you used in the video and wanted a way to use it. Going to make some holiday bracelets as freebies for my orders!
Thank you! I have a charm to give a friend for her birthday and this enabled me to string it on a parachord bracelet! I appreciate your succinct lesson!
About time! He really makes it so that well at least I was like oh man I’m so dense! I was making it way to hard! I’m glad I found this video that simplified it and so I knew it was supposed to be easy!
Yes you have explained so well and accurately I will make a few friendship bands for my lived ones and use your style please do post more of your work! Good luck
Thank you! The mosgt easiest and clear video I have ever seen make, good job! I think I can make one. Been wanting to learn this for ages, yes. Thanks and keep up your videos, love them!
This drove me nuts.. Your video and explanation walking through it was perfect but I still struggled to get the right distance because my wrists are thin it kept ending up double strand majority of the way.
+Lillian Russo I now tried different methods and came to the conclusion, that even a torchlighter can turn it black when you use it for too long. The normal melting is 100% "blackening free", but if you keep heating the melted cord, it will bubble and start catching fire. This burning causes a blackening, if you don't blow it out immediately.
+Clare Roth Yes you can do this :) I sometimes also use a regular lighter when my torchlighter is out of reach. It is better to take a lighter where you can produce a most large flame. When the lighter turns empty and the flame gets smaller and smaller, it gets harder to not touch the yellow part of the flame. That's why I prefer a torchlighter.
honestly the best tutorial on this type of bracelet on others I couldn’t do it was so confusing and now because of this one it’s like how did I not know before. Once you learn it, it’s so easy and addictive I just wanna keep making them lol. Also is paracord the best or is there better materials for this type of bracelet pls let me know tysm.

This is the BEST and simplest demonstration of the sliding knot that I have viewed! He shows slowly and in detail how to make this knot. Thank you!

Best and easiest tutorial on youtube. I was able to make these for our litter of puppies so we could identify them.
What length for the pups and where you get the multi color.
F U its not easy smd
@@godlike2k940 it’s not too hard, but I’ll admit, the first time I tried it was. Just keep trying, pretty soon you’ll master it ツ
Cute
Thank you
I have found these knots have allowed me to create designs even with my disability. Gave me back my self esteem..making my disability not make me feel so disabled.
Elena Evans you are not disabled!!!! You are just differently abled!!! :)

Saw this video about 5 years ago, made two of them, and still wearing them non stop for 5 years. Once again, thanks for the video

Finally - someone who is easy to follow - repeats steps. Fixed my necklace on the first try after watching this. THANKS !
Thank you for these instructions. I had to make 22 bracelets for a trade show and your knotting technique really sped up the process.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting instructions for a sliding bracelet that actually make sense! I've looked allover the web, RUclips & Pinterest but your directions are the only ones I could clearly see & understand! Made my first adjustable sliding knot bracelet successfully! Thx so much!
Absolute best video tutorial on RUclips and I have looked at several. Wanted to make a bracelet with my grands and this video was perfect! Thank you!
This is a easy to follow video! Good speed and not to chatty on the intro! Doesn't go to fast and I'm not frustrated with something I might have missed! This goes for most of his videos I watched! Kudos
Finally I can see what and how your making this , slow and easy for those who never made this before. Simple is the best way. No bells and whistles.
I visited this video a year ago and I’m using it again for a necklace for my whistle for lifeguarding and so just wanted to thank you again for having a really simple and easy to follow video!!
thank you, I've been watching lots of vids and your is the one that slows it down and repeats close-up in detail - THANK YOU!
FINALLY! A tutorial that i can follow without a thousand rewinds!!! 🙌🏾

Thanks for the great tutorials! And thank you, Daniel, for the great tips 😊.
I usually meat the outer color over the strands on the inside
Best DIY tutorial I've seen! Thanks for your patience!👍

Fabulous thank you, 11 lab pups now have lovely new identity collars! Excellent and clear instructions 👍🏼

For some reason, this knot is difficult for me to make. BUT with patience, yours is the tutorial that I can follow! Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much. One of the knots on my bracelet came undone and this video helped me fix it 👍🏻
I watched 10 videos and this was by far the easiest. Easy to follow!! Thank you
I absolutely cannot thank you enough!! Watched so many vids and other step by step instruction images and for the love of God I just didn't get it UNTIL I watched you!!! So happy 😊 XX
These are also great for puppy ID collars if you're a breeder and you need to keep track of each individual puppy.
Best tutorial for the sliding knot for any bracelet. Tried to find a good one and this was easiest to understand. Thanks
Thanks! These are perfect, patient directions. The knot that won't come untied is wonderful!
I'm still making this, and it's just as pleasant as ever!
Excellent video. After watching several videos that left me ready to give up, I luckily found yours and am happily making sliding knots!
Your tutorial is great. Nice directives and easy to follow .Thank you for not having music in background and speaking clearly
Your tutorial was really useful. You are very good at explaining and demonstrating. After watching many tutorials on that knot, only yours made sense, at least to me. Thank you
This channel is my new guilty pleasure😂
Love your video. Your video was way easier to follow and understand compared to others. And your voice is very calming while I fight with this knot. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
As one of the mentioned ladies, I can say I love my purple sliding bracelet!! (And my fishtail!)
aka... double fisherman's knot. Love your videos. i made my first bracelet yesterday. i made the firefighter bracelet. i thought it might had been too much to try for my first time but it was easy after watching your video. thanks

This is really nice! I'm gonna try to put a rosary decade in the middle of this bracelet to see how it looks like.
So much fun making these bracelets, have them in many different colors and thicknesses now. Thank you for your clear video ... 😊😇👍
It works pretty well around a bottle neck. Pass the bottle neck in the sliding part, and push the knots towards the bottle. It fastens pretty well!
I followed your directions to a T, and my bracelet came out perfect! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I couldn't understand the handful of other videos I watched and you made it so easy!
Your shop is one of the best shops I've ever seen
I made it and placed a charm between the 2 knots ... It was EXCELLENT! Thank you very much!
You do a really nice presentation talk and are careful to be sure we see. I really enjoy watching your channel. I have made several bracelet ones but am by no means an expert. Thank you very much for posting this! The kids will each receive one on our next mission!
Thanks so much! Finally I actually got it :-) With the other videos I almost gave up, so glad I found this one. I managed to repair my favorite friendship bracelet, can't thank you enough!!!
This is the best video I’ve seen to do the knot bracelet, thanks man!
thank you for this video! So helpful! I ordered the wrong cord, same thickness you used in the video and wanted a way to use it. Going to make some holiday bracelets as freebies for my orders!
Thanks for talking me through and showing me how esay it is to do
The Very BEST tutorial ever on sliding knot. I was able to do this exactly as you did and was very very happy! Will certainly subscribe!
Love the demo. Played along and definitely going to make a bunch! Thanks for sharing your time and talent.
Thank you! I have a charm to give a friend for her birthday and this enabled me to string it on a parachord bracelet! I appreciate your succinct lesson!
Much easier that anything else I have watched! Thanks so much.
I used your knot for my daughter’s leather string necklace. So easy and helpful! Just what I needed. Thank you!
This is the best video for learning this technique! Very easy to follow and I can easily see what you are doing! Well done!
This is a fishermans knot used in climbing. They are used to make a prusik knot. One of the most useful for climbing.
This guy really explains the knots well.
True that
About time! He really makes it so that well at least I was like oh man I’m so dense! I was making it way to hard! I’m glad I found this video that simplified it and so I knew it was supposed to be easy!
i used maybe 1 ft 1/4 and it works fine, so you can go pretty short on the length
thank u so much its so nice when someone shows and explains something perfectly ✌️😊
Instead of burning the end, could you use a quick drying glue to stop it freying?
Thank you for your very descriptive video! I've just started making jewellery and I haven't come across a video as clear as yours! Cheers :D
fabulous instructions!!! Best ever. I have found this very tricky but
you have made it so easy. I appreciate it so much, very clever!!!
Very well done vid on sliding knots. Great verbal instruction and wonderful vid pictures.
By far the best! After soooo many tutorials! Phew! 😁👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
This is fantastic, was needing to learn these knots to make thick ID collars for my dogs and it worked really well. Thank you!!
Super easy and it worked with my leather cord!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking for, and it’s so simple!
That style been around along time. In the 60’s -70’s the Elephant Hair type were the hot item.
Yes you have explained so well and accurately I will make a few friendship bands for my lived ones and use your style please do post more of your work! Good luck

the best video to make sliding knots ever!
Great video. Simple. Well explained. Made a couple bracelets in five minutes following your videos. Thanks. Keep up the great work.
I wonder how this would look with beads?
Or if you could put on the solomon bar onto it.
Hi I made the sliding knot and it turned out really cool. Now I wear it every day😀
1:35 You couldn't have explained that any better with those finger motions
Amazing tutorial, very easy to fallow along to. Now I have an awesome paracord bracelet. 👍
Thankyou! I used this design to make an adjustable face mask cover.
Thank you! The mosgt easiest and clear video I have ever seen make, good job! I think I can make one. Been wanting to learn this for ages, yes. Thanks and keep up your videos, love them!
Thanks so much! Got a necklace in the mail that came untied. Exactly what I needed.
Used this to knot the string of my shorts. Thanks!
I like this video! And i inspired to make some video like this on my channel, let's check ruclips.net/video/sWa5FaCCqVA/видео.html
This drove me nuts.. Your video and explanation walking through it was perfect but I still struggled to get the right distance because my wrists are thin it kept ending up double strand majority of the way.
How long the cord should be for and adult and for a toddler, so the bracelet should come out well?
Thank you for sharing! Do you think this would work for a necklace as well?
Thanks - searched loads of videos to learn how to do this - best by far!
Absolutely love your tutorials, they are easy to understand and have great instruction, thanks
Great video....if you'd like to singe the ends without it turning black, use the blue part of the flame.
He has a torch lighter. It only produces a blue flame without yellow part
QA Purrsian Hmmmmm...I'm surprised it blackened with the blue flame. I use a blue flame on nylon cord and it stays clear when melted.
QA Purrsian I just tried it with my regular lighter, I singed the end with the blue part of the flame and it didn't turn black.
+Lillian Russo I now tried different methods and came to the conclusion, that even a torchlighter can turn it black when you use it for too long. This tutorial is really good! Clear Instructions, video closeups! Thks for sharing!
Watched 4 different videos on how to do this and this is the only one I could follow
honestly the best tutorial on this type of bracelet on others I couldn’t do it was so confusing and now because of this one it’s like how did I not know before.
Once you learn it, it’s so easy and addictive I just wanna keep making them lol.
Also is paracord the best or is there better materials for this type of bracelet pls let me know tysm.
