Thank you, you made that so much simpler to understand. Also, what I do, is I tie a small knot at the base of the barrel knot before clipping off the excess cord, that way the barrel knot does not come loose.

One tip...to keep the knots from opening...I cut them like you do but with enough room to glue a small bead onto them. This way you know they won't come undone. It also gives fingers something to grab onto when you want to make the necklace shorter.

Thank you for that prayer, it was for me for sure. I lost my mom who lived with me for over 25 yrs. My best friend, companion, prayer partner, and mentor. Then I lost my little dog after that my sister who had moved in after my mom died got cancer and she just died this month. I know I will see them again but my heart is still broken.

If anyone can help me with this problem, I would really appreciate it. I am making these type of bracelets to sell and I know how to make them, but I cannot figure out how to get them the correct size. Let's say for example I want the bracelet opening to adjust between the sizes of 6 inches to 10 inches. How do I make this possible. Am I suppose to place the knots a certain distance apart, am I suppose to have a certain amount of double cord between the knots? I just can't figure this out :( Exact measurements are important to me so I can be consistent in my size offerings on my website.
