Don’t apologize for the pauses. If we wanted to hear uninterrupted songs by Em we could just go to our music library. This is about your reaction, and your journey discovering this artist (and others) and that’s what we are here for. Your genuine reactions, thoughts, feelings, and insight… Keep doing you!
The only thing that bothers me with some reactors is when they pause at a horrible time, like in the middle of the bar RIGHT before the best line in the song, then they start the song without backing up at all and miss it completely.
@@gorbla1231 One reaction I was watching to “Killshot” a reactor paused at “80 year old me” line, talked a bit, didn’t rewind and missed the “20 year old you” which I personally thought was one of the coldest disses on the track. I think I said, out loud (in a room my by myself), “No, dude… you missed the missed the best line..” 😂 You are right though, very frustrating.
This man went from "I don't appreciate foul language in songs" to "oh thank god, we have the uncensored version" in like 1 month. LMAO. What a legend. He is able to see through the foul language and read between the lines -- the lines that helped millions out there :)
@@m.t.4648 right. each word should have a meaning and a purpose for being there, including swear words. that's what makes art truly great. of course that’s not gonna be the case for everything all the time but it doesn’t necessarily have to be
I met Eminem in 2005, I was 16 at the time and followed my brother and his friends to a concert in Detroit. I made sure not to freak out, mainly because I wanted to look cool in front of my brothers friends, but he was the absolute most calm person I’ve ever met. We were walking out of a hotel and he was going in, and I said “I don’t want to bother you, I just wanted to say hi!” And he gave his body guards a nod like “it’s ok” and he said “I appreciate that, but you’re not bothering me” and he talked to us all for a few mins. We got a terrible picture on an old disposable camera and I got his autograph on his ticket stub. As of that day he could do no wrong in my eyes.
Normally hero’s don’t Live up to the standard when you meet them but what I heard about him he would seem calm and considerate, especially since you were. Plus 2005 was at the height of him wilding out
BEAUTIFUL FACT: This was on his Relapse album. The first album he released after the OD and after getting clean. Of that album, this was the only song he wrote while still in rehab. The rest of the album was produced after he got clean.
yea you can really tell this song is very silmilar to his older stuff, while the rest of relapse hes got a new style from forgetting how to rap.. then he comes back with recovery where he finally mastered rapping again.
That's not even an exaggeration. It takes months and years to develop an ear for Eminem's entendres, because he uses history, pop culture, poetry, literary works (novels, dramas, playwrites), grammar, politics, a lot of references from different walks of life, different fields, etc. in his raps. Of course if you just look up what his lyrics mean, or have it explained to you, you'll understand it instantly (ah, that's what he's doing here). But to be able to catch the entendres on first, second, or third listen if you don't have the ear for it yet is just impossible. Eminem has a good "general knowledge", and he expects his listeners to have it as well, or they won't catch his bars. So just take it slow. Don't worry. :)
@@Hans777 hes not as appreciated as he could be as he is remembered for the 'memey' songs like without me or we made you, but people forget that his skill really shows through in song like this, way i am, cleaning out my closet, or no apologies. he should try to make more new hard hitting tracks to show this whole new generation who he really is
First heard Em when I was 10 years old, I’ll be 30 this year. In that time he has pulled me out of the darkest of places and I’ll forever cherish this man for what he has done for me! When he’s gone real tears will be shed.
Same here. Turned 30 this year. Grew up 20 miles away from Ems home place. Earliest recollection of hearing him was 6 years old. Never stopped listening since. Unbelievable he’s now 50 and still putting music out.
You have officially gotten to understand this man and his sense of humor and it is so great to see. If Eminem was not a rapper he could have been a comedian. Don't apologize for your rants when you pick stuff up. This is exactly what it means to react to marshall and understand him. We love it. Rant and go on side tangents. It is all beautiful.
There is quite a sad story behind Em always having a serious face. When he was younger his mother (suprise suprise), told him that he always looked goofy when he smiled. It has since effected him on a deep level, he has stated that he hates his smile, and tries his hardest not to laugh on camera. I'm not going to recommend any songs, as you probably already have a list as long as your arm 😂 ✌️
Yeah, I’ve also heard this too! It’s heart breaking and you never see him smile or laugh in any ‘official’ press, interviews or photos. Even in the longer interviews he’s done over the past few years with Sway or Crook, he’s doesn’t laugh, and those are guys he knows on a personal level. It’s such a shame because you can tell from his writing and what his close friends have said about him, that he’s really funny, probs quite goofy and really knows how to laugh at himself too! (The Homicide track with Logic and how he dealt with Chris De’lia’s impression of him is defo proof of that, lol!). That’s why one of my absolute favourite interviews was when him and Royce did a promo ‘interview’ for Bad Meets Evil. It was done as if someone had ‘let’ them onto the internet to do a live stream on their own for 20 mins and it was carnage!!! Em was holding up various signs saying he’d been ‘kidnapped’ and to ‘send help’. Even though it’s probs 7 or 8 years old now, it still makes me smile! Im sure you’ll have seen it, but just in case I’ll come back and edit a link into my comment! Edit: link below ruclips.net/video/RXGi-p2M4WQ/видео.html
I'm 49 years old and have listened to eminem since he first came out and I still catch bars today from songs I've heard a thousand times. He's truly amazing and a blessing.
I've been listening to Em for about 17 years myself. I get what you mean, it's crazy. I also think as we change as we go through life, it in turn breathes new meaning into old lyrics
Ha ha, I’m exactly the same at 46! I literally just said the very same thing to my husband this morning - and sometimes it’s the simpler ones I’m late catching! I was listening to ‘lucky you’ this morning and only just got ‘ I wrote til the wheels fall off, I’m working tirelessly ay’ - I got the ‘working tirelessly’ as in, working really hard and also got the nod to Kendrick, but only just connected the I wrote (rode) wheels/tyres wordplay ! Lol! And it’s probably one of the easiest doubles/triples in the whole track lol!!!
Marshall was the first person to tell me I'm beautiful through this song. He's not the last thankfully. I havnt let my abusive parents stop me. I have a beautiful fiance and 5 year old son who love me. ❤
"You can't take anything for granted with Eminem. Everything has a purpose, everything has a place" Who else do people talk like this about? That's right - God.
The "building" that's being torn down is the old Tigers stadium in Detroit where Eminem grew up. And in the beginning he was walking through the old abandoned train station in Detroit also.
Am I the only Stan here that just loves when someone listens to us and finally starts listening to em? I literally sit here when I see that someone new has discovered him and watch every video. It brings me joy to see others begin to understand what I have most of my life. Eminem literally saved my life so many times…. Just listening and knowing I wasn’t alone. Literally through the death of my big brother, to addiction to an abusive relationship then through my recover and finding myself. All along his music was there on my bad days, good days, I can’t go on days and my grateful days. He’s amazing
Em’s singing. Having grown up in Detroit with the majority of my fam still there this song hits on another level bc it’s a double for what happened to our city. That’s the original Tiger Stadium being turn down. The visual is all the manufacturing bldgs being turn down or abandoned in the city. After Em OD’d he had to completely relearn how to rap which is why he almost gave up. Think your ready for Evil Twin from MMLP2 now. Don’t apologize for talking, we’re here to hear you. If you just want the song go to Spotify. You’re 🔥🔥
Facts Kim, I almost cried when they tore down Tigers Stadium. There is so much of our city we have lost for no reason other than neglect it truly is sad. The rebirth has been beautiful but there is still so much work left to do.
The shooting locations here are so important. The Packard Plant and the Detroit Train Station, once icons in the city, have been abandoned and are crumbling to pieces. Luckily the Train station is being renovated and saved, but the scenery is mirroring his lyrics and place in his life.
I'm basically the biggest Em-fan you could ever find, I grew up with his music which helped me a lot. A LOT! But after checking what songs you have been listening to it's basically a chunk of my playlist called "Rock Bottom", so I'm sending a few titles you should REALLY listen to (tell me if you want the links to the songs then just reply. List is following: Hush - No Tomorrow (sampled Mad World) Eminem - Legacy Eminem - Rock Bottom Eminem - Deja Vu Eminem - Going Through Changes Eminem - Not Afraid Eminem - Walk On Water Eminem - In Your Head Eminem - Guts Over Fear Eminem - Sing For The Moment Eminem - Lose Yourself Eminem - Rabbit Run Bad Meets Evil - Lighters D12 - Revelation Eminem - 97' Bonnie N Clyde Eminem - If I Had Eminem - The Way I Am
Without spoiling anything, I think based on what you said in this video you'd really enjoy Never Love Again by Eminem. Hope to see you check it out! Really enjoying your Em reactions. Please keep it up!
Here's the most accurate link I could find: ruclips.net/video/qwDI3Ux6Dk8/видео.html Just don't glance at the comments on it! Also, it's a lyric video which I know you're trying to avoid if possible but unfortunately there's so many great songs of his that don't have music videos, and you can't miss out on the brilliant writing in this song. It is uncensored at least lol Hoping to see you react to it!
Iv been listening to em since I was 12. I’m 34 now, and I can tell you he has helped me through some terrible parts of my life. I don’t know how many nights I sit in my room crying my eyes out listening to the same songs on repeat.
Hearing you, who used to dislike rap, say that he is a new picasso is amazing! I listen to all kinds of music, but also think in terms of artistry he must be somewhere there on the top.
I'll say it again - witnessing you discover Em is a pleasure & an honour. I can't explain it, but it's so gratifying to hear & see you unravel & appreciate the genius of Em. It's one of the highlights of my week watching your reactions. Thanks ❤
Your Eminem reactions are among my favorites, but it's such a joy looking at people experiencing music you love for the first time. I love how you stop and reflect throughout the song.
The guy singing is Paul Rodgers from a sample of Reaching out by Queen. It’s a pretty generous sample throughout the song. He did the same thing in a later song on the Marshall Mathers LP 2 with Joe Walsh’s song Life’s Been Good. EMINEM is actually the one that made his friend Royce realize he had a problem with alcohol and got him into therapy and helped him get over his addiction.
I mean Em didn't "make him realize" he had a problem. Royce knew he had a problem, he called Em when he decided he wanted to get Sober. But Em definitely helped him.
@@xtravagentk1275 Royce himself stated that EM said “You have a problem and when you want to get help, I’m here.” Royce said he dismissed it at first, but then it hit him that he really does have a problem.
I have to say for someone that is not in tune with hip hop you do such a wonderful job understanding the meanings of these songs, it's actually pretty incredible. I watch other reaction channels that are all about hip Hop and they just don't get it. You keep doing m&m reactions in your channel is going to explode, congrats on the great content man I love it. You may not get many requests for these songs but you should give talking to myself & going through changes a chance for a couple reaction videos. Both of these songs were on Eminem's recovery album. After the depths of his drug addiction & death of his best friend proof, Em went MIA for a few years and then out of nowhere released the recovery album. These songs are incredible, they're full of depth and symbolize the hole he had to come out of to be a good dad, recovering addict and reestablish himself as a great artist. I think you and your audience would truly enjoy. Thank you so much for the Eminem videos I look forward to more
Hi sir, I have been a huge em fan since my mid school days, his songs were the strength i needed to go through the bullying i was going through. Seeing your reaction to the artist i love and the songs i love is such a pleasure. I've explored youre channel today itself and ive been bingeing your em videos, apart from the songs and the views on song, you telling stories about your own life is such a refreshing thing to watch. You do you sir! Great content! You've got a new subscriber! And honestly while i was going through your uploads, there are several artists i havent listened to, now i'll be exploring them through your videos with you. Cheers 🍻
The person singing is Paul Rodgers. He covered a song called Reaching Out which was originally by Rock Therapy and made the song with Queen and Eminem sampled it.
Its so cool to see how you already realize that everything Em does on a track & his placement of words has a specific reason. .it's been great watching you go thru this journey. I'm 45 now, & I've tried to get a couple if my my older uncles to see the genuis behind his artwork, to no avail. Lol. So I'll adopt you as 1 of my cool uncles. Wish you nothing but continued success and enjoy the ride.
I know I sound like a broken record, but my generation is so fortunate to come up to Eminem. He really is a Rembrandt, but he’s also a Rockefeller, and a Rudy (from Norte Dame lol): He’s a brilliant businessman, and dude’s got heart! He rewrote Hip Hop into what it is today. He’s a real inspiration, straight up bulldog on a bone.
You have no idea how much I appreciate people like you for giving Eminem a listen. Most people of your generation would be too distracted by all the bad news the media spread about him. So seeing you being able to understand and enjoy his music and songwriting as much as you do, warms my heart!
You should hear at this point what is considered not only one of Eminem's best songs, but one of the best Hip Hop songs ever, Lose Yourself (he even won the Oscar and to understand it first you should see the 8 mile movie. )
I love how you react to videos. I've seen a couple of your reaction videos and I absolutely enjoy the emotions you convey just listening to music. Thank you so much!
He is a one in a lifetime artist. Many people dont admit it and unfortunately only when he dies all will realize what they were missing. Lets give him the flowers he deserves while he is still among us🙏
This is like the nicest youtube community. Keep doing your thing man. It's awesome to see someone open to expanding his mind and trying new things. Em is an artist like no other, and a lot of people don't give him a decent chance because of their prejudices. Anyone that thinks of Em as a gangsta rapper never really listened. He's so layered, so intense and just a pure magician with words. The man is like a dictionary that rhymes and makes sense.
Don't apologize ever. You are joyous to watch and I ADORE your genuineness. It's refreshing to see. We watch reactions to see someone else feel the joy WE felt on our listening journey...be it Em, Tool, NIN, everything. It's really fun to watch and I'm glad I stumbled across you. I grew up with Em, and it's so fun to see others discover his lyricism. ❤ On a different point... have you possibly lost someone close to you recently? You occasionally have an orb around you. I feel like it's someone watching over you. I caught it twice in this video. You don't have to say... I'm just curious. They're perfectly round little balls of light that are almost circling you. One happened RIGHT before you got chills. It passed behind you, and you got chills. Just seems protective and comforting, and is pretty rare to see. Just an observation ❤
In the Chorus "But dont let them say you aint beautiful" Eminem is singing to the City of Detroit (His home town). this is why the visuals are of detroit being torn down. Hes relating how triumphant his city used to be when vehicle manufacturing was still in the city. now the jobs have all left and the city fell into poverty. Hes relating the fall of his hometown to his fall into addiction, and being pulled out of it.
Great video. People/kids nowadays didn't get to experience the old eminem. When he took over. He was the first outlet for middle American white kids. Someone they could actually relate to. And man it was one of those things that you just had to be there to appreciate it. It was amazing. I still think about those days of getting home from a bad day and just putting my headphones on and vibing to him. Connecting and understanding every single thing he was saying.
I dont get to talk about Eminem often bc im the only I know who loves him so much but ive been listening to him since I was about 4/5 years old which sounds wild I know but it was actually my sister on my dads side who got me into him-when I was little and i couldnt sleep id wander into her room saying such and she would tuck me into her bed and put on (censored lol) The Eminem Show for me to sleep to. And it worked! And I loved his songs since then, even if I didnt really grasp the meanings at that age, but im turning 25 soon, so 20 years ive been a fan of his, and he was there for every part of my life. Open heart surgery at 4, stent placements and depression, figuring out stuff about my life and struggles I go through and while I love my parents, Eminem really raised me where it mattered mentally/emotionally bc i never went to family/friends when i struggled. Ive always been closed off and private so being able to just pick a song that echoed what i went through from one man made a difference. Like I hate being angry and I refuse to take it out on people but ill rap out loud yelling to The Way I Am as a release lol. It makes me happy to see other people love and appreciate him as much as I do
Eminem helped me get through school and depression and this was the main song that helped me. Its also amazing to see you understand his jokes and what he’s saying, I’ve tried showing some of his stuff to my parents and they just don’t get it… ( we are all Christians and conservative but they’re a little more close minded to rap) Also it’s funny you mentioned recovery…. Because recovery is the name of one of his best albums after he got sober, he’s now been sober about 12 years. Also the singing is a sample from a Queen and Paul rodgers song called reaching out
I watch you for the genuine reactions, no need to apologize for your input. Keep it up, you understanding and appreciation for hip hop are always a pleasure to watch
Hi Chris as another "oldie" person, I am enjoying this journey with you. Unlike you, I have listened to Em and do enjoy his music as I think he is a great story teller and lyricist. I listened to a RUclips interview with him which was pretty much all about Hallie and I found it interesting and thought I would share with you in regards to the "hard language", Em did not use it around his children nor were they allowed to use it either. He stated that the language is part of "his job", it needs to be used to go along with the flow of the music/rap. I thought you would enjoy knowing that, and make you love him even more
Eminem’s most emotional song is “difficult” - Written during his darkest days after proof died & during the height of his addiction. Never officially released and doesn’t even have a chorus but sounds haunting without one. It’s on RUclips if you want to check it out
I grew up in a very religious house. Was never a load listening to em. Got grounded for having his cd's. But he truly helped me get through my childhood! Love him for that.
Thats probably why the Em's humour hits me so hard because people usually say that about us finns that we dont express emotions, just one face for happiness, sadness etc. and even when you got it the worst the humour can get you out, maybe not a smile but need to have it, and he be like that, thanks again for this reaction, its so refreshing to see people reacting from outside of hiphop scene and learning and growing with this. BTW more pauses please :D
You've started down a loooong road here. I'm here for it, hard to find someone just discovering em now.. got me as a sub. Now need popcorn and watch you spend the next year catching up lol
You honestly make my day better! I can't help but have a huge smile on my face. From someone who adores Em and has been a Stan for over 12 years, seeing you discover him and falling in love with his music, appreciating his craft and putting him next to Mona Lisa, it means a lot! Seriously it brings tears in my eyes. ❤️
Hey Chris...so I've watched you review this a few times, and one thing that you realized so early on too, was that Em doesn't waste any words...he can write about five things at once and make them sound like they're a song about one thing.."his doubles, triples, word plays, etc...Soooo the first thing I noticed about the video from Beautiful was his acknowledgement of Detroit's great past...it was a Beautiful thing, and created beautiful things...People who love Eminem know how much he LOVES DETROIT...He's never left...so throughout the video he's walking through a broken down Detroit, with downtrodden folks...and in a way it really feels like he's talking to the home city he grew up in..The city with the Beautiful past, which is now a much less beautiful version than it was back in the day, he mentions in the beginning...He's telling people of a story of his life, their lives, and perhaps the story of the home he still loves..which he is actually helping to put back on the map, interestingly enough...Keep it up...you finding Em is BEAUTIFUL!
Didn’t know I would get this today! The RUclips gods have smiled on me lol! This is my favorite em song maybe besides Superman bc I love the Shock factor of it, I’m so happy to have found you and that you are doing my favorite song tonight and that YOU FOUND EMINEM!!!
I remember listening to this song repeatedly 10 20 times daily when I was going through really hard times last year... this is what made me to love him. Thank you so much for reacting these gems man... as English is not my mother tongue, I learn so many things form your reactions.❤❤😇
Thanks for mentioning me in video. I'm very happy that I could share this epic song with you. By the way, you should also check "Going through changes" by Em. Keep doing what you doing and just be yourself. Greetings from Poland 🙂
The building being torn down is Tigers Stadium and this whole video has imagery of Detroit and how it’s seen better days…back in the day it was a great manufacturing city…and the old days are over and it’s run down… but it’s still filled with culture and beauty. It gets rough sometimes but I love being from Detroit! I feel it’s a city that builds character and chicks dig scars…so here’s to the city of Detroit…Thanks for all you’ve given us!
This was my first time hearing this song as well. My adoration for Em constantly grows as your knowledge of his journey grows. As Dre put it in his induction to the rock and roll of fame: "His skill is undeniable "!!
Dude, you have been killing it on the reactions lately!!!! Usually this song is way later in peoples em journey!! This is personally in my top 3 em songs ever!
The line that ALWAYS breaks me in this song is right after saying he's losing his sense of humor, then immediately after showing it's still there (as you noticed), then the lyric: "I just hide behind the tears of a clown."😭😭😭 That segment represents my personal struggle with depression. I've ALWAYS been witty, funny and pretty outgoing...and the hardest part for me was noone ever knew my personal struggle because without even trying I'm naturally excellent at hiding it even when I wanted to scream out or breakdown. That paired with his vocals in this track. It's not like he's just faking sadness. Like in other songs, he said impactful and emotionally devastating things...but in this song only it feels like there's actually zero left in him. He was clearly drained of all zest for life😔
Nick you are still witty, funny, outgoing and yes you may hide it well so no one on outside sees it.... 2 people close to me gave their lives through depression 😔 I never knew a thing. Be strong my bro and talk to ppl you trust..Good luck
Em is a master wordsmith who can tug at heartstrings in a single sentence... but nick you should not dwell on it so much it will only enhance ones demons...
Hello... My name is Sid Ahmed Amin, I am a new follower of your channel, from the far south of Algeria 🇩🇿, from a desert area. I am a huge fan of eminem and his masterpieces of lyrics and songs. Although there is a language barrier between me and the concepts that eminem might mean, most of the ideas he presents arrive as soon as I listen to him and the way he uses to express... Most of the time I can understand what he means just by listening to his way of narrating the subject without the need for translation or even to search for meaning. ... Just thoughts from the heart to the heart ... This is the Eminem music ... It does not differentiate between gender or boundaries ... What makes me happy is the degree of your happiness in entering and discovering a world that is considered new to you. . From the far south of Algeria 🇩🇿, i thank you for these videos and reactions... There are several songs that I hope you will work on... maybe I'll suggest to you some of them in the near future... Well, sorry for my bad English... hope you read my comment and understand the meaning. Peace, love, strength and honor ✌❤
@@larryshair you're welcome Sir 🎩 My name is a combination of three names, the first part is "Sid Ahmed" wish mean "Sir Ahmed" and can't be separated because the meaning, the second name it is often used by people to call me is "Amine" , wish mean "the honest" and can used like "amen" or "hymn" from prayers.. But I usually us it like : "AMINEM" as e-mail and social network pseudo... Sorry for all this confusion lol... I'm just honered by your reply to my comment 🎩☺😊. Thank you a lot Sir... you made my day ☺😊🎩
I love watching your reactions to Em. He's incredible. If you're wanting to delve into double and triple meanings of his lines, there is a RUclipsr named Knox Hill who does lyric breakdowns. His Eminem ones are amazing. You should definitely watch the ones he's done for the sings you've covered already. ruclips.net/user/KnoxHill
The other guys you see are extras...guys that were working in the area. They are filming in the old train station downtown Detroit! Been closed for quite a while. He has overcome so many things!!! He shows everyone that no matter what you've been through...you can pick yourself up!!! I cried when they were tearing down Tiger Stadium! His love for the city of Detroit shows in this video! His guy Proof had a great love & respect for Detroit! He passed that love on to Eminem! I've always seen this song as a double between himself & the city he loves so much! I think because he moved around so much as a kid....being here is home for him! He's a creature of habit and he feels comfortable here! Also, I think it's a bit easier for him to fly under the radar here! We don't have the press lurking all over the place here! Paul Rodgers is the singer on this track. It's from a song called Reaching Out! I'm with you! Standing Ovation!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Greatest Poet of our time!!!!
I am thrilled you are discovering what we’ve always known about Eminem, I’m 51 btw so I have enjoyed his genius for years lol, PLEASE react to his early work. “My Name Is”, “Without Me” He came on the scene and literally changed the game, enjoy! And thank you for your channel, love it!
Hey man, you're doing great. Everyone calling you out on not catching every double entendre has listened probably a thousand times, guaranteed they didn't catch everything on their first listen, in fact it would be an insult to em's music to say you caught it all on the first go. Respect and can't wait for more reactions
2 years late to this video but this was one of the most influential songs of my childhood. I remember spending HOURS in my grandparents' basement back in elementary school just bingeing eminem videos because they blew my mind. Glad I could relive those days through your videos man! Wishing you nothing but success!
Greetings from Argentina man, great reaction to this beautiful and powerful song. I would love your reaction to "Lose Yourself", it is something different from what you have been reacting to Em but it maintains the essence of fighting in this life. Because this song is about life and pure rap, how a white boy fights against the discrimination of his skin because rap is or was a purely African-American culture. It is, so to speak, Eminem's introduction song since the entire planet knows it, whether you are a rap listener or not. In fact, he made this song for his movie "8 mile" from 2002, as well as "8 mile road", another song that I highly recommend. Not for nothing this man is not only the most successful rapper of all time, but one of the 20 best-selling musical artists in music history.
Creo que ya escucho Lose Yourself......en sus primeras reacciones dijo las canciones que habia escuchado de Eminem y estoy segura que nombro Lose Yourself......
Love your channel man! I’ve been a die hard stan since I was 6… I’m 26 now - love Em. The best part about your channel is the fact I have found several songs I haven’t heard that are phenomenal. Keep it up!!
Yesterday I found your channel and I have been lost every since. I am an Eminem fan since the early days (I am 32 now). And I am so happy to hear that older people than I see his art and hear his messages. I am only fan of 1 artist and it´s Eminem. I listen to him daily, old and new songs.
It's amazing that you are loving em as much as we do right now, but i think you might change your mind if you listen to songs like stay wide awake, 3am, kim and songs where he shows the dark place his mind was at that moment. If you make it through those type of without having a bad perspective of his personality then that'll mean you are a real one
I think if he goes down the full journey of Ems career. He'll understand Em as a complete artist & modern day poet, who isn't afraid to try new things in order to expand his full abilities, he will be able to appreciate it.
Omg yes, you did Beautiful 😍 This song means so much to me. I even got a tattoo with lyrics out of that song. 'A picture of Em right next to Mona Lisa'... Oh wow I like that idea and I understand what you mean with that and you are right! ❤️ I wish you could remember the interview 😍 this sounds so good. I love seeing Eminem smile. The buildings are in Detroit, he is talking to his hometown in this song, too. Don't say sorry, for talking to much, we came here for saw your reactions!
If you like his double entendres, you should check out one of his newer songs: Alfred's Theme. That one song has more double entendres, metaphors, and similes in it than most other rappers will use in their entire career. I feel like I notice something new every time I listen to it. It's definitely different from his more serious songs that you've reacted to thus far, but I still think you'd enjoy it. Love your reactions, keep up the great work!
I was waiting for you to drop this one it is really beautiful i had a feeling you would love it, you're reactions are the best hope you feel good and your health is good my guy!
Robbie said it all in the comments. Great reactions. Great side notes. We’re here for all of it. It’s great to watch you get to know the man and witness your journey.
Love seeing someone else listen to these songs for the first time and get excited to hear them and talk about each one. One song I'd recommend for you is Space Bound from his Recovery album. Or if you are sticking to the Relapse album, Careful What You Wish For is another solid one. Love the videos!
Beautiful was one of the songs that comforted me and felt like a warm hug when I was at my lowest with my mental state. It will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always respect Eminem for his incredible lyricism.
To me this is honestly one of the best songs Eminem has ever wrote he said this was the first song he wrote after getting out of Rehab in 2007 I believe Crazy right also Please React to Eminem “Going Through Changes” Lyric Video & “Beautiful Pain” Ft. Sia Lyric Video I’m sure you would enjoy that also Em will never retire that won’t happen you have rockstars who are in there 70’s 90’s still doing music plus it’s impossible to retire from Music Hip Hop is Eminem he said without it in Survival that he’d lose his shit if he didn’t do it also Proof told him to never put the mic down EVER!👊🏽🐐🔥💯
I’m sorry Larry a few videos ago you wanted to hear how life turns out for myself and tonight I can’t say well, I got pulled over for a headlight that had recently gone out on my car and had a few to many drinks with my dinner and evening , and ended up in cuffs and sitting inside a cell for 3 hrs my first time ever in my life I don’t understand my down turns but you continuously help because it’s only 45 mins out and I’ve came to listen to you for a certainty of peace and understanding of the world through another persons eyes. Thank you.
Also I love watching this bc I didn’t know he wrote half of this in rehab! I love relapse as an album bc I’ve been through addiction and rehab. I didn’t see the AA rooms in When I’m Gone before watching your reactions! Thank you!
Was gonna write the same thing
The only thing that bothers me with some reactors is when they pause at a horrible time, like in the middle of the bar RIGHT before the best line in the song, then they start the song without backing up at all and miss it completely.
@@gorbla1231 Yeah I hate that too :D but it's all good if they go back a couple seconds
@@gorbla1231 One reaction I was watching to “Killshot” a reactor paused at “80 year old me” line, talked a bit, didn’t rewind and missed the “20 year old you” which I personally thought was one of the coldest disses on the track.
I think I said, out loud (in a room my by myself), “No, dude… you missed the missed the best line..” 😂
You are right though, very frustrating.
Facts. We've all heard these songs a million times already 🤣
This man went from "I don't appreciate foul language in songs" to "oh thank god, we have the uncensored version" in like 1 month. LMAO. What a legend. He is able to see through the foul language and read between the lines -- the lines that helped millions out there :)
lol
Imho.. sometimes raw things and rough emotions needs rough words to be expressed right.
That’s awesome Kat. Something you will cherish for the rest of your life!
Normally hero’s don’t Live up to the standard when you meet them but what I heard about him he would seem calm and considerate, especially since you were. Plus 2005 was at the height of him wilding out
That's awesome
I’ve never met em and I don’t think I ever will cause I’m in Africa .. must be nice
That's amazing
BEAUTIFUL FACT:
This was on his Relapse album. The first album he released after the OD and after getting clean. Of that album, this was the only song he wrote while still in rehab. The rest of the album was produced after he got clean.
He wrote the 3rd verse after he got sober, but the rest was pre that ❤️
yea you can really tell this song is very silmilar to his older stuff, while the rest of relapse hes got a new style from forgetting how to rap.. then he comes back with recovery where he finally mastered rapping again.
Maybe im wrong, but wasn't "careful what you wish for" written before his OD?
(sorry for my english😅)
@@gianfogtr3204no you’re not wrong it was supposed to be on the unreleased king Mathers album in 2007
It takes a PhD in Eminem to catch his doubles and triples. It's years of work, you're doing great!
He is a walking dictionary.
When english isn't your first language it's even harder but still worth it
@@Hans777 hes not as appreciated as he could be as he is remembered for the 'memey' songs like without me or we made you, but people forget that his skill really shows through in song like this, way i am, cleaning out my closet, or no apologies. he should try to make more new hard hitting tracks to show this whole new generation who he really is

First heard Em when I was 10 years old, I’ll be 30 this year. In that time he has pulled me out of the darkest of places and I’ll forever cherish this man for what he has done for me! When he’s gone real tears will be shed.
Fact.
I feel like he would have been a comic book writer since he likes comics alot and is a natural born writer
@@WolfTalkings True
@@WolfTalkings I believe he drew the art for himself in his and Kid Cudi's latest song.
@@queencerseilannister3519 I wouldn't be surprised. I feel if Em really wanted to, he could make a book now. Ahh, a man can dream though
lol

Never knew this tbf..
Explains a lot. Marshall was held back still rose to the absolute top..
I'm 49 years old and have listened to eminem since he first came out and I still catch bars today from songs I've heard a thousand times. He's truly amazing and a blessing.
Eminem and kanye west have been two of the greatest blessings in my life
I've been listening to Em for about 17 years myself. I get what you mean, it's crazy. I also think as we change as we go through life, it in turn breathes new meaning into old lyrics
Him and Wayne yep
Just want to say, wow you look like 30. Aged like wine
Love that!
I can relate,heartbreaking tbh... 🙄
That’s so sweet, I’m glad you’re doing better. ❤️❤️❤️
Going through changes is another great song that's criminally underrated imo. It's off the recovery album which was his next album after this one.
That was definitely one of my favorite songs off that album, and I really enjoyed that whole album.
Def one of my favs also talking to myself is pretty good
I agree, he definitely needs to do that one next. He will like that Ozzy is in it
Definitely one of my fav too
One of my favorite songs of all time period regardless of artist. Recovery was masterful
"You can't take anything for granted with Eminem. Everything has a purpose, everything has a place"
Who else do people talk like this about? That's right - God.
Fact!
“Leaving Heaven” is a great song about his father, give it a listen!
I think it's on the list. I've been recommending it too :)
I don't think it's a song for him......he has too much anger towards his father

The "building" that's being torn down is the old Tigers stadium in Detroit where Eminem grew up. And in the beginning he was walking through the old abandoned train station in Detroit also.
Next should really be Not Afraid!! Loving these reactions.
100%
ruclips.net/video/j5-yKhDd64s/видео.html there's the link
yep
The most important song in his library is not afraid
It’s been a ride..
You’re 🔥🔥
I like your style.
Facts Kim, I almost cried when they tore down Tigers Stadium. There is so much of our city we have lost for no reason other than neglect it truly is sad. The rebirth has been beautiful but there is still so much work left to do.
its whole double also talking to detroit about "dont let em say you aint beautiful" Detroit
Regarding when he asked "Who's singing", It's not Em singing.. It's Queen - Reaching Out Ft. Paul Rodgers.
He literally knew he was speaking to the world and told them they were beautiful even if it sounded corny! I love that man
The shooting locations here are so important.
List is following:
Hush - No Tomorrow (sampled Mad World)
Eminem - Legacy
Eminem - Rock Bottom
Eminem - Deja Vu
Eminem - Going Through Changes
Eminem - Not Afraid
Eminem - Walk On Water
Eminem - In Your Head
Eminem - Guts Over Fear
Eminem - Sing For The Moment
Eminem - Lose Yourself
Eminem - Rabbit Run
Bad Meets Evil - Lighters
D12 - Revelation
Eminem - 97' Bonnie N Clyde
Eminem - If I Had
Eminem - The Way I Am
He already reacted to Sing for the moment.
Thanks Shady for the list!

Unless you think he needs d12 exposure I'd add Stepping Stones to that list. Powerful stuff.
Without spoiling anything, I think based on what you said in this video you'd really enjoy Never Love Again by Eminem.
Hope to see you check it out!
Really enjoying your Em reactions. Please keep it up!

It is uncensored at least lol
Hoping to see you react to it!
Not sure if he is ready for that quite yet
i always come back to this song
Iv been listening to em since I was 12. I’m 34 now, and I can tell you he has helped me through some terrible parts of my life. I don’t know how many nights I sit in my room crying my eyes out listening to the same songs on repeat.
Hearing you, who used to dislike rap, say that he is a new picasso is amazing! I listen to all kinds of music, but also think in terms of artistry he must be somewhere there on the top.

#BEAUTIFUL🔥🔥🔥
Your Eminem reactions are among my favorites, but it's such a joy looking at people experiencing music you love for the first time. I love how you stop and reflect throughout the song.
Thanks Terry!
@@Kno_Buddy Oh yeah, I remember Em saying he'd be there for him when he was ready. Forgot about him dismissing it.
This was Tiger Stadium probably the last trough in a men's room I will ever see. And a great stadium, my first professional sports game
9:19 I respect you so much for always being honest about how Eminem changed your view on hip hop.
Thank you so much for the Eminem videos I look forward to more
Thanks Brandon. I JUST finished Rap God. Jeez... Drops on 3/16. mind...blown...
I always think Eminem is a master lyricist. He's just too good, intelligent, witty, funny and dumbed down at the same time.
Cheers 🍻
Thanks so much for your kind words!
The person singing is Paul Rodgers. He covered a song called Reaching Out which was originally by Rock Therapy and made the song with Queen and Eminem sampled it.
I love that you can hear the siren in the background of Darkness, and you don't realize it because it's always in the background.
DONE!
It's weird, I grew up scoffing at rap. But this song does it for me. All I knew was slim shady and the funny music video I saw as a kid.
Thanks so much!
He is a one in a lifetime artist. Many people dont admit it and unfortunately only when he dies all will realize what they were missing. Lets give him the flowers he deserves while he is still among us🙏
The Way I am is his best song IMO. He is definitely a once in a lifetime talent.
And don't apologize for your "Ramble" its why we come. Specially for someone new to Em/hip-hop. I enjoy seeing your discovery
Thanks so much!
Thanks Michelle! You are so very kind! Probably my dad, or evrn better yet, Jesus!!!
Connecting and understanding every single thing he was saying.
speaking of, he should react to White America and Way I Am
I came for the sound of silence review and reaction, I've stayed for the eminem library. Great job, always enjoyable
Its also amazing to see you understand his jokes and what he’s saying, I’ve tried showing some of his stuff to my parents and they just don’t get it… ( we are all Christians and conservative but they’re a little more close minded to rap)
Also it’s funny you mentioned recovery…. Because recovery is the name of one of his best albums after he got sober, he’s now been sober about 12 years.
Also the singing is a sample from a Queen and Paul rodgers song called reaching out
I'd say intro them to NF for a few and you might hook them.
Recovery is so underrated🤨🤷🏼♀️
There isn’t a writer dead or alive that knows his work who wouldn’t stand in awe of Eminem’s talents
It’s on RUclips if you want to check it out
What u have found in Eminems soul shows me u ARE AMAZING Larry u have a great soul just as he does
I grew up in a very religious house. Was never a load listening to em. Got grounded for having his cd's. But he truly helped me get through my childhood! Love him for that.
Em has funny songs, inspirational songs, and special songs like this.
Thank you for having a heart!
Thanks so much, Bianca
Thanks so much MW!
I'm sooooo happy you did this one I used to listen to this on repeat in my teen years. Got me through alot of shit man
Didn’t know I would get this today! The RUclips gods have smiled on me lol! This is my favorite em song maybe besides Superman bc I love the Shock factor of it, I’m so happy to have found you and that you are doing my favorite song tonight and that YOU FOUND EMINEM!!!
Thanks again!!!!

One of Em's BEST songs. Im loving all your reactions especially the hip hop ones and the fact that you ACTUALLY LISTEN to the lyrics. THANK YOU!!!
Patiently awaiting more em content
I would absolutely be ecstatic to hear you cover eminem's:

No Love
Talkin to myself

Oh I got so happy seeing this pop up!!!
Dude, you have been killing it on the reactions lately!!!! Usually this song is way later in peoples em journey!! This is personally in my top 3 em songs ever!
I still to this day notice things in Eminem songs that I’ve known for 20 years. That will happen to you FOREVER 🔥
The line that ALWAYS breaks me in this song is right after saying he's losing his sense of humor, then immediately after showing it's still there (as you noticed), then the lyric:
"I just hide behind the tears of a clown."😭😭😭
That segment represents my personal struggle with depression.
Thank you so much, Sid!
@@larryshair you're welcome Sir 🎩
My name is a combination of three names, the first part is "Sid Ahmed" wish mean "Sir Ahmed" and can't be separated because the meaning, the second name it is often used by people to call me is "Amine" , wish mean "the honest" and can used like "amen" or "hymn" from prayers..

Knox is awesome. Watch his videos all the time.
Thanks Angela!
Heyy i Love your Eminem reactions!! Greetings from Germany, and btw we proboly all like when you give a lil side story to the lyrics :))
And also "Rabbit Run"
@@anyman528 yess!
Is Hitler hiding over there?
2023 and this song never will go away. . We hear you Eminem we hear you 🥲
Love your channel man! I’ve been a die hard stan since I was 6… I’m 26 now - love Em. The best part about your channel is the fact I have found several songs I haven’t heard that are phenomenal. Keep it up!!
Bro same!
Yesterday I found your channel and I have been lost every since. I am an Eminem fan since the early days (I am 32 now). And I am so happy to hear that older people than I see his art and hear his messages. I am only fan of 1 artist and it´s Eminem. I listen to him daily, old and new songs.
Thanks so much and welcome to the Rabbit Hole!
Kim is by far the most awkward song I have listened to.
Not everyone likes songs like that. If he doesn't like them it doesn't mean anything.
You gotta follow Kim with instantly listening to bonnie & clyde 97
"Ahem.. Superman cough cough"
Should do a video of Eminem, Dr Dre and Skylar Grey called I Need A Doctor.....very moving words and an insight into how he got to where he is
Omg yes, you did Beautiful 😍 This song means so much to me. I even got a tattoo with lyrics out of that song.
'A picture of Em right next to Mona Lisa'... Oh wow I like that idea and I understand what you mean with that and you are right! ❤️
I wish you could remember the interview 😍 this sounds so good. I love seeing Eminem smile.
The buildings are in Detroit, he is talking to his hometown in this song, too.
Don't say sorry, for talking to much, we came here for saw your reactions!
That's so cool! Wish I could see the tat!
My absolute favorite song in the entirety of existence!
I love how our buddy gets even more into eminem after knowing his story and how much every song a meaning behind
I was waiting for you to drop this one it is really beautiful i had a feeling you would love it, you're reactions are the best hope you feel good and your health is good my guy!
Thanks Adam!
Thank you.
I love your perspective on Em man... I'm so happy you can appreciate him as much I do
Also I love watching this bc I didn’t know he wrote half of this in rehab! I love relapse as an album bc I’ve been through addiction and rehab. I didn’t see the AA rooms in When I’m Gone before watching your reactions! Thank you!
