Changes was a song sung originally by Ozzy Osbourne the lead singer of the 1970s rock band Black Sabbath.
Black Sabbath was an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1968 by guitarist Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward, bassist Geezer Butler and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne,
Ozzy Osbourne is the singer in Eminem's version of Changes.
Another great version of the song Changes was re-released in 2003 by Ozzy and his daughter Kelly Osbourne.

Omg, I can't listen to this song without my eyes getting wet. I'm going through changes as well lately. From a guy standing on the bridge crying, looking down ready to jump couple months ago to a guy being in the process of starting my dream business. Damn it's hard, really hard sometimes but now I know suicide is not an option. I even googled and saved a therapist number but I'm still too scared to ask for help. I also saved couple suicide prevention numbers to have them already on my phone in case I would be in this situation again.
    Loved the reaction!

@@that_averagetyp Given what you shared in your first comment, I have a feeling that you're stronger than you give yourself credit for. It's understandable to be on the fence about therapy, it's not a cure-all. The main thing is just knowing you're not alone and you can bounce ideas off anyone if you're looking for them. Maybe just hanging out on Larryshair and listening to music with folks and sharing meaning/experiences is helpful. And sometimes help is just having a fifteen minute conversation with a friend about Netflix shows or tacos, any random thing that distracts us or reminds us that the entire world is not completely miserable. You can always call someone and say "I'm just waiting on my laundry and thought it'd be fun to catch up" (you don't have to ask for help, sometimes a distraction is enough). I wasn't expecting a reply, but I'm really glad I got one. I hope things are still getting better.

I had a time in 2017 that I locked myself in my room all the time that I wasn't in college class or with my family. I kept the lights off and laid around all the time. It was during this time I almost ended it. I thought I didn't have anyone that cared and that's why I secluded myself. I didn't want people to hurt like I did. Music saved my life. Eminem, Billie, X, and some others were on that list. I believe God worked through their mouths to not only save me, but many millions of others going through what I did. I thank god everyday that I made it out of that hole. Talk to people. Trust me there are people who love you.

I definitely understand the appeal to the legal drugs. Eminem and Chester Bennington. One still with us, one no longer here. Both have saved more lives through their music and stories than it's possible to know. Linkin Park will always be one of the GOATs, just like Eminem. I strongly, STRONGLY encourage you to listen to just about anything from Linkin Park if you haven't already. Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes To Midnight, A Thousand Suns, Living Things, The Hunting Party, One More Light - those are the 7 studio albums by LP, and while not every song on them is a mega hit, I defy you to find one BAD song on any of them. Spoiler alert: There isn't one. Chester had mental health issues; I believe that is why he is no longer with us (via suicide) and was unable to pull himself out of it like Eminem was. Two of the greatest artists of all time, and they are more alike than they are different.

I knew this wouldn't be an easy one emotionally, but I'm so glad you reacted to it, since it's one of those songs about Em's life specifically and with substance (not as in drugs, but as in lyrical content). Songs like "Love The Way You Lie" are more about picking a topic and telling a story around it but it's not directly related to Em's life. Great reaction from you, I was tense through the whole thing and you gave great advice for people who are struggling! This one and "Not Afraid" I was waiting for the reactions and I loved both of them, for "Not Afraid" I really loved how hyped you were and stood up clapping and said it was the best song you ever heard 😄
But back to songs about his life directly - "Talking 2 Myself" ( ruclips.net/video/SwxT_O0HEFU/видео.html ) and "Guts Over Fear" ( ruclips.net/video/0AqnCSdkjQ0/видео.html ) still recommended.
Edit: Also a little unfortunate that this version of "Going Through Changes" had some minor faults in the lyrics, I guess not everyone looks through the videos they recommend to you 😄 It's not that bad though, were just some words.

The sample used for the chorus is Ozzy Osbourne's Changes, that's him in the chorus as well as Em.
I always love the words of wisdom you have to give folks. There comes a point in addiction where your body need the drugs in order to not feel sick....the addiction now has an addiction.
Surround yourself with people who want to help make you a better you!! YES!! You cannot be motivated to make a change in your life if you are surround by fake friends, people who don't want to see you do better, people who just agree and nod their heads. Reminds me of a song by NF called Remember This....one of the verses is
Surround yourself with people that challenge how you think
Not people that nod their head and act like they agree
Those people that cut you open just to watch you bleed
Always be yourself, not the person that you pretend to be,
If you haven't that song Chris, you need to, you'll love it. Great reaction, great words of advice, love your stories...and yep, same thing happens to me when he mentions Hailie, tears come. All the sound effects added before that last verse gets me every time...hair stands on end.
    #payitforward ALWAYS 💯💯❤❤

Dude, Opioids/Opiates(everything from vicodin to heroin) are the best thing to NEVER, EVER DO!! NEVER. NOT EVEN FOR PAIN! PLs trust me. Genuine pain turned me into a guinea pig of the opioid pandemic...and I made it to tell the tale. And YES, even though the majority of my issue WAS prescribed, I KNEW I deserved a better life and needed help to get it..I go to a methadone clinic now after years of prescribed opioid abuse.
(That's what the clinic calls my situation: "abuse via prescription directions"...wow)

I wouldn't say this is the song that did it for me but like I have said on and off in comments to you Larry that Em has done a lot while people hate him for unnecessary things and yeah he is a hellraiser but considering his upbringing, it showed us we can still live life. I have had many attempts on my life and others trying to kill me for their own personal gain, I had to be different from the pain that lead me down the void.
Em changed my life with his words and when he starts to do inspirational stuff like this, reflecting is what I end up doing. I was a mute on and off as a kid and got sick a lot. I couldn't use words the way everyone else did and I struggled with basic English and cannot speak Spanish yet after all this time because i needed to grow my speech comprehension. Listening to Em the first time around excited me because of his fun but crazy off the wall side. It made me want to push myself. Years later, I practiced Rap God for 5 months just to practice vocal work and improve my speech. I can safely say I can do just that and I got way better at rapping because of his complicated lyrical content. So every time I listen to his music from Mockingbird to Hailie's Song, etc. It changed my view to the world too. He gave me the strength to move on and that is why I will always support Marshall Mathers. I listened to so many of his songs
