I dunno if this is the right place to ask, but moon keeps killing me halfway through the second part of arts and crafts and I can’t find a way to get past it can anyone help
Hit them in the head three time per doll, throw tennis balls at their face, or even roll them with a freaking bowling ball. The only time they were a threat was during the circus bady mini game.
I think the whole thing with Sunny is that he’s nice to the kids, but since we play as an adult, he might feel less inclined to be so friendly and bubbly because his programming is, well, daycare attendant, made to be nice to the kids he cares for but he can let out his stress and anger from working with them, on the adults.
I really adore how Sun's newfound sassiness makes him feel less like he's made for his job and more like he's DESPERATELY smiling his way through it because he needs the money to make rent. The fact that Tales From the Pizzaplex implies that he's meant to be a theater actor makes me think of him as just as much of an employee as everyone else who's stuck in a very dead-end position.
With that Theater background Sun has, that would explain his perfectionist nature in this minigame, and his general dismissal of arts and crafts. After all he does describe art as being non creative, and if that’s the case what does he consider to be creative, the performing arts perhaps?
Finally, people who realize what was really going on. People keep missing the voicelines where he calls HW2 player a child in the Arts and Crafts minigame, which completely goes against the theory that he's "only like this with adults" because his voicelines imply he sees the player AS A CHILD during all that sass. I'm all for fanon and interpretations but I'm tired of this fanbase coming up with easily debunkable theories and treating it as fact, I guess. I kind of like the idea that Sun doesn't entirely like children (not enough to like, hurt them (thats moons job), but enough to never know how to properly take care of one) yet he's left tending to so many at once despite, prior, being meant to be perfect and entertain vast audiences. People don't realize just how harsh and demanding theatre can be, which is why making a THEATRE BOT the daycare bot was an awful decision. Just goes to show how much Fazbear doesn't care that they're giving their sentient robots genuine health concerns 😂
Mooooood. It's also part of a feel I think a lot of 'positive' people have in them, I know I do; having spent so much time pouring your kindness and care into others when they're not okay, but no one ever returning that effort to you once they feel better. Only seeing people when they need your labor, and never receiving the care and attention YOU KNOW people need is so deeply fustrating and isolating that when one's paitence finally breaks... Well, I suffered from violent episodes and memory lapses. Sun and Moon are deeply important to me.
Will say sun's behavior also suits the theory he was originally not meant for daycare but instead theatre. Demoted from grand performance to taking care of kids makes most people very jaded.
The vast amount of self proclaimed Sun and Moon fans who miss this fact awes me, I personally love the attitude because it makes them more realistic. I, personally, don't think Sun likes kids that much from how he acts- and I don't even blame him.
I think it's super interesting how Roxy's insecurity and demand for attention in the glam salon minigame could easily be callbacks to the classic foxy mechanics
Glam Chica's characterization in HW2 kind of recontextualizes her appearance in Ruin too and it's really sad. Her last line, "I smell Pizza." She never escaped her addiction. Makes her end a little more powerful from a character point of view.
Something to add, Foxy's VA, Chris McCullough confirmed on twitter that he did not voice Foxy this time. Jason Topolski does Captain Foxy's voice over instead.
Chris aired some less than professional stuff on twitter recently.... I feel bad for the guy, he is obviously going through a nasty divorce, but grown adults should know not to vent certain things for the world to see on a public soapbox when you represent a company. That said he WAS Foxy and will be missed. I hope they can work something out moving forward. I do think it will blow over.
@@redpanda6497 You can look it up. In the grand scheme of things it was very unprofessional imo, but not destroy your career level or anything. Just stupid.
@@Hex.A.Decimal I've also heard from one commenter that's he's a pedo. I really hope that one isn't true. At this point I'm tired of hearing about almost every known person in this community either flirting with minors or trying to bully someone into suicide. Terrible. That's all I have to say. English isn't my first languge, please ignore the grammar mistakes. Edit: I've looked it up. I don't know if he knew about the age of the character, but to be honest he definitely seems like a difficult, condescending person to me. No matter what happened to you you shouldn't talk like that. It's simply basic respect. And from my experience every person who didn't have that respect and patience have turned out to be a bad, egoistic person. Talking styles have a lot do with personality and i've noticed a pattern. There are red flags, even if this word is overused. I'll wait to see what happens next, but I won't let that thought go.
The endo programming mini game implies that the glam rock animatronics start out as endos whose AIs develop unique personalities that eventually become characters like Freddy or Roxy. My theory is that considering the unstable personalities of many of the glam rocks, and the fact that Fazbear is doing to education of these AIs, is that many of the stranger or more negative personality traits of the glam rocks can be traced back to the emphasis on 80s consumerist ideals during their education. For example, Chica has a duel obsession with fitness and food, Roxy is obsessed with her physical appearance, Monty is obsessed with being the leader - a sort of alpha-male complex. It all ties into the growing consumerism of the 1980s, the decade that the pizzaplex is themed around. My idea is that Fazbear has been cashing in on the nostalgia for this decade by creating caricatures of 1980s sentiments, without considering how the dark and insidious parts of the decade would effect the AI
I think Mimic probably directly pulled on these ideas, as that entire minigame is basically training a Mimic Endoskeleton for life in the Pizzaplex. In fact, the line about TBD Pizzaplex mascots made me think of Tiger Rock in particular, considering the Endo is connected to what appears to be the storyteller (judging by the wires and placement on the map).
Dude how did I not realize that Monty is The Jock? It makes perfect sense. I was so stuck on viewing the Glams as various psychological disorders or seven deadly sins that I totally blanked on simply comparing them to The Breakfast Club and such. Of course it's possible all of these are inspirations for the characters.
Maskbot being Cassie's dad is so funny to me. Like what was once a joke character is now probably going to be a character that will have several plot-important appearances
I think the most adorable things about the plush babies are when they try to jump on you. The way they slowly fall softly just reminds me they are dolls and they return to that adorableness with nub limbs.
The thing with Plushbabies is that Steelwool knows how much they are hated so they allowed the player to savage them at every opportunity. The new unanimous and now literal punching bag of the franchise.
It makes a lot of sense in the fazerblast stages in which she is used to be more present in these older titular titles. Implying that the mimic could’ve been present at these locations in some way or form.
According to the books, Sun and Moon were originally performers in the daycare theatre, right? Poor Sun, demoted from star actor to children's chew toy. Could also explain Eclipse, possibly. Maybe Eclipse was the reprogrammed version meant to take care of kids in the daycare, but at some point got separated back into the two jesters. Y'know, the "We need to be whole" thing from Ruin. In that case, Sun would have never been meant to take care of the kids in the first place, which explains why he struggles with it so much. Also gives a bit of an explanation as to why he's so obsessed with the arts and crafts being perfect (perfectionist being a common actor trope).
I don't really trust the books. Ruin confirms that they've been working in the daycare since Cassie was a kid and that Moon used to be nice. The Bobbiedots says Moon is naturally evil and that the employees live with big chested anime waifus. XD
@@notrealnamenotatall2476books also say the moon is connected to the Dream sphere (which are in HW2), as well as the fact that black and white branches were made to connect all over the Pizzaplex from the storyteller, who was removed in Tiger Rock. Also, Mimic1 is specifically said to be developing VR and AR stuff in the books, which explains why Mimic is connected to these arcade and VR games
The theater is IN the Daycare, there's no reason they couldn't do both and also have human employees before recently shifting to a movie theater focus once they started firing people. Freddy and the gang do birthday parties AND stage performances, it's not unreasonable that Sun and Moon did theater at the same time and just had scheduled performances.
I just love how the plushbaby gets bodied in Bonnie Bowl. Like "oooh, i'm gonna get you- ow god fuck ow" Also I think the Roxy mask solves a small plothole in Ruin: the MASK was the security node you had to disable, not Roxy herself. That's why she was able to come back to fight off the Mimic, she was at most knocked out by the disable function from the Faz-wrench on the mask before rebooting.
The Helpy first aid sections (at least one of them) implies Michael just has spare organs around in case someone needs a transplant and that is funny as hell. I'd like to think he never actually needed to use them and they got perfectly cooked in the fire, leaving a nice snack for whoever decided to check out the wreckage.
So I just recently read "I'm Glad My Mom Died" by Jennette McCurdy and after reading that, the Chica levels in HW2 hit me a lot harder because of all the eating disorder stuff. I have an eating disorder, but hearing about someone else's really opened my eyes to the different ways that kind of disorder can manifest, and while I knew Chica liking food was kindda in that ballpark, the new game really drives home that she doesn't like food, food is destroying her and she can't stop... I've always liked Chica but now I just feel so bad for her. Anyway, great video as always, I love your character analysis stuff! Looking forward to the next one.
Something else to note is how during her time on iCarly, Dan Schneider was supposedly aware of Jennette’s struggles with food; yet within the show, Sam was consistently written to be a glutton. So Jennette would occasionally be forced to eat in large quantities that the staff likely knew she wouldn’t be able to keep down. By comparison, think back to how Classic Chica used to have the exact same body type as the other animatronics. Ever since she was temporarily decommissioned in FNAF 2, all of the proceeding Chica variants (minus Phantom and Nightmare, who aren’t physically real) were slimmed down to appear more feminine. Yet the character’s obsession with pizza always remained a part of her persona. It’s disgusting to think that Glamrock Chica’s addiction only happened because Fazbear Entertainment programmed those desires into her, while also expecting her to be a symbol of fitness and health to the public.
@@Cure_HanaCovering up the revival of one of the most twisted murderers in the world, I can give a pass. But programming an animatronic to have self-destructive addiction, that's a step too far.
@@Irreverent_Radiation idk if you were joking, but if you weren't: william afton's whole schtick is cartoonish violence. when it was *just* the mci, almost everyone was equally as sad at their fates. then all of the remnant and "i always come back" stuff started and the jokes really came in. but now we're coming back around to real-life tragedy, which is why we're sympathizing more. It's stepping out of the realm of cartoonish violence and into the realm of mental illnesses and corporate greed, at least on the part of the animatronics (which you can compare 1:1 with IRL actors and how they're treated behind the scenes)
@@onyourleft4194 The way child abuse in the Afton family and the missing children incident was handled in the new stories will always make me disappointed. It shouldn't sound like a superpower seeking villain's silly actions. It could be realistic and more personal ( I mean, the kids didn't even get a personality ), but no. It didn't happen. It would make Pee paw Willy into a believably disturbing guy who gets away with stuff because of his relation to the mascots and the progression of technology and Fazbear entertaintment an even more terrible company who sweep every bad thing under a rug to save themselves, and of course, to get more money ( like Nestle or Disney ).
@@redpanda6497 i agree with you, i was just trying to explain why the fandom tends to stray more towards jokes - because the content itself is more jokey. i do agree that it's... upsetting that the kids are written off in favour of their murderer's/abuser's """badassery"""
What I like about this portrayal of G.Chica is that it leans even further into the community consensus that she and the other Glamrocks, bar Freddy, represent issues with Rock stars/Artists in general. She's portrayed even further as an addict, with a more family friendly version of her vice, going along with the anger issues and lust for the spotlight Monty portrays and the vanity amd general putting on a face that Roxy portrays
Sun has gone from someone whose design I really enjoyed but didn’t have many feelings about as a character to one of my favorites. I absolutely love all the personification they gave him!! Characters who are always sunshine are nice, but characters who SEEM like they’re sunshine but are internally starting to lose it are 💖
@@Aubergine_Eggplant_ManMoon: I'll kill that brat! Sun: No no no, we can't be thinking like that around the kids! Moon: Fine make them take a nap that'll stop the brat throwing stuff and paintballing you. Whatever will the shut them up. Sun: I shouldn't, but this dude is so infuriating! Eclipse moment? Sun and Moon agree. I Hate this brat!
As someone who just beat HW2, Scrap Baby's jumpscare is definitely the most intense out of all of them. Even though you're playing as an adult character, she's still massive in comparison. She turns you around in the jumpscare animation and then rips your head off. It's, in my opinion, the best jumpscare in the series so far.
Btw, if its in the lore for Monty to hate Bonnie, then its pretty much the companies fault. We teach the endos with cards, so having that stuff just around would tell Monty that he should hate Bonnie and destroy him.
I definitely lay all of the blame for the Glamrock's major faults- Roxy's crippling insecurity, Chica's food addiction, Monty's anger- solely on Fazbear Entertainment. Every step of the way they did a poor job.
Really upset how little fnaf 6 we got in hw2, especially considering it was the *only* game completely missing from the first help wanted. Scrap baby is much appreciated but I was so incredibly upset Molten Freddy didn't get to appear. I was so curious to see how they would animate him, I think seeing him in motion slithering around the vents would do a lot for his character.
While i am glad lefty and scrap baby got in, i was a lil sad that molten freddy and afton weren't added. I know their designs aren't as good but c'mon now they deserve a second time. And who knows, maybe steel wool can slightly modify afton's design to not be as ridiculous
I LOVE Circus Baby’s voice lines in the beginning. It’s the perfect mix of childlike innocence and malicious intent and is the exact reason why I love Circus Baby in the first place
I don't know if you noticed these few things, but: Pigpatch's eyes are more reddish, making him look high Ballora's eyes are bigger Carnie's teeth are wooden The nightmare staffbot eyes don't glow Foxy has double teeth in the very first two teeth on his bottom jaw (he has this in the movie too) Thats about all. I will get back to you if I find anything else.
I REALLY loved Sun's characterization here. I work with children, and I love working with them . All my patience is spent on them- I myself even developed "childish" characteristics bc I spend a lot of time with kids and would get comments abt that by people in my age group- all this combined, I do tend to be more impatient, stern, and silver tongue with other adults compared with the kids. Sun's characteristics in the game really spoke to me. I felt a little represented ngl. I'm glad the game developers didn't infantilize him just cause he's a daycare worker.
I've come to realize that Glamrock Freddy is just a big, robotic himbo. He doesn't mean any harm, he's somewhat unintelligent/naive, and he only wants to help. When the player meets him in the freezer, even though he can't see, he trusts them to help him out
I do hope you get a chance to try this in VR. You quite literally feel like ducking to avoid getting kicked by Ballora. I didn't realize until watching Markiplier that you can actually fail by being too close to her, it felt like she was mere inches from me when I avoided detection, which makes it even more terrifying looking back. Oh and looking up to see DJ Music Man looming over you, words cannot properly describe his massive size and the whole experience. Also, everyone bullying Sun by eating the crafts or throwing things or shooting darts at him deserves that snark.
When I played it for myself it really changed the experience a lot! Seeing things up close at scale cannot translate to the flat screen. And 💯, when I did arts and crafts, Sun was actually pretty nice to me (shredding aside) and I was confused. Apparently if you don't do anything annoying or take too long he's perfectly fine 😂
Really the portrayal of the animatronics was what i was looking forward to the most for HW2 and it didnt disappoint. I think thats Steel Wool's biggest strength in this series making the models and presentation as great as they can. You can really tell they enjoyed working on them.
I'm so glad funtime Chica got her time to shine, I always found her design creepy, especially her demented little cupcake, with their needle sharp teeth and I just always found Chica generally eerie in her incarnations. Her mechanic was also fun, basically playing keepaway with the cupcake, while not too punishing.
I felt Ballora's spinning was a bit too fast compared to her music, but that might be just me. I remember a VR remake of SL with the breaker section about as easy as FNAF 2 was in VR. Interesting they actually called Foxy "they" in this. And nice that Chica was with them this time. I almost wondered about some comparison between her and Glamrock Bonnie as 'absentees', with maybe a touch of Glamrock Chica and the Pizzaplexes Foxy...
For the Funtime Foxy thing, I say it was the easiest way they found to replicate the gag with Mangle's pronouns flip flopping, in case they only used one pronoun. Or maybe it's because their gender is confusing, which seems more likely.
hey I played the SL fanmade VR recreation and are you suggesting that it was hard or easy? cuz I found it very creepy but I beat it like first try I think..
@@Bredstikc Funtime Roxy is just one entity so, it doesn't really makes sense. Funtime Foxy is clearly designed as a female animatronic. Not even counting hoe she's always present on Ladies Night. I don't think that a 198X Fazbear Entertainment would be able to do something like that. Funtime Foxy and Mangle pronouns are just an internal joke at this point.
@@texel76 They is a pronoun used for something genderless, not just multiple people. So referring to Funtime Foxy with they makes sense in any context. Also Foxy is a male, given his voice in UCN.
Steelwool did an amazing job at texturing the models of the animatronics. Circus Baby and Scrap Baby look fabulous. All of the Sister Location animatronics look fabulous.
Sun broke me with his sassiness. I always headcanoned sun to have a sassy side but for him to have this much sass made me love him and Moon all the more
I think with the HW2 ending, it's clear that Moon was Vanny's primary puppet. Which also means Moon was most likely the one used to hunt down and kill the children before Gregory. It's heavily implied that he is the one destroying STAFF Bots, and in RUIN the environment seems to hint that he got into a fight with the Endoskeletons which is why he's shattered. He has clear violent tendencies, which Vanny could easily use. It also paints Sun's distress in a whole new light, because he KNOWS what will happen to Gregory if the lights go out, he's been forced to witness it before.
Sun had so much sass. It was almost scary. Everybody is gonna be the mimic. I am glad circus baby is not butchered. Edit: Ballora could roundhouse kick someone in the face. Pretty beautiful and effectively too.
As someone who is a moderate fan of the mediocre meolodys, and brothers with someone who is obsessed with them, and specifically happy frog I think it's important to mention that there is a withered/ruined happy frog featured in the hard mode of the arts and crafts level.
My prediction on the Bonnie Bowl cuts is that, in the harder version, you would see Monty and Bonnie in the backhround throughout, until the event that caused Bonnie to be anhialated happens at the end. It's possible that originally Steelwool planned for this plotline to be a smaller incusion, but decided to push it back to the DLC as a larger focalpoint rather than just one minigame.
Despite wishing the game had more ideas that could make the game feel a lot more scarier there are still cool things that were added that made the gameplay fun. Such as Sun getting agitated of your art adding the tension on hoping it looks good, Ballora moving in the dark and now we get to experience it in a more realistic way, Moon hiding in the carousel ride in the dark, and Ennard’s animation of crawling through the vents.
I have always been a Glamrock Chica fan since Security Breach. I think it was my comment where I theorized that Chica could possibly hint or parallels to an eating disorder, as all the Glamrocks seemed to have some sort of "rockstar clutch" and... Man, was it tragic that I turned out to be somewhat right. (and she was almost exactly as I portrayed her in my fanfic too, and as Someone with an eating disorder, it weirdly motivates me to be better for her.)
This game really makes ya feel bad for some characters. Poor Glamrock Freddy being locked in the freezer, Helpy being subjected to force medical "care", and Glamrock Chica straight up having an eating disorder. If animatronic therapists don't exist, they need to.
Explains her willingness to resort to extreme measures like eating grabage, cursed with a eternal hunger that can never truly be fed will never go away and drives her to do extreme things like throw herself into a trash compactor just to get a face full of pizza flavored goo she can't even truly taste. Every discovery we make about her just makes her already tragic story sadder each time
The new Ennard model is very much a welcome addition, but it doesn't come without it's flaws. One of the key traits to Ennard is not in the new model. His left eye is wide open, when it normally is mostly closed. It's a minor nitpick, for sure, but considering its a very recognizable trait, (and I am a very biased Ennard fan), it's still a valid nitpick.
OK I don't remember Ennard's earlier models in vivid detail, but I'm PRETTY sure that the eyes all over their body are different colors, because they're from the other Funtimes, right? But in HW2, ALL of the eyes except the ones in the actual face are gold (like Foxy's). Am I totally misremembering this? Asking because I haven't paid much attention to their model in SL or HW but maybe you remember (like my obsessive brain does with all iterations of Sun lol)
@drawingdragon you are correct. The eyes all over Ennards body are different colors. I don't remember all of them, but the one on his neck is blue, one of the eyes is purple (midsection?), and another is yellow (left arm?). But yes. They are differently colored. It's quite disappointing to me that the new model is not accurate to the source material.
@yeahman20 OK that's what I thought. I wonder if it's not meant to be a retcon of Ennard's old model, but instead a hint that something is "off" with the HW2 animatronics. Maybe it's a stretch, but Helpi's eyes are gold/yellow when the Mimic is speaking through him, so maybe it's a clue that this isn't an accurate depiction of Ennard but instead the Mimic or the Fazbear training AI trying to replicate him for the experience? I'm not sure how many of the minigames are supposed to be actually happening, or if they're supposed to be in-universe experiences like the original Help Wanted. It would explain characters (especially from SL) that SHOULD be destroyed being "present"
@drawingdragon I made a post about the inconsistencies, with both Steel Wool models and someone said that the reason could be that Fazbear Entertainment wouldn't know what he actually looked like. They'd only have blurry camera footage of Ennard
Very fitting that this is the first game since Sister Location that the full Funtime band was in a game. Freddy was MIA in Ultimate Custom Night, Funtime Foxy was missing in AR, and the original Help Wanted omitted Ballora.
While I did dislike how some characters were favored over others, some of which got canned entirely, I do think the game was an improvement over the first HW. As for the story, well, that’s neither here nor there. Tbh I’m really losing interest in where this franchise is headed lore wise. But! It’s always fun to see what else comes out of the witch’s cauldron that is FNaF, and this video was a treat to watch! Wish you a good day!!
Something small I noticed is that while Glamrock Chica jumpscares you after getting just one order wrong, Shattered Chica gives you another chance. Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but this seems to imply she’s gotten even hungrier to the point that she can’t afford to be as picky as before. She’s just that hungry that she’s still mad if you get her order wrong, but so desperate that she gives you another chance. Not to mention that she also has much larger orders. She also pauses for a moment after eating, but it’s quite a long pause, implying that she’s affected more by her eating habits, leading up to her straight up shutting down sometimes in Ruin. Another thing is that after you complete normal Roxy’s level, you hear her saying speech exercises. This is… quite concerning considering the fact that she’s a robot. She doesn’t need to have speech exercises as her voice box doesn’t have human limitations. This just goes to show how she’s insecure to the point that she’s learned that humans do speech exercises, so maybe her doing them will help her be even more perfect, even though it realistically won’t help at all. Poor thing. And I like to think that the Plushbabies made so many appearances where you can hit them away as some kind of fanservice due to how much the community wants to collectively punt them into the stratosphere. Lastly, that carousel Sun line is SUCH A MOOD 😂
The Puppet not appearing is such a bummer. Especially if the "girl who escaped from the oven" means we weren't shown Lefte's demise in the Simulator for a reason!

Not seeing anyone saying this, but the difference between Foxy’s voice is probably because his original voice actor got fired for saying some weird stuff on Twitter. So it’s likely that foxy in help wanted two is a different person trying to mimic the vibe of the original va’s performance

Ballora is my all time favorite animatronic to the point of putting her on my characters to cosplay list so seeing her get such an upgrade made me so happy! Also, regarding Roxy, she wants HER eyes. They were eyes unlike all the others and they were taken from her by someone who outmaneuvered her at evey turn. Finding Gregory in her mind will make things square. The first thing she screamed when she thought Cassie was him was GIVE ME BACK MY EYES. She's accepted the fact that she'll never get back to her beautiful state because no one is around to repair her but if she can just get her eyes back, her unique and special eyes, it'll be okay. Plus getting back her eyes means that Gregory is dead and will never hurt her or what's left of her friends ever again. I absolutely adored what they did with Circus Baby. They let her be fully present in the game and we got to hear her without Elizabeth's influence or with her influence firmly kept in check The ice cream scene was creepy but also nice. The last time Baby gave someone ice cream, they died painfully. That didn't happen and pretty much confirmed that the protagonist is an adult (Cassie's Dad???). I call Moon The Booty Warrior and he definitely lived up to that label in this game. He was an absolute menace and I loved it. Seeing Sun actually have a real personality and be snarky in the easy mode and devastated in the hard was awesome. Funtime Chica FINALLY got her time to shine and pardon me for saying this, but she Ate and left no crumbs. I am heartbroken for Glamrock Chica but she definitely got an upgrade in personality and stage presence. Also, the El Chip minigame was 100% put together by someone who worked in food service with an asshole manager. Seeing Glamrock Freddy whole and being his himbo self made me happy and also hate Fazbear Entertainment more than I already do. They just left Papa in there to freeze! Of course, what do you expect from a company whose founders created SAW traps disguised as whimsical woodland creatures for their employees to wear for the kiddies, LMAO? Justice for Glamrock Bonnie and poor Helpy. I admit I was bummed that they didn't put The Ball Pit in with him but STILL, leave the little guy alone. Steel Wool has a tendency to cut some of the coolest and most lore relevant things in their game and the handling of Bonnie proves that. If there's a DLC, I hope they fix that and if they MUST bring Monty back, I wanna see the Showdown. I wanna see Bonnie fight him off so well that Monty had to sneak attack him to take him down. I don't buy the PR spin regarding them at all. Nah. Monty had beef and he wanted to get in the band and closer to Freddy by any means necessary. I loved all of the new characters, especially Carnie and I'm just as over Candy Cadet as you are. He's earned his place in the fandom. He doesn't have to keep being so cryptic and edgy. Pick a struggle, LMAO! Anyway, I'm very happy that Help Wanted 2 released with few glitches that I know of and with lots of improvements as well as actually giving us a firm place in the tangled mess that's the Timeline of these games. Steel Wool is finding their footing and slowly but surely regaining the overall fandom's trust after Security Breach. They did good. I hope they keep it up.
The graphics on the animatronics looked really good compared to the first help wanted. I wish we got to see what molten Freddy and scraptrap would’ve looked liked in these new graphics. Glad we got to see the withered version of DJ Music Man I bet that was steelwools apology for not having him show up in ruin but even tho I liked the withered design I was expecting more. Also glad Funtime chica was actually a threat instead of that weird photo obsessed distraction mechanic in UCN. The animation of ennard moving in the hallway was pretty cool seeing him struggle since it makes sense he wouldn’t be walking easily since he’s made up of different parts.
5:51 I'm pretty certain that all of Ballora's voicelines in Help Wanted 2 are recycled, it would've been cool if we got some new ones to flesh out her personality and give her more character, but I'm just happy that she made it into the game at all.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed the voice change. I definitely miss the original, but it is funny to think that in fnaf Lore , some intern was voicing foxy this time or that maybe foxy is just not enthused doing pirate stuff.
@@_V.Va_ Or maybe they completely forgot to contact Chris McCullough this time for whatever reason. The voice used this time is done by the guy who usually does placeholder voice acting in Steel Wool's projects.
I know I am commenting way too much, but I want to add that glamrock freddy is actually not always his chipper fatherly self during the minigame. And no I'm not just referring to him killing you, I mean in his personality. He says himself that he may act off and if you die and retry he sounds notably upset saying stuff like "it happened again" in an upset tone and I definitely do recall other lines leading to this but I can't remember what they were exactly. I like to see more of his character expression when knocked into his unsafe mode, gives him more depth.
The Roxy and Chika sections were gold! I remember you made a video about Ruins!Roxy having a different model/completely different face, and here it is~ The mask is so similiar to Darth Vader's, too - which makes some fun parallels between Luke and Vader's last scene and Roxy and Cassie's farewell.
Off topic but I think mystic hippo really nails that sorta female design some shows and games would do back then where all they would do is take a male design but give it a a dress and some makeup. like how Disney made minney mouse and Daisy Duck. Well- not all female characters in the franchise must look like a girl to be a girl, same for the boys! But the red lipstick for Mystic hippo, kind of degraded the design, I feel like it's a little bright, maybe maroon would suit better with the plum-purple shade of skin
@@Theonly_z_Official yeah maroon would be nicer for the design, but idk I feel red would be better for this just cause I feel they were making it bad on purpose 🫤 Very true on that first point too
I feel like Ennard could’ve been done a bit more service. His bossfight from SL was iconic for how difficult and stressful it was, along with how high the stakes were for both parties involved. Here he seems very toned down, probably due to being the first intro to the Office levels. I wish he got faster as the night went on, and if he spoke like he did before. Maybe that’s just me but my wirey boi didn’t get a lot.
Sunny is such a sassy, snarky, funny ass man, like that one gay uncle in sitcoms. I swear he would critique the shit out of some middle school relatives attempt to make coffee with the sassiest pose known to man.
2:18 "That is probably not how it looks in real life" I think it might be. Or at least, that might be a part of it. I mean, she can't be showing off her giant metal death claw every time she's giving a random child ice cream~ especially if an adult might be in the room. Maybe that's how she normally gives out ice cream? Or maybe the death claw is under that glove?
From what I saw on Twitter the old Foxy va got replaced because he made problematic tweets and calling a certain group of people whores, that's unfortunately all I remember and can't remember the full thing
@justice8718 I think it was a group of cosplayers who had OFs as a side income but they don't like being touched when they're out in public and dressed up. Memories a little hazy but I'm pretty sure that was the situation
Honestly I feel very bad about Chica it seems like they gave her a sense of hunger in her AI or something but because she is a robot she can't feel satisfaction so she just eats anything and everything to the point of insanity
34:30 sun and moon's voice lines are SO good! so charismatic and the voices themselves are [chef's kiss]. especially sun's sassy ones, omfg. he sounds fed up as fuck and i love it. dca fans are eating good tonight all around. this video was great, as always!
Great video, looking forward to your extended cut on the daycare attendant. I can't decide if the Dreadbear expansion location being used for the carousel and shooting gallery has any significance or not, or if it's just appropriate reuse of assets.
I think the modelwork from this game is pretty cool! I love how Ennard and Yenndo look, Baby has a slight bit of makeup added, and her scrap form is so cool to see fully for once. I don't like Pigpatch though, he looks like he ended up in someone's bacon sandwich and got bit. Lefty was neat to see also, I like the design it's cool. Great vid as always Note!
19:00 Fruit Punch clown does appear, he's just in a different place to his counterpart. And the mask doesn't actually replace the ears, which were one of the weirdest things because the Ruin mask had ears far too large to fit under her old ears.
It definitely says something when the best father figure in your franchise is a robot bear that immediately takes care of a child you’ve only known for 6 hours 😂 But in all seriousness, this game could’ve still had a bit more oomf and extra polish, but I was still very pleased (and in some cases, ecstatic) with how some of the animatronics were handled in this game! I feel like Steelwool is starting to find a rhythm and are really playing to their strengths here. Hell, I just said “they could’ve done more,” but there’s already so much stuff they made for this game that I never felt disappointed! Not saying this game is flawless or that there’s nothing else that could be been done, but it overall feels like this was a REALLY good step in the right direction when it comes to giving the animatronics some flavor or depth. If anything, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had even more plans for more characters like Monty but then ran out of time again. Still not sure about some of their final decisions, but hey, this felt a LOT less rushed than Security Breach, so I’ll take it
Hey! I just watched your Stitchwraith video and think the idea of Jake and Andrew embodying Sun and Moon really carries some weight, especially as demonstrated in this video. When they find themselves trapped in a new body, they both strive to adapt to their roles as best as they can, hoping it could help them move on. Jake’s erratic and overly friendly behavior, contrasted with Andrew’s psychotic and wild actions, might be influenced by the Afton virus affecting them both. Perhaps under normal circumstances, they work together harmoniously, similar to how Sun and Moon animatronics are implied to complement each other in personality, blending friendliness and kindness with firmness and a parental approach, kind of like how Eclipse is presented. However, the virus puts them in a state where cooperation is challenging. The notion of a 'sassy son' makes sense if Andrew is mostly in control at the moment. (I don’t believe this was the original intent of the game, but it’s an interesting theory.) Sorry for the lengthy message, and I apologize for any grammatical errors.
Well, maybe Timmy's cake wasn't ice cream; "little Jimmy would know the difference..." It was so nice to have Freddy concern for us during repairs, tho him saying different Jimmy's I wonder might be a dig at pulling a Jeremy. Pretty sure Jimmy was an AR worker with his name on the bulletins in SB. I've seen Impulse Evan and MR Springs do videos on the Fazbear company - would be interested if you tried it (Hand Unit could still use a video). Chica's role certainly seems to align with the message of tackling for the Mystery Mix. Super excited for her video. Also, the Theater's main entrance wasn't seen in Ruin, so there's another perk. Also Shattered Chica got a voice credit despite she can't talk... I might wanna consider some red cords on Roxy's endo and some other stuff you mentioned last summer, it was nice to acknowledge the mask. How it functions to shut her off is still beyond me. Bummer that Monty got squandered of lines again, his VA does the Carnie, but at least there bits of him here. Along with 5 Glamrock plushies to act out with - as Rye Toast did in his 7hr stream. And speaking of claws, Bonnie's model weirdly doesn't seem to sport them. Heh, speaking of sunshine and rainbows, I saw a humanized AU with Sun made a mother of the personified Magic Rainbow. Seems the wind-ups crawl from those little tubes in the Fazcade; I once considered the DJ totally survived Ruin, but lucky that he's this much in tact. Endos also in the theater.
I love how when explaining the Candy Cadet stories, you'd described the one about the food deal as though it was serious and important, then explained the second one nonchalantly. Just thought it was funny :)
38:13 - Cool! A No Straight Roads reference! I've played the game and it is fun. I really enjoy the humor and story. :) In Help Wanted 2, it seems like Steel Wool has made quite a lot of improvements of the animatronic designs of the characters compared to how they look in the Help Wanted and Security Breach. I wish I had VR headset because this would be cool to play in VR. I guess I'll wait for the flat mode version of the game when it eventually comes out. Since the first HW game got a flat mode (no VR) version, then it will be no surprise if HW2 will get one, too.
As a nursery worker myself, i truly felt that brain shortcircuit moment just before sun exasperatedly pleads "dont eat the crafts". Kids do the darndest of things for no reason whatsoever and sun's deliveries are the perfect portrayals of my day to day
Here's a conspiracy, the Bonnie Bowl animation of Monty and Bonnie was created by Vanny/Glitchtrap/Mimic/Whoever to trick Freddy into thinking Monty killed Bonnie to sow division amongst the band. This would make the Glamrocks easier to divide and conquer as was seen in security breach, I will not give up defending Monty until there's a literal cutscene of him killing Bonnie.

I love the description of Sun as a party clown, not just for my innate love of clown characters as well as the Daycare Attendant, but because yeah, that's a pretty apt description. He entertains and watches over the kids while they dick around in the Daycare, it's his *job.* He's programmed to be the adult in the room, not just a really big child, because even Faz Ent seems to realize that an overgrown child watching over the other children wouldn't help all that much. He can pull a good clown around kiddos like Cassie or Gregory, but doesn't feel the need to keep it up around adults like the HW Protagonist. (should I call the HW protagonist Jeremy? the lore is still confusing to me-) It's not quite a "cheery facade" and moreso a "customer service face." He's programmed to deal with the kiddos, that's his job, and while by all accounts he doesn't seem to hold a grudge towards the kids themselves, expecting the party clown to keep his "job face" on while around coworkers isn't in his metaphorical "paycheck."
I feel like Sun has a couple different lines he can follow up the "You call that art?!" line with, because I've never heard the one used in this video and instead heard one where he says "Get good!" after it, which I thought was fantastic. Speaking of Kellen Goff and how much he kills it every time they bring him in, my all time favorite line in this game is if you fail the Glamrock Freddy minigame with the cake, because they were smart enough to record new, unique lines for doing it again rather than just repeating the tutorial. My favorite, by far, is the incredibly simple "It happened again."
I'm back at the HW rants! It's been really great to see so many improvements on HW2! The VR games are one of my favs in the entire franchise and they are for a good reason. Mainly for the enjoyment of seeing the Fazbear icons on action and for the immaculate vibes. And I'm still very bummed about Steel Wool cutting off SO many cool things that could perfectly be added to the games! Such as the gator man himself and Bonnie's voicelines. And mainly really annoyed on the fact that Vanny had no lines at all, though I've heard that it might've been because she made the whole expirience more "hand held". In my opinion, (and as I think I said in other comment?) I really enjoy the mysterious and strange lore given in HW2, forcing the cominity to squish their brains even more than usual to decipher the lore, but I would loved to see more of Vanny as well..... Oh and I'm still really intrigued by the lack of Afton presence/incarnations. (not counting Glitchtrap because funny mimic shenanigans) I find it quite suspicious actually, specially with all this talk of the MCI kids. But anyways, Cut-out-trap best variation of Springtrap. Ever. I will die on this hill. (It's just like the Little Big Planet's story mode characters! And so goofy as well! Definetly spinning it around in my head like a microwave does) And I love the fact that Steel Wool put so much detail into the game that you can see cool arcade machines with completely original names and theming as well as actual contracts inscripted on the back of candies. I would talk about the arcades themselves but this comment is long enough :') Thanks for coming to my ted talk, once more.
Seems HW2 really suceeded at expanding the personalities of the animatronics they wish to flash out! That might be why Monty is not, they don't want to flash him out more, while they seem to want the Puppet a familiar sight but a question mark. Also as a No Straight Roads fan, I love the comparison of the DJ Music Man and Supernova!
What I love is this is the first time actually seeing Circus Baby active like a proper animatronic. In SL she doesn't move during her night and only Scrap Baby really moves about in the other games. Ik we do get a bit of her in that one circus baby minigame from HP1 but it doesn't feel like we're dealing with a legit Baby there. In this game she moves around and even gives you an ice cream.
Fun fact, the step ('spin') Ballora does in the office segment down the hall is called fouettés, an actual ballet step (move)! Also, in the beginning of her gallery, when she's on stage, she's in actual ballet poses! So, they actually put SOME effort into actually putting ballet into her character! Tho, the poses looked awkward and her pointe shoes, if you had to dance in them, would be painful based on the shape! But that's just an animatronic thing
I have something called intermittent explosive disorder and I relate so much with Roxy, having this disorder means that I get way to angry over the littlest things and will lash out, but like Roxy I am aware when I’m in the middle of an episode and I feel horrible after, so much so that I sob after each one. Roxy knew what calms her and told us how to help when she gets in a mood, but in the end gave up and put her mask on. Roxy is now probably top 2 for me now, I see a lot of myself in her.
I figured out that with funtime chica, you don't have to give her the cupcake. You can just move the cupcake from left to right to keep her from ever getting into your office. Also the mystic hippo game worked fine for me Spiff just has potato brain lol
Baby's model seems a refurbish from the first game. Maybe around the mouth? Also nice to see her open. Almost wanna say that had was a Bidybab's. Still don't believe Scrap's claw was in her, tho. The Plushbabys somewhat fealt less punchable - maybe them having Minireena laughs, or the jingle as they toddle... Anyway I see three factors to Steel Wool: Princess Quest, Sun&Moon, and Plushbabys. Loads of Plushbabys. (I wonder if the yellow ones missing an eye could be referencing artist, Nanygama?)
Hearing Glamrock Freddy say, "Little Jimmy" just kind of changed my perception of reality. It sounds so heartfelt, but at the same time you can hear his underlying worry for the fate of that birthday cake.

XD

Which ending did ya get?
@@Fursona-world I got the memory ending first.
I'm pretty sure regular Baby is like 7'2" so makes sense
Yep, I mean an average adult in the games is said to be around 5-6 feet tall.
However scrap baby is enormous, roughly 9-10 feet tall
I agree! I mean the lobby where we pick our level is literally the fnaf 6 map, but there are hardly any games for it!
Same WHERE TF IS MY MAN SCRAPTRAP!
@@H2cool. I’m so sorry but I highly doubt we’ll ever see that man again considering how much hate he gets
While i am glad lefty and scrap baby got in, i was a lil sad that molten freddy and afton weren't added. I know their designs aren't as good but c'mon now they deserve a second time. And who knows, maybe steel wool can slightly modify afton's design to not be as ridiculous
I would love to see an Afton re-design
I LOVE Circus Baby’s voice lines in the beginning. It’s the perfect mix of childlike innocence and malicious intent and is the exact reason why I love Circus Baby in the first place
Hi angel
I don't know if you noticed these few things, but:
Pigpatch's eyes are more reddish, making him look high
Ballora's eyes are bigger
Carnie's teeth are wooden
The nightmare staffbot eyes don't glow
Foxy has double teeth in the very first two teeth on his bottom jaw (he has this in the movie too)
Thats about all. I will get back to you if I find anything else.
Actually, foxy has always had the double teeth problem
Some folks get motion sickness when playing in VR.
Really the portrayal of the animatronics was what i was looking forward to the most for HW2 and it didnt disappoint. I think thats Steel Wool's biggest strength in this series making the models and presentation as great as they can. You can really tell they enjoyed working on them.
I am immensely disappointed that Molten Freddy didn’t return. After how’s he’s been done dirty in every game he’s in.
he will be in ruin 2
Hopefully he returns someday, really great character, great mask design too
I'm so glad funtime Chica got her time to shine, I always found her design creepy, especially her demented little cupcake, with their needle sharp teeth and I just always found Chica generally eerie in her incarnations.
I'm mostly saying the breaker room was easy, as with two hands you can pretty easily play Bonbon audio while resetting each breaker
Agreed. Both Ennard and Baby looked awful in Help Wanted 1, and they look great here.
21:04 I think they might be making him sound bored because they’re making him do a cowboy adventure instead of his true passion, pirate adventures.
Chris McCullough, Foxy's VA, has confirmed that he was not approached at all to reprise Foxy, and that this is a new VA
Vanny could literally have a whole game with the amount of cut content she had, oh wait SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A WHOLE GAME ABOUT HER!
If animatronic therapists don't exist, they need to.
also worth mentioning is that Glamrock Freddy mentions he has no sense of taste so Chica's obsession is even more worrying
@yeahman20 OK that's what I thought.
@@drawingdragon No, you're right.

The game wasn't really introducing any lore, just going back and confirming some or clarifying some
Something small I noticed is that while Glamrock Chica jumpscares you after getting just one order wrong, Shattered Chica gives you another chance.

Gah. >.< That's- oof. I assumed it WAS the same voice actor and that he just was having an off day.

@@jellosenpai959That doesn't feel like Chris to me. In fact, everything you just said is probably a greatly misconstructed lie, considering none of it tracks with anything. Not blaming you, just saying you got baited.
At this point, Roxy and Gregory should never be within 50 meters of one another because he is not surviving the inevitable encounter
I’m pretty sure they did reference the ballpit. One of the injuries he can have is “ballpit accident” if I remember correctly
They didn't want to pay the Foxy VA, is my head canon.

Glamrock Freddie’s wholesome himbo energy will always be a joy
The Roxy and Chika sections were gold! I remember you made a video about Ruins!Roxy having a different model/completely different face, and here it is~
The mask is so similiar to Darth Vader's, too - which makes some fun parallels between Luke and Vader's last scene and Roxy and Cassie's farewell.
"got the Michael SHAFTON" is gonna stay with me for a while, God I love your sense of humor
@@Theonly_z_Official yeah maroon would be nicer for the design, but idk I feel red would be better for this just cause I feel they were making it bad on purpose 🫤
Very true on that first point too
I feel like Ennard could’ve been done a bit more service. His bossfight from SL was iconic for how difficult and stressful it was, along with how high the stakes were for both parties involved.
Here he seems very toned down, probably due to being the first intro to the Office levels. I wish he got faster as the night went on, and if he spoke like he did before.

Maybe that's how she normally gives out ice cream? Or maybe the death claw is under that glove?

It definitely says something when the best father figure in your franchise is a robot bear that immediately takes care of a child you’ve only known for 6 hours 😂
But in all seriousness, this game could’ve still had a bit more oomf and extra polish, but I was still very pleased (and in some cases, ecstatic) with how some of the animatronics were handled in this game!
Still not sure about some of their final decisions, but hey, this felt a LOT less rushed than Security Breach, so I’ll take it
Agreed

In Help Wanted 2, it seems like Steel Wool has made quite a lot of improvements of the animatronic designs of the characters compared to how they look in the Help Wanted and Security Breach. I wish I had VR headset because this would be cool to play in VR. I guess I'll wait for the flat mode version of the game when it eventually comes out. Since the first HW game got a flat mode (no VR) version, then it will be no surprise if HW2 will get one, too.

If Monty wants to be the star so bad, he would've killed Freddy. Him killing Bonnie doesn't make sense. What would his motivation even be?
@@sophitiaofhyrule It's not easy to skip several pegs on the hierarchical ladder. But if you aim just high enough, it's much easier to attack the tippy top.
@@sophitiaofhyrule Furthermore, Monty often misses his performances. It is clear he doesn’t want a more “powerful position”. Things like Green paint on Bonnie’s chest can be planted and faked, but motives can not. Vanny or some other villain has reason to eliminate Bonnie, Monty has no such motivation.
@@salt_factory7566Why does everyone forget the fact that the reason he misses performances is because he keeps getting broken from the catwalk not because he wants to.
@@Articfoxgamez If he were really that hungry for the spotlight he would’ve found another route to the stage and planned ahead.
Spiff had difficulty with the eyetracker because he forgot to turn the thing on in the first place.
Definetly spinning it around in my head like a microwave does)
And I love the fact that Steel Wool put so much detail into the game that you can see cool arcade machines with completely original names and theming as well as actual contracts inscripted on the back of candies. I would talk about the arcades themselves but this comment is long enough :')
Thanks for coming to my ted talk, once more.
I'm going to be hearing Supernova's voice in my head whenever I see the DJ now. XD
I’m gonna be honest carney looks like he’s straight out of fnaf AR
