Note: I am aware that there is a type of paint called tempera, but if you listen to the Sun line that I provided in the video, he is definitely saying "spilled tempers". Does that mean that the line was read wrong or that it was a typo? Personally I think it was a typo, because I don't understand why Sun would say "Tempera" instead of paint when it wasn't lining up with a rhyme.
"Spilled tempers" feels like a really weird way of phrasing a temper tantrum though, like, I've heard of someone's temper exploding or simmering or flaring up, but never spilling. So I sort of lean towards the misread line interpretation personally.
I don't think it was the actor misreading because he did this in a studio and he could've just been asked to repeat the line but although with the context being pottery and decoration, a type of paint would fit in that statement better than "spilled tempers"
I feel like Nightmarionne is one of those characters that would’ve gotten popular in a different timeline. Like, if he had replaced Nightmare in the base game and had been given more screentime along with unique traits, people would’ve taken more of a liking to him. Although I guess him being mostly ignored is not unexpected, when all Puppets in the series are nowhere near as popular as they should be. Not even the OG Marionette can match the popularity of someone like Foxy or Roxanne or Freddy, to speak nothing of the Daycare Attendant who got a whole fandom for themselves. Which is a bummer, since I adore the Puppets and would’ve loved for them to get more recognition.
Exactly the Puppet’s been my favorite for a very long time when I learned about the fandom and understood it finally somewhat all the Puppet resembling characters are usually tagging behind Nightmarrione idk exactly I want to learn more about him but he is cool
Yeah but that was just naming an otherwise unnamed character, which isn't *really* a reference, but this is a reference, just an eager egg text where if you know, you know
@@TheSoapontheWii360I don't think it really even had a real name, it was just called that in the files Of course the same applies to The Artist Commonly Formerly referred to as Shadow Bonnie, but the Key Smash was funnier so they just kept it as its real name
I honestly want to think some guy at Steel Woll just really likes Nightmarionne, and is sneaking in a bunch of little references to him. And I hope they are happy with how many they sneaked in.
Nightmarionne isn't cannon in fnaf4, his first cannon appearance is ucn(where he was even voiced) This leads me to the conclusion that cassidy/vengeful spirit looked at the Nightmare animatronics then at the puppet and after seeing that the puppet doesn't have a Nightmare counterpart, made up their oc (Nightmarionne)
Yes it’s confirmed Nightmarionne isn’t canon but I think it was retconned into him being canon that probably would make more sense why he appears in UCN
With Nightmarrione inclusion in UCN even though It’s apparently not canon, considering that Afton is dead in UCN….The Same can be said…for In SB, I’m not saying Gregory is dead….I’m saying It can said as a metaphor that we are near death meaning near 3 Animatronics that will Hunt and Kill.
I honestly think if they DO actually do something with nightmarione(which could happen because of fans) that it’s gonna be a part of Charlie. Like all of Charlie’s anger than she pushed back manifested into one final agony infested creature. And personally I think it could be interesting idea. A way to make a irrelevant character more important, a way to deal with Charlie’s fate after being trapped in lefty and just an interesting concept.(a better concept then the blob that’s for sure)
@@darkpain2452 I mean that’s true but I feel like that would be strange seeing as none of this is really Charlie’s normal actions or behaviors. Like hiding the plushies and painting the staff bots phases

i thought the same thing, nighmareon i think atleast is an anagony manifestation of charlies grief, taking the place of the puppet in the worse ways, a husk controlling a bunch of wires tangled together
Regarding the Daycare Attendant's song lyrics - I could be wrong here, I'm not claiming authority - but I always thought "spilled tempera" referred to "tempera paints", a common type of paint used in childrens' crafts. I used them a lot as a kid and they were ubiquitous in art classrooms in the early 90s. It seems to me that would make more sense than spilled tempura or spilled tempers.
I agree, it definitely seems like since it's talking about dried clay in the previous line and it's referencing another craft supply, tempera paint. I don't hear anything "s" really for tempers.
As I said in my above comment abt exactly this, I love that they stumbled into being ACCURATE while still being WRONG lmao. The typo is def a typo-- They just ended up saying something that COULD be construed as right~
Yeah you’re right. I looked it up when I first watched a play through and figured that’s what they were saying. Tempura is spelled different anyways. Spilled tempers is a stretch to me.
The idea of the puppet becoming a figure of death with a nightmare version of itself is really interesting as the puppet is a life giver. Their voice in UCM is really great the design is great as well. The whole nightmarrione plushies being in a lot of places in the pizzaplex and the one hidden during the mimic chase has to mean something.
I’ve been thinking about the “fazbear entertainment made the games” idea (not that I take it too literal) with nightmarione. If the company wants to fictionalize everything, then made a spooky dlc character that’s distanced from their ACTUAL robots I bet they’d love another way to make everything seem fictional. That was always my guess for why they’d have games/plushies abt him; he’s like a corporate creepypasta
That’s actually a pretty fire idea, kinda like with Minecraft and herobrine if Mojang killed people lol. I am going to believe this now from here on out because it’s hilarious and kinda practical 🤣
Since Puppet is represented as a being that gave the gift of life to all animatronics, i like to see Nightmarionne as a representation of death in the FNAF franchise. Not as a replacement of Nightmare itself Nightmarionne isn't the character that is gonna be the character on the spotlights as the main prot/antagonist. It is just there, watching you, standing near the whole time.
Unrelated but heres a hot take: I think the fan interpretations of golden freddy being a literal god capable of teleportation and other abilities is false. Why would Cassidy, of all the other victims, be more powerful just because shes more vengeful? In fnaf, strong emotions, like agony can manifest into possession of objects, but thats it.
True, but there is something that allows Golden Freddy to manifest itself in places even when the animatronic isn't physically there. Even in the FNAF movie we see it's not chained to the pizzeria (and while the movie isn't canon, it kinda shows how Scott perceives the character)
Well there is that theory that golden freddy is Cassidy and Crying Child so maybe its that??? But yeah I agree there's never been any clear explanation on what abilities Golden Freddy has if any
I know 1000000000% that the fnaf movie is definitely not in the same timeline but why would they give golden Freddy teleportation powers if it wasn’t based on the og games
Because that's how spirits work in almost every mythos across the planet. The angry spirits, the mean murderous spirits, they're always the ones pushing you down the stairs, throwing objects at you, possessing you, influencing your life, physically holding you down, ect.
@@sonotfetch This is what I believed at first too but I realized that the evidence ties to Crying Child possessing Fredbear, not Golden Freddy. Fredbear being the original with the purple accessories, Golden Freddy being post-bite Fredbear that was changed to black accessories. But Crying child doesn't really possess an animatronic, he's sort of pseudo possessing the plushie of Fredbear when he died. Cassidy and Crying Child were connected for a while, but not just because of the Golden Freddy suit.
Haven't finished the video but oh my god, if the books actually decannonize the crying child, I NEED to hear Matpat screaming about how much that changes, cause literally what is happening with this lore rn?
I've gotten to a point where I simply cannot keep up with the FNAF lore like I used to. Been going so strong since 2014. I miss the original simplicity in its concept, none of this interconnected lore to the books - but only sometimes, none of this body snatching, mimicry and faz-goo. More of it now is just a headache. I loved the video, though! You're one of the only sources that I can use to keep tabs on what else is coming to the series, lol. Keep it up!
Same. I've been following the FNAF lore since 2014?? And yeah, I miss when the story had mystery, a certain simplicity, and room for the fans to pad it out themselves while being chill about it. Now it's too complicated and people's headcannons are being taken too seriously
Personally, I just think Nightmarrione looks cool. He worked just fine as a one-off character and had a neat design, but the fact that everyone keeps screaming about how this non-canon Halloween character is somehow important now despite NEVER being important in even UCN, has gotten really annoying. Like, why NOW of all times would this character have any relevance to the story, and why Nightmarrione of all characters? If they were going to make any of the Nightmares important, surely, they would've picked Fredbear or Nightmare, right? Then again, Scott chose to make Jack-O Chica part of UCN's main roster and relegate Nightmare Chica to Dee Dee; so, what do I know? I'm also SERIOUSLY hoping that they don't reveal Nightmarrione to be Mimic because it not only erases Nightmarrione as a character like you said, but it also tries to make Mimic even more important and special despite him being anything but. Like, people are already trying to convince everyone that the Mimic is Glitchtrap, Burntrap, Charlie, and Baby. Are you really willing to believe that Nightmarrione is also crammed in there too? FNAF can get away with a lot of things, but there's only so much more this poor camel can take before its back breaks.
steel wool is bad to set up stories, serious they mess up, security breach, do you know fnaf furry rage, show vanny as one final boss, its because she is the mastermind, she planed the entire game of security breach, but where is vanny in the security breach?, at this point I don't even sure anymore what fnaf is about it, fnaf its like abyss of weirdness more than coherent mystery, the best could come out, crying child and vannny are hunting each other, for like forever, for them is just a game, all drawing of gregory are memories of that happened, all the ending did happened, like game referred everything as been a nightmare
@@darkpain2452idk, I’d say steel wool is alright at setup, there was quite a lot of lead up to Vanessa. The problem is they suck at payoff and prefer to just use whatever cool new idea the writers room has that week.
I feel like the descriptions using pronouns for the animatronic characters is referring to the animatronic character themselves rather than accounting for the soul inside. I'm pretty sure it's pretty much confirmed Charlie is inside the puppet but descriptions for UCN describe them as a "He". Animatronics also seem to have personalities in line with their characters rather than the children who inhabit them.
@@leothebrat2048 He's not really possessed, though, he just has her imprisoned. At least I assume. I used to think Charlie was controlling him and that's why he can attack Mike, but that would make him totally extraneous. So apparently, he's just a fidgety, barely functioning thing that's also a danger.
7:59 Nah, I'm with you on this one. If someone asked me to give a specific detail about any of the other nightmares (besides color), the best I could say is that Fredbear has a stomach and Nightmare is see-through. I could list off most of Nightmarrionnes design right off the bat.
something i could never shake off my mind is how nightmarionne's tentacles are the end of the very first security breach trailer, like he was suposssed to becrowling around but then he isn't
Would love to see more of Nightmarionne being revealed to be Shadow Freddy/Nightmare in a big and huge major role. I wouldn't genuinely be surprised for him to become Mimic but I like him more of a separate character from Mimic instead as Mimic is shown to become more of his character.
Okay, this is only tangentially related, but I am so frustrated by how the fandom just forgot about the shadow animatronics. I am convinced that the shadow animatronics are the results of the "multiple and simultaneous springlock failures" that were mentioned in (I believe) FNaF 3. In all honesty, I haven't kept up with theories besides MatPat's (and soon Tom's), but I know that once the Crying Child got chomped, he completely dropped this theory, forgot about the shadows, and assumed that it was referring to the Bite of '83. But that doesn't make sense at all to me. Yes, little baby Afton's tears would've wet the springlocks, making them unstable, HOWEVER that applies to when it's in SUIT mode. The springlocks specifically keep the suit safe to wear, not keep the mouth open in animatronic mode. Since the springlocks weren't active at that time, the Bite of '83 couldn't have been what Phone Guy was talking about. Plus, Shadow Freddy is Golden Freddy, and while Shadow Bonnie isn't Springtrap, his model didn't exist yet. The fact that there are mysterious shadows of the two springlock suits, as well as some mysterious failure that ended their usage, is one hell of a coincidence. Sorry for my rant under your comment, you just reminded me of this and I needed to get it out.
Call me crazy but I've had a thought, maybe Nightmarion _was_ cut from SB, but not in like, an actual character way, around the building we see all those cables and stuff that look like the Puppet's limbs yeah? So what if at some point they were considering something I guess like that tree from the books, but like a big computer hub thing that leads all the way around the pizzaplex, and at that hub is a main terminal entity, that has a box, and a display, and that display shows an entity that's basically the Puppet on it, and it runs the building's systems and that, and as you go through the game, it starts to Shatter like the animatronics, the cables wear and start just turning this icky black colour, and the Puppet starts to loose its colour, until eventually it fully corrupts, and becomes it's Shattered form, Nightmarion, and instead of the Blob trying to grab at you or sleeping in the basement, it's a freed bundle of wires from the building, attempting to make a physical form to carry out the whims of whoever the hell's in charge...I have no idea where I'm pulling this from but _I_ think it makes sense. I also haven't slept for like 17 hours so, there's that too :T
It will always be nightmarionette in my heart (though it is kinda funny how Scott had to settle for mid for such a silly reason as a character limit lol)
I’m personally a big fan of the theory that nightmarion is a sort of Grimm reaper, and that the plushies represent the constant threat of death within the pizzaplex
Honestly, I kinda like the idea that Vanny/Vanessa was just a HUGE fan of the VR game, before she got Vanny'd and that's why she painted the staffbots to look like Nightmareon, cause it was her fav DLC character. And like, that's it. LOL
A glamrock puppet inspired by nightmarrion would actually be a really cool concept! Given that the glamrocks are more geared towards teens, having one with a design somewhat reminiscent of kiss (the band) would actually be really neat!
I’d happily watch an updated version of your old puppet video, it’s always fun to talk about the puppet and videos don’t come up about the puppet very often anymore
Know I realise that horror games. Fnaf especially, have amazing character designs. And they can look genuinely horrific but are wasted in context of the story
My personal headcannon is that nigtmarrione is just a representation of the nightmares in general(+Halloween update ones). Seeing as they weren't in fnaf 6 (I think, correct me if I'm wrong), they may still be kicking around, and the mimic may be trying to bring them to the pizzaplex as a part of his Afton cosplay. Again, though, it's just a headcannon
So, just to refute the idea that Sun's subtitles meant to say "Spilled tempers" real quick. It might not be a typo (Unless confirmed by the developers) and possibly was meant to be 'tempera" as in tempera paints. It's a water based paint which is more opaque than watercolors, has a matte finish, works well with other materials, and widely used for craft projects. It's called "poster paint" as well. They are cheap paints, so I can understand why a child's daycare would have them around for craft projects. So "spilled tempera" is simply spilled paint, and there's a possibility that the voice actor just said the wrong thing. Especially since tempera is not how the breading is spelled. Tempura is the breading. Edit: fun facts on Tempera Paints: Technically, to make them all you really need is a pigment and egg yolk and it is likely one of the oldest paint types still used today as it was used in ancient Egypt. There are many famous artworks from before the 1400s, which was around the times when oil paints were introduced, that were made with tempera paints.
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 I 100% agree that a mistake was made somewhere, and it does sound like the voice actor for Sun is saying "tempers". I love the video regardless! This was just a small thing that I know too much about and thought could add some context for those specific subtitles as well.
I thought Ozone already made an amazing video essay on Nightmarionne. So I'm very excited to see what you have in store with your analysis on the character, especially with the new elements in SB and Ruin !
@childeofepickness3738 Ozone never disappoint with his theories in my opinion. I like how more and more FNaF "modern" theorists offer new, interesting visions on the Lore, like @NotRealName NotAtAll
13:22 "Look, there's only one omnipotent, all seeing man who can cast judgement on people and is believed to exist even without anyone physically seeing him... ...and Nightmarionne is no Santa Claus" But could he be Krampus? Hmm?
Have you seen the movie yet? I didn't wanna get spoilery as I recall you hadn't? But anyhow, without getting spoilery, I think the singular piece of Mike lore in the movie that is intended to apply to the games is there's a strong implication that Mike is the one having the Nightmare dreams, not Crying Child.
I haven't, but I wouldn't equate the movie lore to the games. It's like comparing the Sonic and Mario movie lore to those games. It's a different continuity made to condense the games into a theatrical story.
@@notrealnamenotatall2476I think that it completely is a different universe like the books but you should watch it for the Afton and Emily kids parallels
Nightmarionne is actually harder than fighting Nightmare. Once they show up in the night, the music box starts playing so it actually makes it harder to hear when Nightmarionne is moving around.
@@DestoroyahTheOxygenDestroyer I’m not saying they are better or nothing. I’m just pointing out the music because it wasn’t mentioned in the video. Like Nightmare all you want.
@@DestoroyahTheOxygenDestroyerWell Nightmarionne could be another Shadow animatronic coming from the Agony of The Puppet while Nightmare comes from Afton's or Just another form of Shadow Freddy Just like Nightmare
Let's be honest, CC was supposed to be the Puppet, but Scott decided to retcon it to reference the books (so people would buy it lmao) I really don't get why Scott doesn't like using the Puppet, such an cool and seemingly important character just does nothing of worth in all media it's in...not as if it appears much anyway (it's not in the movie neither the books) Maybe someone at SW has an tentacle fetish, with is why they keep shoving Nightmarione everwhere
I feel it's because the Puppet is ESSENTIAL to the lore of the games especially. Almost all "parallel universes" in FNaF's history have one thing in common, which is that The Puppet is either absent or plays just a minor role, but in the games, the Puppet is probably THE most important child spirit besides Golden Freddy. I think it's a way to make the parallel universes more disconnected from the games, and thus, prevent overlap with the narratives (not that it matters anyway, considering some people still think Frights is canon to the Games)
@@kamiwriterleonardo6345 not really sure why excluding an character would make the universes more separate, it would be like swapping William for like...the Mimic in the books/movies, just weird Also, how the hell is Balloon Boy on more stuff than the Puppet and Baby
I would need to hear a good explanation for why CC dies twice before I would believe this theory. And "he just survived the Bite, lol" is not acceptable, because he clearly didn't. So how he ends up dying outside a Freddy's as FNAF2 indicated is a big question mark. The only way this would make sense to me is if he was already the Puppet in that FNAF2 scene, and that kid outside is just a random kid who has no relevance to anything, and the Puppet jumpscare is just a coincidence. That's quite a lot to buy.
@@damkylan3 Tbh I never felt that death was important. literally could just have been used as a random ass kid to add to the story. However, maybe I'm just biased because I actually like the idea of the Fnaf 4 child being the puppet. Like, it really fits and makes them have a lot more relevance than just the "first kill"
My guess on the merch is that it’s in line with the Pizzaplex’s whole… nostalgiabait-ish thingy? Like, with how it’s so aggressively 80’s themed and all that, it’d make sense for them to have merch of older characters for nostalgia reasons, and I could see them making seasonal/themed limited edition merch of them to sell even more. The Nightmarionne plush being a Halloween limited edition Puppet plush sounds like something they’d do
The hottest take?! I didn't even think mine was a hot take to begin with! Love the video, by the way. I really like Nightmarionne, and I think it would be cool if he was given more time to shine. Maybe not in the games, but a standalone story in Tales of the Pizzaplex could do, kinda like Count the Ways did for Funtime Freddy in Fazbear Frights. I also wouldn't mind seeing gameplay vids from you as well. Maybe you could stream, like, Help Wanted 2 in the future or something like that.
A theory I saw by someone by the name of Ozone was that Nightmarionne is the Grim Reaper of the FNaF universe, which I really liked as an idea. It parallels with the Puppet being the one that supposedly gave life to the animatronics, with Nightmarionne, the physical incarnation of agony and death, being the one to take it away.
The way that I have always thought of it is that the Nigtmarionne is like an evil spirit made to torment William. It is the evil reflection of his biggest mistake. The reason that it would be non cannon for fnaf 4 is that you probably play as michael and for him Nightmare is a better fit, given that it represents Fredbear. In security breach it was obvious that Burntrap actually being the mimic was a retcon due to bad reception, so in the base game it would make sense for nightmarionne to also be there so it could torment William, and it wouldn't appear to us as the player since it has no reason to bother anyone except for Will
This is a weird theory idea I had, but I wanted to say it. Some peoople, myself included, think that Nightmarionne started out as not canon, then it broke the forth wall to make itself canon. Our evidence is FNAF world, where it's the only character, besides scott, to have the move Forth Wall. It's odd and meta, but with the theories about Nightmarionne being the god of death and stuff, it makes sense and I actually fully believe it.
While I know that you're right about the typo because he does say "TEMPERS"-- Just saying-- Tempera, spelled the way it is in game, is also a type of paint. One commonly used with kids in day-cares. So I love that they stumbled into something accurate while still being wrong lmao
tempera is actually a type of paint usually used by children so i think sun was actually saying spilled tempera fsdghfjks tempura with a u is the fried stuff.
my take is that he is present in the security breach games as the plushes. that is it. he is watching gregory and cassy with the plushes. THAT IS THE EXTENT OF THEIR APPEARENCE. anyone who says contrary is just wrong
Nightmarionne is still my favorite animatronic. I got introduced to the series with the Nightmarionne teaser of his shadow on the wall behind the bed and it immediately got me hooked. I was sad that Scott said all the Halloween update characters were non-canon (besides Nightmare BB for some reason), which included Nightmarionne. Now it seems like Nightmarionne has a much bigger role to play in the story, with how it had a Night Terrors level for it in Help Wanted and all the plushies of it hidden throughout SB and Ruin. Also, turn on the contrast on a picture of Nightmarionne in FNaF 4 (namely a close up in the hallway for a great example) if you haven't already, it's genuinely terrifying looking.
It kinda like the frog toys in MGS3 there are 50 of them hidden all over the place and if you find them all you get the EZ gun but the frogs have nothing to do with the story or the back story and are just there as fun little Easter eggs
I get why People Think Charlie is back due to The Nightmarrion STAFF Bot….:.but can we remember the Voice lines of Nightmarrione and connect those lines with the Plushies???????
i’m actually dying at your justification of the mimic’s existence. thinking of him as a “pitiful cosplayer” does actually make him slightly more bearable OMG MY FAVORITE FNAF THEORIST LIKED MY COMMENT 😍❤️💕🩷
Amazing video, however, I would argue that Roxy made the most sense for the attention she got in Ruin (maybe..redemption persay isn't what they had planned initially) but they definitely gave her the second most personality of the Glamrocks outside of Freddy. I 100% expected her to get a lot more attnetion.
Nightmarionette could be a dark remnant from after Charlotte died being seen by the Crying Child once haunting it's dreams (the events of the DLC, but only as a mere nightmare and not as an illusory projection of a Nightmare animatronic) soon after a long time it became an urban legend as CC told about this nightmare to other people in it's region, it is believable (for me) that after this Nightmarionette had the opportunity to become a physical entity, soon after the events of the UCN, HW, etc... Vanessa came into contact with Nightmarionette physically briefly, since this happened (maybe) it is very likely that Nightmarionette is preparing a pyramid scheme to earn thousands of dollars and open a mid-tier manufacturing company with the purpose of repopulating the Minecraft IAsworld with several Jabberwockys, now seriously, maybe he's interested in the blob, the mimic, or Willian Afton in general.
SImple idea with the whole changing illusions thing. Nightmare is a hallowed out representation of the fredbear suits insides, so what if the flipside, where they had a nightmare of just the endoskeleton inside would be a spindly looking scarecrow like puppet.
The most likely explanation is that nightmarionne was retconned into being the main design of nightmare. Hence the nightmarionne plushies in SB are named “nightmare plush”
Theory Nightmare and Nightmarionne foreshadowed Lefty. They both function the same in gameplay and lefty looks like nightmare while nightmarionne is a nightmare puppet.
What if Vanessa A. is the child from FNaF 4, and at least partly the reason why she has psychological trauma is from Night Terrors she received while growing up?
The only reason I could see for why Nightmarionne would replace Nightmare is because Nightmarionne is just more... applicable? - Thematically fitting, that's the word. Y'know, the ringleader, so to speak, of these dark reflections of Fredbear's band being the fucked-up, twisted, evil-Hamburger-Helper version of their puppetmaster (ironic), the one who gifted them life, rather than just the black bear to Freddy's grizzly. Now that I think about it... why **does** Nightmare exist? I mean, depending on who you ask or what, er, "era" of the constantly retconned lore FNAF 4 you analyze, the Puppet may or not have been possessed by the time of the in-game sections, so I understand why a Nightmare Puppet wasn't chosen from the start, but... why a recolor of Fredbear?
Nightmarionne is just reminding us why Black Licorice kinda faded away. Also would love to hear more on the BitePuppet Conspiracy! I persoanlly am very interested and as a fan of human characters getting focus I would love it! I do wonder though if you might adress these becaus eto me a theorist is at their strongest when they understand weakness, so basically don't be like Matpat and push a what if. The things I would enjoy to see addressed are - Where is Puppet in Fnaf 4? - If Bv possessed Puppet, what became of the dead kid in Take Cake? - What happened to Fredbear Plush? If you are reading this thank you so much, I love your content and it was great seeing some live gameplay with your outstanding commantary! Have a nice day or night (if the moon's getting frisky) Note!
it reminds me of Circus Baby. her plushies are all over the Pizzaplex and two ice cream parlor bots are styled like Circus Baby. but she isn't there in persona.
10:11 , Sun said "tempera" (a type of water-based paint), not "tempura" (the shrimp meal). That's why he said it spilled, because it's a messy liquid that kids play with.
The most surreal part to me is that, based on the direction things are going, I could totally see them putting some fnaf AR skins into the main story, especially the AR versions
Idk man, I just want emo Charlie because that would be great, like her just being so pissed her dad almost burned her alive and becoming an uncanon nightmare monster is just, chef kiss, the best story telling I can think off
Vanny personality is nightmarionne, she was never being manipulated by glitchtrap, she is the mastermind behind everything, all security breach is just a game for her, she is playing with her brother Gregory the big arcade conspiracy is just memories of the older timeline of fnaf that is located in the arcades ,william afton is absolute evil, he has broken all of his kid Gregory and Charlie both are broken they are in some kind of an endless game to jumpscared each other, they are just having fun, they both are insane they need a lot of therapy Gregory and Vannesa(Clone of Charlie), they both already going to therapy ........
The name "Golden Freddy" is an homage to Markiplier, it was only used AFTER Mark referred to him as Golden Freddy, in the files of FNaF 1, the name is Yellow Bear
Tempera is a type of paint often used in schools because it’s non toxic, quick drying, and washable. The batter that seafood can be coated in is tempUra.
I think Nightmarionne is just a being who lives within nightmares, they don't exist in the real world. However I think they can still cause things to happen such as the plushies and the nightmare bots. Which kind of makes them The Raidence 2.0 but this time not a moth but a backrooms entity made liquorice and nightmares.
I like the idea of Nightmarionne being just like a joke cameo, like he just appears as a plushie in very random moments idk why, he looks so funny and adorable as a plushie
Theory: There’s the two versions of Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare to show the two different spirits in Golden Freddy. Since the Puppet ends up being one (I think) it makes sense why Nightmarionne ends up being a replacement in the Halloween edition of FNaF 4
I feel like Puppet and Nightmarionne most exemplifies the idea that the Nightmares are the opposites of who they are supposed to be. Puppet is the giver of gifts, and Nightmarionne is (theorized to be) the very embodiment of death.
There is one other thing that i think is worth bringing up which isnt discussed a lot, which is the existence of him as like... a character within the universe. As in, something thats part of the in universe brand. A character that had plushies made of him. I think this factor ties back into the idea of the fnaf games being canonically games within the steel wool continuity. In effect, nightmarionne could have existed canonically as a non-canon character within an in universe fnaf 4? Maybe? Gosh thats confusing. But either way, i do think its worth bringing up because like... why would merchandise exist in such a widespread fashion if he was the mimic or something? Even if its just from his influence, that might explain the staffbot face paint, but he doesn't exactly have a plushie production line. Imo, i think theres a solid chance that hes a fictional character in universe. Maybe more overt manifestations in universe are derived from the idea of the fictional character. I dunno, i have no real conclusion, just a random train of thought
I just dont get why put the fella everywhere if they ain't even a little important. I mean, they show up a weird amount for a nightmare animatronic. Its not even a misdirection for anything, the night marrionne stuff is just there. I dont get it.
This whole video is a good example of a major problem I have with FNAF. That are things just randomly becoming majorly important to the games cannon with little to no hints or explanations. I don't mind it if there were previous clues hinting to it but when comes out of nowhere and it raises more questions than answers then I have a serious problem with taking the lore seriously
nightmarion and shadow bonnie freak me out the most, especially the unnerving jumpscare sounds with that creepy uncanny still expression, its weirdly still and horrific
Mimic1/SpringBonnieMan: Vanny (you wasted trash heap) did you paint all the StaffBots face, Nightmarionne? Vanny: Yep, a lot of them, and I think I did a good job. Idk how many days later… Gregory: What the heck are these. StaffBots: We’re the StaffBots, but actually, sort off, deadly.
I think Kellen most likely misread it while recording his voice lines
idk if ull see this comment or not but can u give ur take n thoughts on the movie ? n ur ideas for sequel etc like full over hour vid ?
"Spilled tempers" feels like a really weird way of phrasing a temper tantrum though, like, I've heard of someone's temper exploding or simmering or flaring up, but never spilling. So I sort of lean towards the misread line interpretation personally.
I don't think it was the actor misreading because he did this in a studio and he could've just been asked to repeat the line but although with the context being pottery and decoration, a type of paint would fit in that statement better than "spilled tempers"
Just curious ever thought of doing Gaming videos with commentary?
I am extremely pissed that the Marionettes aren't as popular as they should be >:-(

Thats right , but Iam fine with nightmarionne being ignored , good characters don't always get the attention
Well if you wanna get technical, Golden Freddy's name came from Markiplier as well and it was canonized in Fnaf 2's custom night.

Nightmarionne isn't cannon in fnaf4, his first cannon appearance is ucn(where he was even voiced)
This leads me to the conclusion that cassidy/vengeful spirit looked at the Nightmare animatronics then at the puppet and after seeing that the puppet doesn't have a Nightmare counterpart, made up their oc (Nightmarionne)
Yes it’s confirmed Nightmarionne isn’t canon but I think it was retconned into him being canon that probably would make more sense why he appears in UCN

I honestly think if they DO actually do something with nightmarione(which could happen because of fans) that it’s gonna be a part of Charlie. Like all of Charlie’s anger than she pushed back manifested into one final agony infested creature.

I know, but if you listen, Sun is definitely saying tempers. Maybe a reference to someone's temper boiling over.
@@notrealnamenotatall2476True! And on further thought I take it back - spilled tempers *does* make sense, it's just a poetic choice of words.
Or nightmare puppet is part of the irs
Since Puppet is represented as a being that gave the gift of life to all animatronics, i like to see Nightmarionne as a representation of death in the FNAF franchise. Not as a replacement of Nightmare itself
Nightmarionne isn't the character that is gonna be the character on the spotlights as the main prot/antagonist.
Keep it up!
I will! Thank you! 8D
Exactly I agree

Though then again Springtrap is pretty much Afton so maybe it's a little random.
Lefty is also like that, since they're possessed by Charlie but are called as "he"
@@leothebrat2048 He's not really possessed, though, he just has her imprisoned. At least I assume. I used to think Charlie was controlling him and that's why he can attack Mike, but that would make him totally extraneous. So apparently, he's just a fidgety, barely functioning thing that's also a danger.

Nah, I'm with you on this one.
I wish Nightmarionne would be a major antagonist, or at least have a villain whose appearance was based on them. Though I dunno how they'd do it.
7 hours sleep isn't bad
I always assumed his name was Nightmarionette, but it was too many characters to fit in the extras menu, so Scott shortened it.

I mean, perhaps. Sun definitely says tempers, but maybe it was a misread. Though that still indicates there was a mistake somewhere.
@@notrealnamenotatall2476 I 100% agree that a mistake was made somewhere, and it does sound like the voice actor for Sun is saying "tempers". I love the video regardless! This was just a small thing that I know too much about and thought could add some context for those specific subtitles as well.

Love the intro with "pillars of salt". Got an audible giggle from me
Nightmarionne is still my favorite animatronic.
He shows up as the plushie again in Help Wanted 2 in princess quest behind a pillar. I think he's important, just subtly.
I get why People Think Charlie is back due to The Nightmarrion STAFF Bot….:.but can we remember the Voice lines of Nightmarrione and connect those lines with the Plushies???????
And in fnaf UCN nightmarionne seems to be aware of the nightmare that Afton is going through
i’m actually dying at your justification of the mimic’s existence. thinking of him as a “pitiful cosplayer” does actually make him slightly more bearable
OMG MY FAVORITE FNAF THEORIST LIKED MY COMMENT 😍❤️💕🩷
0:05 pillars of salt pillars of salt pillars of salt pillars of salt
Amazing video, however, I would argue that Roxy made the most sense for the attention she got in Ruin (maybe..redemption persay isn't what they had planned initially) but they definitely gave her the second most personality of the Glamrocks outside of Freddy. I 100% expected her to get a lot more attnetion.
20:28 what if people started saying freddy frostbear IS relevant due to glamrock freddy getting locked in the freazer
I'm surprised you didn't mention that Nightmarrione is the logo for UCN
I've heared theroies that he is basiclly a reaper, I think it'll be real cool of him and nightmare we're just symbolic as death
Nightmarrione is the scariest Fnaf 4 character imo
True, Nightmarionne doesn't have the many unnecessary Teeth that like every other Nightmare Animatronic has
Facts, the eyes are the main thing for me but the body being like an open ribcage is also freaky as hell for me
SImple idea with the whole changing illusions thing. Nightmare is a hallowed out representation of the fredbear suits insides, so what if the flipside, where they had a nightmare of just the endoskeleton inside would be a spindly looking scarecrow like puppet.
“They’re kinda samey”
Yeah, Twisted Ones are basically diet Nightmares
AND HERE I THOUGHT NIGHTMARE/ NIGHTMARE GOLDEN FREDDY VOICD WAS MADD SCARRRY😢😢😢
At least Toy Freddy’s actually canon.
Nightmarionne is just Charlie after doing Sit-ups
The most likely explanation is that nightmarionne was retconned into being the main design of nightmare. Hence the nightmarionne plushies in SB are named “nightmare plush”
Theory Nightmare and Nightmarionne foreshadowed Lefty. They both function the same in gameplay and lefty looks like nightmare while nightmarionne is a nightmare puppet.
The marrionette is just a transmasc icon, don't worry about it.
How am I finding out about this video now?
7:06 you know, that’s what good macaroni sounds like
7:05 Nightmarionne ASMR
What if Vanessa A. is the child from FNaF 4, and at least partly the reason why she has psychological trauma is from Night Terrors she received while growing up?
Hey! On 0:19! That's me!
I mean, depending on who you ask or what, er, "era" of the constantly retconned lore FNAF 4 you analyze, the Puppet may or not have been possessed by the time of the in-game sections, so I understand why a Nightmare Puppet wasn't chosen from the start, but... why a recolor of Fredbear?
oh yeah, DEFINITELY not in Security Breach [it is, even in the ruin DLC, it's ALWAYS watching because it's FNAF's embodiment of Death]
The things I would enjoy to see addressed are
- Where is Puppet in Fnaf 4?
- If Bv possessed Puppet, what became of the dead kid in Take Cake?
- What happened to Fredbear Plush?
If you are reading this thank you so much, I love your content and it was great seeing some live gameplay with your outstanding commantary! Have a nice day or night (if the moon's getting frisky) Note!
Bro tinks he's slenderman lol
I mean if you squint maybe you can make a case for it lol@@jaxixteen
it reminds me of Circus Baby. her plushies are all over the Pizzaplex and two ice cream parlor bots are styled like Circus Baby. but she isn't there in persona.
10:11 , Sun said "tempera" (a type of water-based paint), not "tempura" (the shrimp meal). That's why he said it spilled, because it's a messy liquid that kids play with.
im asking my self why the character just exists and nightmare could be nightmarrion because death takes many forms
The most surreal part to me is that, based on the direction things are going, I could totally see them putting some fnaf AR skins into the main story, especially the AR versions
Nightmarionne is easily my favorite character. So glad you decided to cover it!
Nightmarionne being the mimic's goth phase is now my favorite headcannon
Idk man, I just want emo Charlie because that would be great, like her just being so pissed her dad almost burned her alive and becoming an uncanon nightmare monster is just, chef kiss, the best story telling I can think off
I don't get why everybody thinks Gregory looks like CC... does nobody else see CC's muscle shirt and jerry curl??? He doesn't look like Gregory!
Vanny personality is nightmarionne, she was never being manipulated by glitchtrap, she is the mastermind behind everything, all security breach is just a game for her, she is playing with her brother Gregory
the big arcade conspiracy is just memories of the older timeline of fnaf that is located in the arcades
,william afton is absolute evil, he has broken all of his kid
Gregory and Charlie both are broken
they are in some kind of an endless game to jumpscared each other, they are just having fun, they both are insane
they need a lot of therapy
Gregory and Vannesa(Clone of Charlie), they both already going to therapy
........
The name "Golden Freddy" is an homage to Markiplier, it was only used AFTER Mark referred to him as Golden Freddy, in the files of FNaF 1, the name is Yellow Bear
And i discovered sans, Upon pillars of salt
Pillars of salt
Pillars of salt
Pillars of salt
I HEAR JACKIE CHAN SINGING
omae wa mou shindeiru
Tempera is a type of paint often used in schools because it’s non toxic, quick drying, and washable. The batter that seafood can be coated in is tempUra.
"Nightmarionne is no Santa Claus"
I'm fucking crying😂
7:09 the sound of the arms actually sounds like cold chilly in my opinion.
Mimic1/SpringBonnieMan:
Vanny (you wasted trash heap) did you paint all the StaffBots face, Nightmarionne?
Vanny:
Yep, a lot of them, and I think I did a good job.
Idk how many days later…
Gregory:
What the heck are these.
StaffBots:
We’re the StaffBots, but actually, sort off, deadly.
They can’t be staff bots if they are dangerous in anyway, that would be a contradiction of they’re make up
I gotta admit. That cart WAS pretty cool.
