    boone has some monster trout. They are a lot of fun to catch if you can keep em alive long enough to get em back in the water.

    great trip! you had good results on recent trips, PB for you for brown trout and huge striper for Rocky. I enjoy your videos, keep them coming. I live in Knoxville now, but I am from Sylva NC, you fished the "Tuck" a while back. I used to live just about a mile where you started fishing.

    How would rod holders hold up to striper attached to the tracks? I want to start pulling baits in mine. I have zooka tubes on ram balls.

    • @MichaelKaal-TriFisher
      @MichaelKaal-TriFisher  7 месяцев назад +1

      The rod holders are currently use are screwed into the base of the kayak. I don’t use a track system. Whatever you have just make sure it’s very reinforced for, striper fishing.

    Awesome fish. We're you on the S. Holston side? I'm thinking of taking my kayak to the Devault bridge ramp this wwk. Would that be wise? Are there rainbows in the lake as well?

    • @MichaelKaal-TriFisher
      @MichaelKaal-TriFisher  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah, I was more on the south Holston side, but very much toward the middle of the lake. Devault should be a good place to try.

    We never used shiners before but plan on trying them what size hook do you use for the shiners.keep up the good work tight lines

    • @MichaelKaal-TriFisher
      @MichaelKaal-TriFisher  7 месяцев назад +1

      I normally use a smaller octopus hook or even treble hooks. The size depends on the bait size. You want the bait to be able to swim freely so smaller hooks are okay.
