another Koala masterclass
Thank you! ✌️
Amazing every time, you make it look so easy too! I’ve never seen anyone get down on a phone app like this, you should release a whole album of all-Koala jams. I would support it.
Thanks Ben, I’m keeping all of the projects and I might release something like a Koala tape once I’m so far in. 👍
Dude thank you so much for this, this is exactly the kind of workflow walkthough for Koala I've been searching for. You're a total pro!
Thanks man! 🙂
Also never realized the sequencer was that cool! Thanks! Sounds great!
Thank you!
that workflow just flows
Nice very impressive .. now let’s see Paul’s Allen’s workflow
Very nice. Thanks for the showing your workflow.
❤❤❤❤. Love watching you work. I’m a midi by learning the art of sampling to grow my toolbox and you sir are an amazing teacher.
Best channel on Koala
Thank you!!
Yes, mate. That was a nice one.
Brilliant. Looks effortless 😀👍
I love your voiceovers.
Nice chopping of the samples. I really like your workflow.
Damn so smooth with it🔥

Thank you! 👍
🔥🔥🔥
excellente!
Great vid, thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Very nice and thanks for showing how to import youtube audio! :) sub to your channel!
Its scary to me how you commit each loop and delete the samples you made it from, but I guess hard committing is part of the process. Scary 👻😂
It’s mainly just to keep the track nice and simple for the videos. Although it definitely comes in handy when you start to mix as you only need to get the levels right on a few elements. 🙂
Same thought.
Spooky AF lol this guys a Thug
Yeah, do it! Make decisions quickly and commit to them. Most people would finish a lot more music of they did this.. And have more fun.
It gives me a panic attack. I need to be able to edit at any level. Ultimately, I don't share my music 😂😂😂
Bought your sounds. ❤
Thank you! Truly appreciated 👍
Good technique!
Thanks!! 🙂
The importing of the audio from the RUclips screen recording at 5:23 is what I have been wanting to do. This is amazing. ❤
Yeah it’s such a good feature 👍
Brooooooooooooo!!!!
Medio medio nomas pero bueno bien por el intento y gracias por el tutorial sin hablar eso se agradece
Hi ! thank you for your videos! your music is just amazing, I just had a question, what model of iPad are you using?
Thank you. I use a 12.9 Pro 6th gen M2 👍

@@nervouscooks
It'd be dope if you made a vigeo on how to do it
I don't know how to port .psd to iOS apps
✌️
what do you use to receive the output from your Turntable into your iPAD?
What does it export as? Does it render to multiple formats?
Buttery smooth cookup my guy
how have I just discovered this?
Yessir!
The fuck you get that skin from 🔥 ??? This shit was dope !
how you recording the sample in?
How do you have your vinyl connected to the iPad tho?
Hi! Thank you for your help and tutorials! I am planning to buy an ipad (usb c). What adapter do you recommend? If I want to connect a midi controller, should it have power / ac adapter thru usb-c as well? Tks
I’m not sure what to recommend but the one I use is a Kingston Nucleum hub which has everything I need. 👍🙂
crazy
Any tips for matching/picking a tempo for a beat and sample?
Well part of my style is just doing everything by ear and I don’t worry too much about trying to get my chops to be exact to a beat as long as it sounds/feels good but… there’s a couple of ways, first is for chops.. say I have a loop of audio I like, first I’d make sure the loop is good and plays as a loop properly just on the pad using hold/loop then I’d put that into my sequencer and work out how long the loop is in terms of bar length. Then set the sequence to that length say 2 bars for example. Then I’d turn on the metronome and play the sequence and listen if the metronome is too fast or too slow. I’d adjust it until my sequence plays my loop correctly and if it’s a loop from an old record it may be a point of a BPM not an exact number, say 65.7 as an example so sometimes you have to adjust the tempo in small increments. Once I know the exact bmp of my loop I could chop it into 16 slices and if the tempo is correct it normally gets you 16 good chops that should be spaced well enough even if there are some drums in the loop although you might have to tweak them a little by adjusting the start and end points on each pad. Then you can set your project to the tempo of you drums/beat like 80 BPM as an example and then I’d play my chops in to fit this new tempo. The other alternative is for just straight up matching loops…. First set your project tempo to your beat/drums again 80 BPM as an example and get your beat in and looping preferably in the sequencer then bring in your audio loop/sample and use time-stretch. You want to time-stretch the loop/sample to the bar length of your drums/beat and if they match it will give better results like if your drums are 2 bars, try and work with a sample that is 2 bars. If your BPMS are relatively close using the examples above 65.7 to 80 BPM it should synch and not sound too bad. The closer the BPMS match the less stretching needs to be done so the audio quality will be better. Check out my tutorial videos for Koala particularly time stretching and the auto chop samurai videos as I’m sure I demonstrate some of this. I hope that makes sense. 👍
how did u get that dope background on there 🎉?
I made it, you can get them from my store www.nervousville.art if you have an 11 or 12.9 sized iPad 👍
Hello broda..Nice work 😃🙏
How you put a Vinny sample into koala???
Thanks
Nao sei se te ajuda, mas existe um app chamado radiooo, la você encontrará muuuita coisa excelente, oq eu faco, wuando encontro algo que quero, gravo a tela do celular e o aom interno, o koala sampler aceita amostras de vídeos
I used to produce and I play 5 instruments but haven’t made a beat in 10+ years. Is this good if I wanna produce my own EP
I’d say yes, it has most of the tools you would need. It’s not like a DAW in terms of left to right tracks but you can use sequences and then mix and master to finish up the tracks all in one app. 👍
love, can you share the source of the background picture? ♡ i don't find it
I make them, you can get them here www.nervousville.art 👍
@@nervouscooks is it run on Android, too?
@@drknfarido.8282 unfortunately not I only have them iOS so far. 🙂
Where's the skin from?
www.nervousville.art 👍
The fingers itching to go at the start 😅
😂😂
Koalas keyboard would be better if it had multi layered sampling. I hate that the note samples slow down and speed up on the keyboard. Lame. Great beat tho bro
Woow! Great Work, you have fucking awesome skills on the Koala Sampler!
Thank you! Appreciate it 👍
