Red Bull Dubai helipad Challenge w/ Stinson and SuperSTOL

- Well, we had to know if we could land our planes on a helipad like RedBull did. So we headed out and decided to give it a try. We found ourselves an a small turf field with the Super STOL and Stinson 108 ready to try. In the end we had fun and learned some things about excuses and humility.

Short field for me is the entire length at Put-in-Bay!
I'm going to take a guess. You fly a little faster than I do at cruise. I'm stuck low looking at the scenery. Boring a hole through the sky... You're quietly flying by at 200!

Thank you very much! The -3 is a nice plane, but I am a little more fond of the -2. I did learn to fly a Stinson in a -3 though and on the day this was filmed I was able to jump in one for around 45 minutes. Thanks for watching and hope to see you in the sky!

It's all about the fun! We chose a wet field with a cross wind and landed downhill.. I think we stacked the deck against ourselves. Next time we will get it.
