My favorite thing to do is equip someone as a mage and farm the lower floors of dungeons to regenerate MP/SP (wiping out all those Houndo’s at the cathedral and running back to the rest room for example) it’s a little time consuming but saves on using items or wasting a day leaving the dungeon and coming back.

Here's a tip if you are getting to the mid game. At the third city in the bazaar you can buy an accessory that increases archetype exp each week on watersday. I like to equip all party members with these in order to reduce the grind and you can only buy 1 per week.
If you have a character with a maxed out archetype, you use them to funnel exp to other members. Each 1000 exp they get gives you a fruit that gives 1000 archetype exp.
@@byrondejong9872 I just purchased like five of them, and wear them on most of my party when I'm farming. @@TMV420 yeah at some point it becomes faster to to keep all of them on a maxxed out archetype to farm the hero leaf fruit. However, if you stick primarily with their default archetypes, which you should initially, it's still recommended to lvl new archetypes naturally if they are of a higher rank. For example when you upgrade Hulkenberg from Knight to Magical Knight or Strohl from Warrior to Swordmaster because each rank takes progressively more exp to lvl up so a basic archetype takes around 15k exp to max, but the adept and elite versions of the same tree need progressively more. Elite tier archetypes take about 50 hero leaf fruit or 50k exp so you end up leveling them faster if you just use them even if you dump some fruits on them. The fruits for me are worth more for maxxing archetypes from other trees that you are planning to use later on since the ones that are using lvl up fast enough through some grinding. It's only better to not outright change to an upgraded version in the early game since every newly unlocked archetype will be very bare bones in terms of moves.

A tip about MAG exchange, don’t ever do it unless you immediately need funds right then and there, particularly in the early game. Once you get a certain archetype, pretty early on I might add, killing mobs in the over world grants you extra money. Very useful tips! Thanks for sharing👍 Do y’all have tips for making most of each in-game day? The time management aspect of Persona games always stressed me out.
The time management is pretty stress free in Metaphor. I do recommend spending your "free time" increasing your bonds with allies, when there available, or leveling up your Royal Virtues. (those are your personal stats like Wisdom, Courage, and so on.)
You're better off looking up a guide then because it's very dependent on how you order the things you do from the after Grius dies. That is because really influence or direct you in any direction and you can end up missing a lot of content, or having periods of too much activity in succession, which means a ton of time with nothing happening because you didn't raise the proper virtues in the proper order and now you're stuck for weeks doing poor time management so you can progress this or that social link. I get that the devs need be creative to make people do more than a single playthrough, but going in blind in any Persona/SMT, and now Metaphor, can be verry frustrating because you simply cannot know that you had to that specific thing in that specific time window so now your entire run needs yet another playthrough because you didn't know and didn't do the right things at the proper time and missed out on them.
While the Jump back, draw agro and guard combo is quite nice, the lesser part of using that accessory is that you also use up two turn icons for just that. In that sense the accessory really is a double-edged sword in term of usefulness
