That's actually a shitty weapon because it doesn't provide any increase to damage and at that point of the game you're drowning in millions. There's a weapon you can steal at last step of Neuros questline. Now THAT'S the beast you want to use to obliterate everything in existence.
It would be interesting to know how Luck interacts with the crit rate of the money attack since you can get +1 Luck every Idlesday by using the toilet in the ship
I've personally put all my points into Strength, and I still crit all the time with this build. But Luck is probably the 2nd best stat yeah. You can still use Magic if you like the mage class, it's likely just a tad weaker
Do note that weapon attack has weirdly significant weight in the skill damage formula in this game, even with stats into consideration, so for much of the game it's entirely possible for a full warrior Strohl to do more damage than a magic-specced MC with the same spell if his weapon is better than whatever you're stuck with. Same goes for physical though, ofc. On the flip side, that means in the early game, when none of your stats are big yet, even if magic makes for good weakness coverage at that point you can completely get by with strength only as long as you keep your gear up to date.
