Portability: The AirMini is one of the smallest CPAP machines on the market, making it very convenient to carry around. Its compact size allows it to fit easily into camping gear without taking up much space.
Battery Options: While the AirMini does not have a built-in battery, it can be used with compatible external battery packs. This is essential for camping in areas without electrical outlets, as it allows the machine to run throughout the night.
Ease of Use: The AirMini is designed to be simple to set up and use, which is crucial when camping. It has straightforward controls and can be connected to a mobile app for additional functionality and monitoring.
HumidX System: The AirMini uses a unique waterless humidification system called HumidX, which is particularly useful for camping because it eliminates the need to carry or find distilled water. This system uses a heat-moisture exchange (HME) method to provide moisture during therapy without requiring a traditional humidifier.
Quiet Operation: The machine operates quietly, which is beneficial in the quiet environment of a campsite, helping both the user and others nearby to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.
These features make the ResMed AirMini a good choice for those who need CPAP therapy but also want to maintain an active and outdoor lifestyle, including camping.

Tristan just bought the AirMini i’ll be taking in 40° temps. Will this be hard on my lungs with the air being cold? I bought the humidx Thought you might have a recommendation.

You might want to ask your doctor about this first. I have heard and read forums of people taking it below freezing without issue. I assume the 40° temps will be outdoor temperature, so in the tent it will be a bit warmer. You can run the tube (not the AirMini) into the sleeping bag, warming up the air. Then you can use a "Hot Hands" hand warmer type thing near the tube, which will further warm the air around the tube. Breathing cold air like this will be harder on your lungs. I would talk to a doctor first and see if using a CPAP in this condition is right for you.
