I have always loved how loyal Half Life fans are
I swear I've been a half life fan for like 15 years and only played half life 1 once, half life 2+e1/e2 once too. the universe/lore and community is pretty good and there's a lot of cool vids of the many mods that came out with them
Looking at the cod community and it switched to fort nite then back to Minecraft and now they’re basically just island hopping to which ever game the meme community chooses

Because, it is the game that no one can't be forgotten that Valve had bring us. Now, they nothing more than distribution seller for other company. Very rare to develop their own game anymore. Yes, I know Alyx is the next installment. But, I don't think it will capture the original spirit from their predecessor.

@@forthesakeofthenationalist9375 Did you have a chance to play it? I got back into gaming after a 10 year hiatus because HL: Alyx was announced. It was my first ever VR game too. I didn't watch a single lets play video or review before either. It was an unforgettable experience, one of the best of my gaming career.
The military snare, the droning synth, the "countdown" ticking. Its like time is running out as the situation has gone from bad to full on clusterfoxtrot!
I really have been into Opposing Force and Blue Shift lately. Absolute classics that I'll never stop playing.

i love how a sped up version of bust plays in parts of the sound
This music comes on at the start of Blue Shift when the elevator crashes and there's the hound eye. Epic moment with that music playing.
Ever notice how this, "Soothing Antagonist" and "Bust" have the same type of buildup and drum beat? Or is it just me?

It's really coming along, of course development overall creeps along alowly because we're a small team doing this on the side from our full-time jobs, but despite those constraints some of the areas are phenomenal to play through. We've also expanded our team recently so we're really cranking out content.
At this very moment I'm modelling the interior of the V22 Osprey with as much detail as possible.
If you look closely behind Barney.. there’s a kinda faint looking lambda symbol!

Is best music half life ever and never forget
okay, blue shift isn't as good as opposing force, but you gotta admit: Barney in vanilla half life is just your friend, but in blue shift he gets his own personality, its awesome
I actually liked blue shift more than oppfor, though parts of oppfor are really memorable.
I say BS prioritizes story, while OF prioritizes gameplay.
Nice video! But I'll have you know, Blue Shift originally had the Half Life OST instead of OP4 one, which it was on the cancelled Dreamcast version.
SONIC DASH The Nosteam (not WON) versions from pre Steampipe used the HL1 OST. Problem was that the music order was changed for Blue Shift when it launched on PC. So the music tracks played were nonsense, and didn’t fit as well as both the adjusted OP4 OST and Dreamcast tracks.
Also any Tips to find the soundtracks in the game's Files?

POV: You're a soldier who was sent in a mission you know nothing about and the plane you were in crashes and when you wake up a scientist tell you that your soldier buds died and he managed to save you and after running for a bit in the facility you find other soldiers ready to leave the facility but a random guy in a blue suit closes the gate and now you're stuck in this facility of sorts with nowhere to go but continue.

I'd like to think the 4 playable half life characters are incapable of becoming a combine soldier, since us the player are in control, they are unable to be controlled by any other force, apart from the G-Man

@@Breached18 I mean, it's not like the existing combine soldiers are "controlled by any other force" as if it's supernatural or something, they volunteered to be one and later become brainwashed.
If Valve wanted to; one of the main characters could've became a combine soldier, because volunteering is something anyone can do lorewise as far as I know.
