God for some reason I love the loop between Anticipation and Assault. For some reason it's the perfect quiet before the storm. Everything goes silent, and all you hear before the first shots of the Assault start flying is someone's IPod they dropped, still playing a simple beat... And then all Hell breaks loose.
I have no idea how Gustavo keeps doing it, but damn what an amazing track. As you said, absolutely great "level to soundtrack" adaptation, and it's just so... groovy, and while clearly getting inspiration from some past PD tracks, as some parts reminded me of Phoney Money, the overall stealth "tempo" (not sure if it's the right term to use here) of White Collar Crime, still managing to sound great and unmistakably "Gustavo". Thanks for uploading it! Hopefully once PD3 1 year anniversary hits, they will release on streaming services all of PD3 OST so far
I feel like gustavo mightve watched fight club before making this track because a lot of elements (especially of the stealth portion) reminds me of the dust brothers work on the fight club soundtrack
Your life has to be so sad to bitch around in places not intended for it. grr how dare people like music!!!! payday 3 is terrible how dare people enjoy it!!!! den of wolves is right there you sad being.
we are so blue, boys
according to this artwork, they had to kick Chains from the lobby to bring Clover instead
Dang!! Not throwing shades at Chain but i think they did this because Clover was one of the best characters in the franshise
@@christiamcruz7454 heh, not throwing "shade"
He was in a pickle at that moment so Joy and Pearl had to go help him while the rest of them went to go get Vlad’s gold.
He got arrested for trying to pass a fake 20 and then died of a fentanyl overdose
Solo gamemode portrait backstory:
Ok but Gustavo is perfect to fill the hole Simon left
nah
yah
Can't wait to see what Simon's been cooking tho. Sure it's gonna blow my eardrums, positively.
yah
Gustavo had a lot to live up to what Simon did, and he did it well. I’d love to see the two work on a song together.
Gustavo is an unstoppable cook with how he always delivers banger after banger
Gustavo automatically unlocked the blue crystal weapon charm because the game already knows he’s THE cook
The groove in stealth phase 4 and control fucks ungodly hard holy, the bass sounds so juicy
holy moly its the poison brew

Gustavo picked up right where Viklund left off, still cooking bangers
im addicted to the assault section goes so hard oh my god
do NOT replace "oys" with "alls"; worst mistake of my life
terrified, I’m gonna need some therapy after this
lol
BALLS IN BLUE!!!!! OH MY GOD
Ngl, I read "allas" which resulted in Ballas in Blue and I was gonna throw a fit.
This has that signature Payday OST feel to it in Assault, that alot of the tracks in PD2 from 2016-2018 had imo

I’m getting MAJOR splatoon vibes from this and I love it
Groovy track, Gustavo always delivers, love the Control phase
"What is wrong with you, why are you Blue?!"
This gives me a lot of No rest for the Wicked vibes
If they ever made bank heist movie like heat, Gustavo has to be the soundtrack guy
y know what, screw it, spin the track on back, and lets get funky...
**GALS IN MAGENTA**
BACK2BACK, TIGER!
I like how it has hip hop vibes cause Bronx, duh.
"very basic implementation, but tasteful nonetheless"
@@flooku987Brotha we get it you don't like Gustavo, stop being a lil submissive short-looking people
7:16 that cartoony metal hit sound is the least expected thing to hear here
This is like if Nitro Fun were asked to score Doom Eternal
If New York had a theme
Ok, this is now my favourite PD3 assault theme ever.
Pls Ovk, put jukebox in-game to play this in every map ❤
Pls release soundtrack on spotify
AMCAR in blue
Another amazing track
sounds like a mix of something wicked this way comes and evil eye. makes sense given it's the payday gang doing the assaulting this time
This is peak

Gustavo CANNOT miss
Bro is the new ist guy lol, tysm❤
I really love this song, but I especially like the part at 13:36
13:14 MY BALLS ARE PULSATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the guitar riffs sound like something Tom Morello would make
wish they would drop this on spotify
5:41 OMAGA OMAGA Saints Row 3 vibes!!!
I think it should be the 1.25 Speed version of it trust me just give it a listen
The track should be called "Back in Blue"
Gustavo is amazing. I got serious DMC vibes at around 13:00.
Its like a reinterpretation of Jokes on you/them for pd3 , absolutr babger
Clover looks way better in the Cover art than in-game. I want my money back.
she is free tho-
@@kmdost Ik but I'm still complaining
We have Simon Viklund at home.
hey, reddit is on the right, there is no gold here

You can't even take criticism that isn't aimed at you, lmao. Show some self-awareness.
@@No-vq1iv that's not critics, that's called being annoying
the record scratching or whatever effect sounds too loud. the main part is kinda tiresome and mid but 13:13 is god-tier.
I mean keep in mind where this takes place, in the Bronx so the record scratches make sense
