A lovely video, thank you! I like your friendly approach to wintertime and the cold. I'm not a huge fan of strong temperatures whether it be too cold or too hot. But if you can't change it, it's good to embrace it.
I love this video! I live in the mountains of Utah, USA. We get more snow than anywhere else in the state. I love it every year! Most of my neighbors hate it, which makes me believe that we feel joy when we look for it, regardless of our circumstances.
Lovely video! It was a perfect mini break for me. Being a winter baby, (2/29 - yes! I have a birthday this year!) I welcome the seasonal change. If you choose to live where it gets cold, why not embrace it? It can be so beautiful and serene.
Absolutely joyful. A very cold spell here in the UK. I'm in the Peak district not far from Chatsworth house. Very inspired by you're suggestions. Thanks Benita.
This video is full of goodies! The outdoor footage in the beginning was so beautiful to look at. I like the orange house and the swans were lovely. The cast iron pots got my attention and would be displayed in my home. Our cats like to drink from the vase as well so I look for thin ones. Thank you Benitta. I will make some chamomile tea and watch this again.😊❤
In the part of Canada where I live we have just emerged from a week of -36C weather. I took advantage of a beautiful morning and a friend and I went cross country skiing this morning as soon as it was light out. Getting outside is so important to managing the winter months for sure!
Snow always looks beautiful in cold climates because it's dry and stays powdery.. When you live in a temperate climate it's wet snow that turns to grey slush and slushy ice within hours. It's hard to feel joy outdoors when it's like that. Nicer to curl up under a blanket indoors. But Stockholm did look beautiful!
I was in Stockholm last week with my daughters. We had a fantastic time. I’m sure our paths must’ve crossed 😂 We went to Kulturhuset a few times as it was near our hotel (Downtown Camper) We ate in the vegan cafe there and the food was really good. We could see the top of the obelisk from our hotel window. We also went to Djurgården and went to the Viking museum and the ABBA museum. We went to the palace and it was so cold that day. Minus 21 with the windchill factor. We loved Gamla stan. We went on a boat trip and breaking through the ice was a highlight of the trip. We loved Stockholm and was so nice to have all public transport running as normal because here in England we only need to have two snowflakes and the country grinds to a halt 😂 We’ll definitely be back soon x
@@spirituallysafewe stayed at Downtown Camper by Scandi which is very centrally based and just behind Kulturhuset which featured in the video. We loved staying there and couldn’t fault it at all. Highly recommend it x
The library architecture is amazing! Ice grippers are one of the best purchases I've ever made as they make going out in Winter so much more enjoyable and means more walking too. Great video on how to enjoy the colder winter months. Canada get it's fair share of the deep freeze and it's so easy to just never wanna go out unless of course you love winter sports.

Coming from a cold and snowy yet sunny winters in Poland and living in a rainy and grey Belgium I miss "proper" winters so much! We had 2 days of snow + sun last week. But, once it is closer to -10°C, I am happy to get out and do some of the things Benita has suggested. Even snow shovelling is not too bad when one encounters neighbours one has not seen for a bit!

And one thing I need to say: Hey, very beautiful legs you have (seen them you wearing shorts) :-D
Stockholm looks so beautiful in winter. We just came out of a siege of ten days of single digit temps where I live. Wind chills were below zero. Hardly any snow at all but Chicago, Columbus and Nashville got slammed with several inches. Last month I ordered two new down coats while they were on sale. Have put them to good use.
I can't believe how much I enjoyed this video. I was born and raised in a small New England town in the US so I grew up having to deal with long winters. After college I moved to sunny Florida mostly for a job but the warm weather helped. I know few will feel sorry for me or even understand but I really miss cold weather and especially seasons. As far as I am concerned there is nothing quite like Autumn in New England. @@BenitaLarsson I was born and raised in Chicago, the winters there can be brutal. I moved to Southern California where if you want to see snow you go up to Big Bear Mountain. Winter skiing is huge over here. Alas, I don’t know how to ski. I asked my husband if he’d consider going to Chicago for Christmas, he gave me a tentative, “maybe.” There are many, many places in Chicago where you can take a stroll, visit a museum, and partake of delicious food. By the way, there’s a neighborhood that used to be heavily Swedish, it’s still called Andersonville. There’s a popular restaurant, Ann Sather there that makes the most delicious cinnamon rolls. I love your channel. You inspire me to pare down my possessions and keep my home tidy.

Love Stockholm but couldn't cope with that cold. It does look beautiful though. xx
Filming it was freezing since I had to remove my gloves but if you dress warm it’s fine😅
You look beautiful Benita and you've really inspired me.
Aww, thank you so much!
Awesome almost the complete opposite here in Adelaide Australia yesterday it was 42°
These opposites still always fascinate me!
Too cold for me i cant live there xx
I cook exclusively with Le Creuset cast iron and love it. Best investment I have ever made.
We have a Dutch oven at the house 🥘 Looking for 🍳👀
Your best advice for enjoying winter, I absolutely love: “You won’t regret it!” Huge thanks for this!❤
So shoot if you enjoyed it!
You inspire me to pare down my possessions and keep my home tidy.
it was -9ºF last week here. That equates to -22.7778ºC
Bundle up!🧤🧣
This year I will probably celebrate on the day. Other years, usually multiple days. People feel sorry for me for some reason. I love it! Thanks for the kind wishes.
Can you share where you got that lovely basket you keep your hat and mitts in?
I got mine in a charity shop but I think it’s from H&M Home originally!
I live in Canada and struggle with the cold. It's always good to get tips for enjoying (tolerating) my climate. Where did you get your “dickie” fake turtle neck? I love the fluffier, woollen ones like yours.
I got mine at Arket!
Lovely Sweden! Enjoying outdoors in cold weather is a trait of a true northerner.👍
Great tips. I love winter (though it's summer here right now😅). I know dressing all in black can be elegant, but a spark of colour would be nice... You look like a burglar! (sorry for being so straightforward)
To be honest, I couldn’t care less what other people think of what I wear. I wear what makes me feel comfortable. Feel free to wear whatever you want.
@@BenitaLarsson Sorry, I didn't intend to sound rude. Our cultures are so different... Maybe a vacation in a Latin American country would make you understand how much we love colour. And perhaps we have too many burglars ;)
Such a beautiful video ❄️ ❤ Nature at its best! Loved your tips & good luck with starting skating again. Sweet to see Bonus 🐈⬛ The library is amazing loved the architecture ❤ I too like jigsaw 🧩 puzzles. Keep cozy 😘
Thanks so much for watching again!
Oggi non c'è il sole, oggi fa freddissimo! Un caldo abbraccio da roma xxxx silvia

Hi! Please what brand and style are your boots? Also the ice grippers? Thanx! Minus 20 F here last week!😊
The boots are a local brand Sneaky Steve. These ice grippers are very similar looking to the ones I wear. Currently unavailable but there are others too tinyurl.com/2oed5pne
@@BenitaLarsson Thanx so much!
9:11 don’t forget sun cream or some kind of barrier cream!
No - we need vitamin D! ❤
How do you get more and more beautiful in every video 😱❤
Aww, thank you so much!😊
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. I enjoy the cozy, cold weather ( for a little while) It’s been very cold in the upper United States this year too..that’s why we ( from Michigan) are spending a couple months in Florida ..❤
Having the option to go somewhere warm too sounds divine!
You’ve shown how winter can be beautiful and refreshing
