George Porter Jr.!!! Love this Sugaree!! But this He Bite Me freaking rocks!!!! This is as good as it gets folks. Look forward to getting to see some live music when it's safe again.
Incredible, Marcus king reacts to the great musicians around him - he prepares himself to deliever his art as he rolls up his sleeve at 1:16:48 and just watch his face right after as the beat kicks in. Magnificently played by all artists
I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into filming and editing these videos! I just want to say thank you so much Barry2theB! I really appreciate it! For us to get to experience these fantastic musicians is a gift!
@Barry2theB - this needs to be archived at the Smithsonian and then sent to space on the next voyager type satellite. Our brothers and sisters out in a galaxy far far away will dig.
What a killer band God’amn!!! I have been in love with these guys for years. ❤️ Edit. The disco ball is such a mood setter. Also Eric’s SG sounds like thunder. I really wish I was at this show!! Jealous of all in the audience.

i just discovered this group from a review in Vintage Guitar, & personally, i NEEDED to find 'em... i'm a jazz fan, & nothing quite like it when r&b/soul/funk are the roots!! thanks for posting, & thanks, SOULIVE!!!
I dont think he filmed any of this. I think he did a great job paying for the live broadcast, somehow ripped it and saved it and has now reposted it. Nugs.TV or Tourgigs does all of these professionally LIVE WEBCASTS . I am very grateful that peopel like Barry are able to rip and share these.
THUMBS DOWN!!!👎👎GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT RIGHT NOW MAN and THINK AGAIN! I am offended!!! NO RIPS HERE!😡 I still have 5 other nights of raw audio/video footage(about 1 terabyte total) from Bowlive 7 that was captured by ME with the equipment I set up at the venue! Those that know me and have seen me out know how I roll! This was not a live broadcast and NO this is NOT a re-posted!! The work I put into these videos you could not imagine! It would make your head spin! The time, money spent and equipment I paid for is not of the average concert goer... I don’t get paid for this so it is tuff to invest my time into the editing portion due to the time it consumes. Everything about this video was captured and edited by ME! Even the thumbnail you click on! Give respect where it is due! Again, I have invested far to much of my time and money to let a comment like this slide!!! SMH... Comments like this is why you most likely won’t see the other footage... It’s not worth my time anymore and I suppose the videos are becoming to good for you to believe that one person can capture and create this... Here is your previously released live webcast from Nugs... ruclips.net/video/K2JfYZEE3P4/видео.html I used the same board feed in my video as this live stream. Mine is simply mixed better with my field mics on stage...You can actually see me in front filming with a monopod in some of the shots. My DSLR on a tripod by the drum kit on stage. My zoom H6 in front of the drum kit and my Studio projects LSD2 mic on stage in front of Kraz in blumlein array... Two other Zoom Q2n's are used as well. One on Kraz's mic stand and one on a tripod behind Neal. All that really is the easy part. Post editing is what gets you a finished product like you see. Yes with a lot of practice...Obviously I can make it look like there was a crew that filmed this using some post editing techniques. Do a little research before you type the next time...
I would of bet my life that you ripped these they are sooooo good. I did not think this would be possible with all of these close up camera angles you have. They looked a lot like the professional webcasts I have seen. I was going to delete my REPLY about but I felt it was good to keep it given your reply. You must have a great relationship with these guys to be able to put up multiple cameras on stage. I never thought something like this would be possible but you certainly proved me wrong and I sincerely apologize to you. Thank you for all of your hard work and know we all do greatly appreciate your dedication. I even looked at a bunch of different parts of the show before I posted my comment because it was sooo good I had to try to confirm what I thought. It all looks so much like the webcasts I pay to watch - I am humbled by your talent and love of the music.
I am going back and watching more of your work in this video and it is just outstanding. I am thoroughly embarrassed that I said you ripped these from a webcast. Please take it now that I understand you did everything as the ultimate compliment. I feel like a novice going in with one of my NIkon point and shoot cameras shooting video. LOL I was very fortunate to be in the third row center at Red Rocks last year to shoot a bunch of video of Marcus King
My buddy and I are in my hospitality room at work thoroughly enjoying this show on the 80” screen with two amps and 6 speakers all around us. This is our weekly live concert fix lol. THIS HAS TO NE ONE OF BARRYS BEST. UNREAL.
Horn player looks like a pimp caddilac from 1973 with those goggles. Hey you do you bro. Full of talent tho like the rest of the band. I've been listening to Soulive for several decades now, always great music. Not so much the real spacey stuff...but for soul, funk and some of the fusion you gotta give the props. So, props.
I don’t even remember what year it was that these guys changed my ear forever. If you haven’t seen them live you simply haven’t lived yet. Neal Evans’ bass patch blastin thru a 2-story stack of Mesa Boogie’s can NOT be explained. Long live the trio n friends. Can’t wait for this freakin Rona to be dead to catch them live again.
Killer modern Urbana uptown groove , the sound is not unlike a sophisticated integrated curcuit with complex interchange yet critical to the point is organic and smooth sailing seamless intersection. Which creates an incisive yet introspective dichotomy of our lives together
How the hell does Marcus find the time to learn all of these songs ?!? Between touring, and recording .. the kid never slows down. No signs of 'overworked' or 'burn-out' yet. I always knew this kid was gonna go far. I hope he doesn't do anything stupid ... like going "commercial" !!!
There are some exceptional players here. It is nice to subscribe to your individual likes while having heard some exceptional sets, it never ceases to inspire with your own good music with others around the world.
Thank you. I never miss George night at Bowlive. He's the 🐐 imho! This was one for the ages having Marcus there as well. He also played with them for the Sco show. Really hope they bring it back next year since they're taking this year off. This night was so funky it was nuts!! Can't beat them doing a whole set of Meters tunes with George! 🔥💯🎼🎸🔥
Barry2theB; thank you so much for your posting during this Pandemic!! I would go bat-shit crazy without this! Peace brother and take care. Thanks for taking care of our heads!
Barry2theB, I was at this show. Your crew captured this so well. Great mixing and production! Thank you and thanks to Soulive & friends for a fantastic Bowlive. Will forever remember.
