I have never experienced a song that gives me so much emotion, absolutely stunning and best version of this song. Whoever found the combination of vocal talents deserves a medal, even all these years later it never fails to give me chills and tears to my eyes.

I was 13/14 in 97 when I heard this. Had the cassette and I went to England because my grandma was dying so this reminds me of that time. My last day with her was a perfect day too.

Listened to this single over and over again when I was a child. It definitely made an impression on me, I will literally listen to any genre of music.
I remember buying this on cassette when it was released many years ago and I played the heck out of it. Often the originals are truly hard to beat , this being one of the few that I thought was better. Lou Reed did write some amazing songs 🪦 ❤️

Wonderful and moving song, well produced. Heather's voice up there with the best of them; I miss the 90s dance era and regret that I never got to see M People. Still have all their CDs though.
