I just picked up this exact watch with the original box and case. It’s in nice shape and running but I can’t wait to follow your video and give it a good cleaning and polishing. Thank you for sharing!
Interesting, I found one in a drawer at my Mom's house a few years ago that had been there at least 30 years. Other than missing a band, it's almost perfect, the original bezel in like new condition, no scratches, has the protective sticker still on the back. Wearing it today. I really like it. I know it's worth like $300 but I'll never find another in that condition so I kept it.
WELL DONE . I AM A COLLECTOR OF CASIO DIGITAL WATCHES AND SOME OTHER JAPANESE BRANDS . I LIKED THE VIDEO AND THE RESTORATION . THIS IS WHAT IT'S DONE . 😉👍 GREETINGS TO THE CHANNEL! . 🖐️😉
I can't find the original band at the moment, but keep an eye on eBay and I'm sure you'll find one soon. In the meantime, if you need something that will work, you can buy a generic one from Amazon. Here is an affiliate link for the band that will work for your watch amzn.to/3zraIdi Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for your video! I am curious about one thing. It appears that you did not remove, clean and regrease (silicone) the four pushers? Or maybe you just didn't include it in your video? One of them looked like it was fatigued and sunk into the case more than the other three?
I typically adjust the pushers if needed, but I didn’t do it on this watch since they seemed to be functioning properly. The one that appears recessed is actually designed that way. Casio intentionally makes them like this to prevent accidental activation, as they control the watch's settings. I hope that clarifies things. Thanks for watching!

That's awesome. I'm surprised the bezel held up. Usually it is the first thing to break on these watches. Thank you for watching!

Hello! What is this magic substance? 4:29
Hi there, the "magic substance" is a glass cleaner. Thanks for watching!
J'ai celle de mon père, mais impossible à ouvrir 😢
👏👏👏
Where can i find spare parts especially for vintage watches
I think your best bet will be eBay or local watchmakers maybe. I hope this helps.
What strap is that watch for? I need a replacement strap for W726

No regularity check with QT99 or similar? 😮
I don't have a QT-99 Quartz Tester at the moment. I plan to get one if I find a good deal. They can be a bit pricey. Thank you for watching!
May I ask where you bought the main tools in this video? Thanks, Kevin
Kevin, there are links in the description for most of the tools I use. Let me know if you can't find a specific tool. Thank you for watching!
Nice video, but polywatch does not have effect on mineral crystals.
Thank you. I agree about the Polywatch. Sometimes I use it just to clean the crystal if it has stains or stuff like that. Thanks for watching!
Could have done with putting new seals in and on the buttons
Amazing!!! Where did you get the bezel?
Thank you 😎 I sourced the bezel from eBay.
