Lucifer is still pretty strong with her near so hes not fully human hes just not immortal... does he start to heal when hes away from her? I was confused about that
He is just able to get hurt hurt by humans and human weapons.. he is still strong. When he gets hurt he heals slowly when shes around but when shes not he heals faster but I guess it depends on the wound.. he got shot in his hand and it didnt heal that fast so my guess is that the wound was too big and he got it when he was vulnerable.
I gotta say though, although I've team wanting them to eventually hook up, the show just takes two steps forward for an episode or two, and then three steps back for the rest of the season. Anytime Lucifer gets ANYWHERE near an actual emotional moment, he just screws it up, and it is incredibly annoying to watch after a while because it just doesn't feel real that Chloe would ever take the time on him romantically after a certain point. There have only been a few times where he was actually honest and didn't 'ruin the moment' per say, and those moments are great, it shows the chemistry and I believe it and root for it. And then the next ten episodes are him just taking a moment of growth, and tossing it aside (or the writers do, more so). Doing that, especially when you haven't learned how to deal with things like that, as he wouldn't for most of his life, is understandable. New experiences, new feelings, not entirely sure how to handle them. But it just seems like the writers don't think there is a show if there isn't a 'will they, won't they' and the idea of Lucifer just being this guy who destroys all his relationships with people and is so self lothing, so self centered, that any growth he genuinely makes should be tossed aside almost immediately after in order to do it over again a few episodes later.
It's still absolutely insane to me that THIS is the moment where Fox was like " You know what guys? This shit's not making enough money, let's end it, there's no way people would be mad " at the biggest goddamn moment of the show, the entire damn show was leading to this one moment, and they decided to cancel it HERE???
Interestingly - this was 3x24. Episode 55 of the show. Lucifer would go on to total 93 episodes. That puts the finale to around 60% of the show. Quite literally - the beginning of the end.
Also in s01e04 she saw his true face in reflection and ask him "Who are you?" and then "What are you?". I believe that in later episodes of first season she started investigating his powers, forms, etc (for a while) ;)

I loved how they did the reveal but it absolutely annoys me they handled it afterwards. The next three episodes after the big reveal felt deflated and like the show runners was purposefully taking the viewers for “ for a spin”.

I loved how they did the reveal but it absolutely annoys me they handled it afterwards. The next three episodes after the big reveal felt deflated and like the show runners was purposefully taking the viewers for “ for a spin”.
