Just did my first Mow of the season with them.. Amazing. The fan didn't make the full 80 minutes but I had them at 90% at the start. Im going to get a charger on my tractor and run that fan on HIGH HIGH HIGH.. the benefits were real and amazing ANC.

You have any plans on trying the new XMEMS driver stuff that's being launched? Creative just released a pretty affordable pair of TWS with a dynamic + XMEMS drivers.
I don't even like dyson products - overdesigned/priced. Miele vacuums are just better. Built to the same standards but also built to be repairable and maintained. But these are just so amusingly weird.

I'm not sure how exactly you came to the conclusion that these are the best sounding bluetooth cans (even though I agree with you), because according to their documentation and testing I've done they only support SBC, AAC, and LDHC codecs (no aptX or LDAC), and no Sony Xperia phone supports AAC or LDHC, which means all your listening has been with SBC...
But overall I agree with your conclusion, these sound great and i bought a LDHC Bluetooth transmitter for the highest quality audio experience!

Below 80% they charge very quickly. Topping off the last 20% is a tad slower. The tap for transparency is most effective closest to the front of the face of the fan compressor. I believe it uses the accelerometers to register the tap instead of touch. It is very intrusive alongside the sound it makes without playing media. Imaging overall is incredible. Daily user
So I got 'em and... holy shit. They sound astonishingly great. The ANC is absurd. The passthrough is almost lifelike. They're so heavy.
i really wish they did wired audio passthrough via the USB-C (they don't). and the chinbar is staying in the case until maybe the PNW fire season starts then I might try it out of curiosity. But they're absolutely my new daily wireless headphones.
Also i found out that they do have usb c passthrough. Sort of. They have analog Pass-through, so a type c to 3.5mm cant have a dac in it, it has to be strictly analog. Dyson sells a cable thats sold out, but i had one lying around that works.
You say you like the sound of these but have you listened to the T+A Solitaire T or Dali IO-12 bluetooth headphones?

One of the things i remember you saying is that gaming gear creators (for the most part) shouldn't make audio equipment. Fiio came out with an item that combines 2 of my favorite things. Keyboards and audio equipment. Its the Fiio KB3 and i was wondering about your opinions on it. Also was wondering if the electronics would cause any interference with the DAC/AMP inside.

Z, I guarantee this thing started by a very enthusiastic anti-covid engineer that wanted a covid mask that worked. It’s basically medical grade protection if the flow exceeds inspiratory flow rate.

Unless it filters out particles less than 0.3 microns it's not going to help and if it did breathing out of it for more than 30 mins would make you light headed. The whole mask thing was always BS

Dyson carefully makes zero medical claims. But those look like Dyson hepa filters. That would filter virus particles and allergens effectively. It would have to be pretty high flow rate to keep up with our inspiration, prob at least 50 liters per minute. Let’s see if we can get bots and trolls to comment about covid and the fact that I used the metric unit “liters”

I suspect this uses a particulate filter (e.g. HEPA filter), yes you will smell it. If you can add a chemical filter (e.g. charcoal), it will reduce or eliminate that smell.
Do you think the sound engineer for the Dyson Headphones was aware of the mask part when developing the headphones?
So the best by headphones have fans in the earcups? This is giving me flashbacks to me da’s protest that dab would never catch on because the sample rate was worse than fm. Which is fine, if your fm never gets any interference. Which it did. A lot.

Plantronics BackBeat Pro 1 so to say. in ANC mode, since it changes the sound quite a bit. And also the features for 2015!! I think they still crush 90% of the competition 10y later. Please compare them to the vacuum, cheers.
