When i feel stuck i try to do something else, something that will fill me with energies even if it is not productive at all (playing video games, searching for inspiration on pinterest, reading a good book or just listen to music or watching youtube), i know that i NEED to feel my cup first before i start working/studying or doing things that i dont really want to do but i have to.
I like to call it a pause instead of procrastination.. when I feel joy, when I feel happy, when I meditate, when I spend time in nature, and when I play , and exercise, I get so inspired. Pausing is a way of waiting for my soul wisdom.. and maybe just to rest and let go. When I feel resistance I let go. Thank you for your wisdom of what you do ! I know the word procastration is a resistant word. When I'm not in the flow I work on myself to let go and love myself where I am ❤
I constantly procrastinate, especially when it comes to video making. There's the demotivation factor and there's just me second guessing if it'll be a good video. Sometimes I'm just feeling lazy too. Thank you for the video.
Just in case you need the feedback ... I really appreciate videos like this. I have a hard time with motivation and perseverance since I have a disability and getting going is very challenging at times. So this is always a big help to get someone else's perspective on things, especially from someone who is so 'organized!'
This video couldn't have come at a better time. I feel exactly the same trying to rebrand my blog and youtube channel and I had to just take a step back and accept I couldn't get everything done. I find focusing on one thing a day really helps me to focus and get things accomplished! X
I legit find your channel so refreshing. I love your emphasis on mental health and meditation. I started using Headspace and besides my daily meditation, watching your videos is my "me time" x
This was so helpful and I felt the same way today. After telling everyone I need to be appreciated and need help with dishes and laundry. They helped me out and it became a productive evening including a relaxing one of a bubble bath, meditation and affrimations and now a relaxing peaceful sleep. Sorry that you are feeling in the slump, but I feel that you have a great plan moving forward. Right now if I could show you a photo of my kitchen, you would faint. The hubby’s not real good at picking up and I let things slide due to migraines, work, and build up. I didn’t know where to start to attack the kitchen at all. The kitchen is only one example right now. I still have Christmas things that are packed up but I have to put away. We’ve had a lot of family things going on including hosting from out of the country. Any rate, I totally understand where you are and I’m just going to try to put a dent into the kitchen. When you let something go, it’s easy for them to build up and get even worse. Just wanted to let you know that I have been totally enjoying your channel including other content you put out this week. Maybe this one just came to me on a day that I needed it the most. Take care and enjoy your weekend.
These are great tips! Time blocking in your calendar is a good strategy - particularly when other peoples priorities sometimes creep over to take up your time - you can set a strict time limit or meeting time if you’ve got the rest of your day blocked out in advance.
It's so weird how decluttering makes you feel accomplished. I seriously need to clean and declutter my classroom. I started today but need the rest of the week for it lol!!

I have been stuck for a couple of months now. Nothing is helping me at all. I am struggling with having people around me. I don’t know how to explain it, for instance I know a couple of people from my university and I am having currently 2 months holiday. We barely talk! We don’t text at all. We don’t go out. I am a very nice person. I have a lack of people and it drives me crazy. I don’t know how to gain more people, more friends. My best friends had left the country 2 years ago. Since then, I have been alone. Even my boyfriend doesn’t live here. Any tips? What can I do to be more lovely? To have people to hung out with? Hey Rachel I would really love some advice on something’s happening in my life. So last year was a really crappy year and I want to make 2018 the year. So I play netball and I have played for 7 years and I really enjoy it but last year I felt so bored and felt like nothing good was happening in my life, even getting ready for netball training was hard and I just felt so bored all the time. And this year I want to do something else I feel like I’m always on social media and just watching RUclips and always feel like I have spear time, I have tried so many sports. When I was younger I did swimming, a couple of years ago I did karate, I have played an instrument and I all enjoyed it but my reasons to all stop that was because my excuse was I don’t have time to do school work or have down time. This year I want to try something new and if I only do it for once a week I don’t care it’s something else.
