I'm doing the April 2020 Calendar, I've been loving it so far but this video is the one where I just had to stop halfway. I'm still going to do the next video and the rest of the calendar but omg, this was just too much for me. Abs are clearly my problem area! lol
Day 8 of the May calendar and it kills me having to do other videos after doing the waist whittler and beautiful abs videos but I am just so excited to be done with abs and move on to the next section.. I miss working on different parts of the body every day. I am starting to dread having to do the same videos every day and I miss having a rest day where I get to just focus on stretching and flexibility!

Trust me that doesn't mean you're out of shape I'm very active and I still had to just stop and lay on the floor multiple times during this workout. It's really hard and it's okay if you need a little break!

I love that this is an ab workout without a lot of hands-under-the-shoulder plank variations (mountain climbers, rolling plans, plank jacks, etcs). I'm recovering from a shoulder/back injury and can do these without putting excess strain on my arm, even if I sometimes have to have variations (like keeping my head on the mat). Thank you Casey!
Dani Janus I do most crunches/holds required for abdominal exercises while using one hand to support my neck (i.e no matter where my hands or arms are “supposed” to be, I’m usually using one hand to support my neck while the opposite hand/arm is in the “correct” position). This variation is impossible in the eagle arms/eagle legs exercise Cassie did here, so in that case I simply tucked my chin to my chest as much as possible (that always helps) and kinda screamed in agony.
This is really late but try to focus less on moving up and down and more on contracting your abs. Like Cassie said, "if little movements are all you can do that's fine". Proper form is always most important because it both prevents injury and is actually more effective. You're straining your neck because you're not engaging properly and trying to make the motion with other muscle groups. There will still be a little pressure but your hands are there to support your neck not make it crane more. For example, most people do push ups with egregious form because they're only concerned with going all the way down and trying to do as many as possible. Most of these same people can't do a push up with correct form or can only do a few. So don't be so concerned with your range of motion, it will improve if you just take care of your form :)
