    That's a pretty nice tool. FWIW I didn't know what ORP was good for until I learned about sulphate reactors. Thanks for the demo

      Yeah they’re much more efficient when operating in a very low oxygen environment

    I love the length of the probe cables. The Reef Factory ones were so short they're basically inside your sump.
    Been looking at this to replace all my Reef Factory gear, so thanks for doing the unboxing.

    The Last 3 days i have setup a full GHL Combo for my tank, KHD,2 Dosers, PL4 and Lots of sensors and powerbars. It was the best decision in tank life. So many things one controller can do, i have removed alot of stuff from my cabinet with seperate controllers… I would rechnend using a Controller Like this. But the downside of the Quijan is defnetly the leak of controlleble Powersokets…

      Not a fan of GHL software, but their hardware is generally pretty robust 👍🏻

      @@ParkersReef yeah the software is at the beginnuing kind of tricky. But ist pretty good from an programmers view… ist from the structure of an actual Programm… But Inhaber to say ist Not as comfortable like really optimised UIs. For myself a medicalengenering student ist Not a real probleme.

    Good overview - very limited information out there on this unit.
    I’m pretty much sold on this device. It’s more cost effective than getting all those sensors separately. It has ORP (plan to use ozone). The fact the calibration utilises the temperature sensor in addition to the probe can only be a good thing as far as accuracy goes. Decent app (assuming push notifications will work for me). Dissolved oxygen sensor would be very interesting to test out.

      Yeah I’d like to play with that big dissolved oxygen sensor :)

    Nice review 👍 I myself will not buy anymore kamoer. Tried 1 dosing pump but the app keeps logging off and it will never send notifications. The only app on my s24ultra which will not notify. 🤷‍♂️

      With all those probes in the GHL or Neptune market???

    • @jonathanstephens7804
      @jonathanstephens7804 24 дня назад +1

      @@ParkersReef Both kits come with probes as far as I know. Neptune salinity is an add on I think. My apex kit came with PH, Temp, ORP, level sensor, leak sensor. Better value imo.

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  24 дня назад +2

      @jonathanstephens7804 both come with probes, but not all the probes.
      Then there is the issue of the reliability of the Neptune salinity probe which has a reputation of being useless.
      But I agree, you can do more with a fully fledged controller.
      That being said, it’s a mute point here in australia - Neptune don’t support down under

      @Sheepo91 21 день назад +1

      @@ParkersReef I had a chat to a few of the Sydney & Brisbane aquariums, and it sounds like Neptune might be getting a supplier for Australia involved soon? Really hope so. What do you think the best alternative is for water changers in Australia?

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  21 день назад +1

      For water changers? I’d definitely go Kamoer not Neptune for auto water changes.
      For controllers, I wouldn’t touch Neptune with a ten foot pole even if they got an Australian distributor. They’ve left us high and dry before and will likely do it again
