20 MIN THYROID YOGA | A Beginner Friendly Sequence To Stimulate Your Thyroid

  • Welcome to your 20 min Yoga Flow For Hypothyroidism! This yoga sequence can be beneficial for an underactive thyroid (Hypothyroidism), but I don't recommend this specific yoga flow to people with an overactive thyroid (Hyperthyroidism)!
I will slowly guide you through various yoga poses, which can help stimulate your thyroid gland by increasing blood circulation in this area. Through flexing and extending the neck in a slow and minful way, you can directly support the thyroid gland and increase it's production of hormones [1]. Furthermore, it can help reduce headaches and is in general a nice full body stretch. 🙏 I hope you enjoy this practice!
If you need a break, feel free to pause at any time and focus on your breathing. Your breath is always your anchor. Find synchronicity in your movement and breath. Don't push yourself and always listen to your body!

I just tried this routine & this is not for beginners. This is for experienced yogis - moderate/advanced level. Please correct your title. It's misleading.

It's definitely is not for the beginner.

This is certainly NOT a beginner friendly, it gave me pain in my back all day and I'm hoping it goes away soon (even though) I was very careful and slow and avoided the extremely difficult positions!! Please try to be accurate with the title of the video next time, I never have back issues and this video gave me pain and the movements were definitely NOT beginner friendly. Thanks anyways for your good intentions but please be more accurate with what you label as "beginner friendly".

I'm really sorry to hear that Sara! I hope you will feel better soon and thanks a lot for letting me know! I know I always say listen to your body and only go as far as you can - but I will be more cautios next time! All the best!
