Hi, Lourenço! As this video came out in 2017, the camera is most likely using an older firmware version. The most recent firmware for the EOS 6D Mark II is version 1.0.5 which came out in late 2019. You can download it for free at canon.us/eph5g Hope this helps!
Hi JessDiz, Picture Styles recorded by your EOS camera are designed to be read by the Canon Digital Photo Professional software. This is a free program that is provided on the Canon website. You can use Digital Photo Professional to edit and alter RAW files and change their Picture Style, on your computer. You may wish to contact the makers of Lightroom for additional information on their software. We hope this helps.

Useful video.. but I have a question.. would the raw file change with the picture style setting? I understand it will for jpeg and also the display of histogram but what about the raw? inside DPP, if we can change the picture style setting, what is the purpose of having it in the camera for a raw file? what about exposure? would it change while taking the picture which inturn means the raw file would be different?
Hello! The picture style setting will apply a tag to the RAW file so that it may be viewed with compatible software with the change in effect. However, the original file itself is not altered in any way.
@@CanonUSA so just to be absolutely clear, the highlight optimiser and picture style do not change the RAW file data? I'm a confirmed user of light room so historically (several years with a 40D,a 50D a 6D1 and now a 6D2) I switch all of these off, as I never shoot jpeg out of the camera
Hi, Biniam! If you're unsure of how to change to the landscape Picture Style, make sure your EOS 6D Mark II is set to a Creative Zone mode. Those are the modes on the dial that are represented by letters instead of icons. Then hit your MENU button and go to camera menu #3. Picture Style will be the first option within that menu, and you can change to a variety of Picture Style presets including a landscape preset. This will optimize such aspects as color, brightness, and contrast for landscape photography. Hope this helps!
This is an excellent video. Mr Winston is superb at giving a clear and understandable explanation of this camera. Many thanks.
Canon 6D mk2 has been my the best choose for my streetphotography. It's really a great product.
Marco Milani the camera is lovely, I just bought one and I have no regrets 🙌🏾
Its like listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson giving a camera tutorial

Why no 5D mark IV tutorial video's on this channel?
How to set the camera so that you don't have to press the AF Point Selection button before you adjust your point with the wheel ?
Use the quick options button which isn't that quick, or set up your AF on button to AF spot selection. I use mine for back button focusing.

Nice
Sick blur on the Audi logo...
The background music score is a real distraction .. the voice quality is so good that there was no need for such Hollywood audio effects..
"maximize image quality"
*switches to Nikon.*
Maximize image quality? Buy a Sony... .
Yeah, and the 4K is great for keeping you nice and toasty in the winter.
Sony fanboy!
that was lame-
