It goes beyond what is discussed here. I knew what I wanted and I was willing to go to whatever lengths necessary to get it. Full responsibility falls on ME. Not on the victim for how scantily clad she was...not on the "addiction". All of these things are external factors...I have no control over them....but I do control my choices, and I allow myself to be carried away by my evil desires. This is the cycle of sin...I must Conquer that before I can be free from my addiction.

This is so needed in churches, youth groups etc. today. We have a porn, molestation, rape epidemic and I truly feel drugs are another coping mechanism along with it. I am on my second marriage to a porn addict. He doesn't know how to touch, communicate, kiss...As a child I was raped and molested by 2 different porn addicts. So my trama is making me physically I'll. I need a place to heal from all of this

It still oains me to hear men categorize my husbands sexual bettayal of 38 years as an addiction- just like alcohol or drugs. THE SEXUAL BETRAYAL THAT HAPPENS WITH SEX ADDICTION SETS THIS APART! It is uniquely and violently damaging😢
