Or just do an entire DYKG video on the Yakuza series
@@otaking3582 yeah with Yakuza Fan narration that would be great 😊
Holy fuck, that Japanese box art of Perfect Dark is really pretty.
I also love the US version, but wow I wish I knew about this sooner. That's desktop material.
Nice to see the great clement getting some representation in this vid.
I’ve been waiting 6 years for facts on WWF No Mercy
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon has always been my number one favorite N64 game of all time. I've always wished Konami would release another one.
Goemon's Great Adventure was fun in a lot of ways but it had a lot of really frustrating gameplay issues.
Love this RUclips channel and would love to keep seeing you guys grow and thrive In this algorithm
5:54 Lee Musgrave looks like what happens when Harold doesn't care about hiding the pain anymore.
For anyone who thinks Japan was never as sensitive as the U.S. was during the Columbine school shooting and 9/11, this video proves you wrong. Hell, the very reason why the Mudoken's decapitated head was sugarcoated in the Japanese release of Abe's Oddysee was because of a real life incident that happened in the same year.
9:45 ish - there's another cart based update; Turok Rage Wars' multiplayer campaign cannot be finished if you have the original black cart - but if you have a GREY cart you can win the broken mission.
I wonder what would've happened had Nintendo kept Banjo for themselves, would we have had multiple more entries in the series or would they have done Banjo-Threeie on the Gamecube and then just left the series to rot away for the past 20 or so years? *cough cough* F-Zero *cough cough*
I have a feeling Retro might have ended up having an interest in it and potentially reviving it like they did with DKC. It'd be really interesting to see that.
Yes, calling them "X-files" is a VERY sly reference. Almost went under the radar
Hey Dazz, always enjoying the videos on here. Hope to see more of you guys again soon!
i actualy heard that farting guy in the toilet a couple of times back in my teens - didnt know it was THIS rare lol.
Got the notification
Okay…and?
Cool story.
"One game we want to talk about wasn't so highly praised" *proceeds to show WWF No Mercy. DUDE what planet are you from? Who writes these scripts? Maybe your country thinks its shit but everywhere else No Mercy is highly regarded to being one of if not the BEST wrestling game of all time! And thats a FACT!
Big facts!
Not well recieved? No Mercy is considered one of the best wrestling video games of all time...
Ok so I'm not the only one. Literally cited as the best wrestling game of all time
I guess they're just talking about the save-data bug. I remember it being a huge damper on an otherwise hot release, some of my friends were pissed about it happening to them and others wanted to wait until they shipped the fixed version.
@@HelpTheWretched They clearly said that the game wasn't highly praised, not just the bug. Pay more attention, dude.
that end card small talk caught me off guard
I'm sure someone better than I would know, but is Okama indeed a slur? It gets used pretty frequently in the Yakuza series even by the crossdressers, which if it were a slur is something I doubt Sega would do.
Does anybody else REALLY want Mystical Ninja to make a return? When Goemon was released as a mii costume in Smash Ultimate I was really shocked. But also excited it might mean a comeback might be on the way. So far no dice, but if that and/or Snowboard Kids ever got a reboot I wouldn’t be upset at all.
I did not know that Nintendo were the original owners of BK! Damn. To think how different things would be if they got to keep it after the Microsoft acquisition.
"It's a cook book! A COOK BOOK!"
If you ever make a music-related DYKG video, you gotta try and get Scruffy to narrate!
another scruffsriber I see?
Thank you for that random trivia at the end ,never played any fallout but the moment you mentioned the serve man dialog I instantly knew what the reference was . I had even forgot that I randomly watch that episode years ago. Thank you all for the videos you have put out over the years
Man, it's still worth reiterating that WWF No Mercy is the best freakin' wrestling game ever.
After all these years, RUclips suddenly suggests DidYouKnowGaming again...I see how it is, RUclips...
10:08 MARRY ME PLS SCULLY - GREG
Great episode! I was basically interested in every point of trivia here. Some of my favourite games and game experiences mentioned.
Funny enough, a couple weeks ago i went on a Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie kick on game pass. And that poop sound happened when i went into that bathroom area, no lie. Had no clue it was rare lol
Did you know: The Theme for the Banjo-Kazooie level, Mad Monster Mansion, was inspired by the BeetleJuice motion soundtrack according to Grant Kirkhope.
The N64 was my childhood!
Diddy Kong Racing is so hard to beat 100%
WWF No Mercy was a critically and publically acclaimed game despite the save data issue.
Oooohhhhhh they said it mystical ninja goemon my favorite game I referenced it on the pod
So the last fact was that Resident Evil on the N64 spoiled Resident evil 1 for players who never saw it….Then immediately after the Random Fact spoils “To Serve Man” for anybody that hasn’t seen it.
I mean, insofar as neither counts as a "spoiler..."
4:50 not really shocking to be honest, dirty humor in those types of games is often subtle so that kids often don't get most of the dirty jokes. It may be weird for us adults, but upon closer look, it's actually quite genius. It's how Insomniac managed to land so many dirty jokes in most of the Ratchet & Clank games without getting into trouble.
No the translation is perfect, "weirdo" works.
1:46 This is not an error, you have to unlock Waluigi and Daisy in story mode (aka 1-player challenge), they are not playable from the start in that mode.
sponsor is 2:37 to 3:55 , thank me later
for some reason, I lol'd @ 00:04
why tf did mario jump into this block FACE FIRST three times lmao
If I'm correct...that was an old commercial featuring Mario...a "got milk?" commercial. He would then drink milk in it and then suddenly he would grow and climb over the bricks lol
Lmao the Twilight Zone episode mentioned sounds so silly.
No Mercy is a highly praised and beloved game. Known to be the best wrestling game ever, dunno why it’s considered “not well received” in the video.
I had to go back in the video a few seconds to make sure I heard that right. "Not well received" is something I don't think I've heard anyone say before about No Mercy.
Awesome follow up video! I always enjoy this channels content!
“A RARE event” …no pun intended
In Battletanx Global Assault. If you get 50 kills in Multiplayer. Text from the developers appears on screen, talking about the working conditions at 3DO.
Daaaang, Nintendo could've kept Banjo-Kazooie?! They probably would've did the same thing with it as Rare, since it was basically a better Mario 64. lol
Lol. did you know, people like no mercy?
love the ending
Thanks for choosing my submissions. I'm not really into Nintendo, but if I found some information about Nintendo, that's very interesting to read, I'll submit it to you guys.
If you guys do DYKGaming Extra on SNES games, could you pick the facts and Easter Eggs from the underrated games, please?
