in case you where wondering what the trap displayed in the video needs for building i counted it : 72 pillars, 19 ceiling, 87 walls, 7 gates (6 for the leadway thingy and 1 for traping it),1 ballista, 2 foundations and 1 ghostbusters weapon (the charge lamp for you uncultivated scrubs)

Guys... I love nooblets but you only need 4 small Dino gates, hazard suit, decent rock drake, bear trap, glowpet, and metal shield and bam you got yourself a reaper. (If you let the baby eat you with your inventory full of meat it gets you through baby stage w out you having to check on it) just an extra tip

You dont even need that much. All you need is a rock drake, bulbdog and a magnifying glass to know when u gotta stop hitting it and turn off the bulbdog's charge light. dismount for a sec and remount, the queen will grab u and impregnate u off ur mount. U sure as hell don't need massive fucking giga structures like the one shown in the video.
Yeah Nope yeah I prefer to use a trap just incase something dumb happens because you never know when playing ark but now when I get reapers I use a trap with a floor so it can’t bury itself and you can get multiple tribe mates pregnant off the same one.

You make such organized and professional videos that you plan out and the effort you put into every guide really shows through...keep it up you always set yourself apart :)

how many times do you have do you have to get on to get a full imprinting? I think it's still too little of a time, increase it to 12 hours and we can talk Wildcard, it just forces you to be a slave to the game. I don't have the time be online 24/7. The biggest Dino which is the Giganotosaurus has a maturing time of 14 days and you have to keep them fed, which means getting on to feed them every 4-6 hours which is something i am never going to have time for.

friendly advice, a baby reaper will attack anything without that pheromone gland so best bet for containment is to trap it in a shed or a 2 wall high pen.

Pro tip to add on this, build the birthing house as a one by nothing 2 walls high with a storage box filled with metal or stone. Walk in with as much meat as you can carry then close the door behind you and popcorn all the dead weight you put in the box then pick it up. Don't eat a pheromone gland and let the baby reaper kill you. It will glitch all the meat and extra weight in your inventory so it can't run around in baby stage since you can't command it. Spawn back in to claim it, then come back when ever you're comfortable and move it to a trough to finish raising it. One of the easiest tames to raise imo as it practically raises itself. Side note thank you nooblets for the channel, I've been watching you since day one on island when the game was 20 bucks in alpha. I just watched like 10 of old videos to reminisce over the good old days of flyer movement speed, random imprint timers, and no cryopods 😂 god damn this game has come a long way. Side side note. If you're playing with others and build a trap over foundations, the reaper can't bury under and you can all get pregnant by the same high level one so long as someone stays in render of it. Gl on your adventures survivors!

Well that's a unique way to tame/rise a creature for sure.
At first I was thinking what do you mean get impregnated by a reaper queen.
Good to know even the professionals run big things into traps saying, "Crap! Crap! Crap!" the whole way. XD
My version of the nooblets trap: make it 6 pillars shorter lengthwise, I made it 5 pillars tall instead of 4, I invert the walls because, when I come back she would occasionally be buried on-top of a ceiling and then escape the trap, so walls are on the inside of the ceilings then use foundations so she can't burrow and disappear, to force her above ground after I leave render range and come back I use a large bear trap on top of the foundation and it will "pull" her out of the ground I have around 23 reapers fully grown and ready to go and it's all thanks to Steve Nooblets!!! Couldn't do it without you mate!

Of course it's not in an area where the queens spawn, I never said it was! It's in the test area next to my base (On My TEST SERVER, that I showed on my other vids). As I needed some where quiet to test the mechanics because it took DAYS to test all the trap designs, never mind the loads of queens I had to spawn in to get everything working right.
But as you saw in My video the mechanics worked fine, just go to the area I showed on the map, find a quiet spot, clear the area, and you will be fine ;).
I didn't think I had to explain EVERYTHING to some people, but for him I guess I needed too. Does he really need me to point out every obvious thing? Well how about these things he missed….
"How come I have a metal base when I haven’t farmed anything yet?"
"How come I have a 275 drake when I haven’t hatched a 150 drake egg?"
“And don’t even get me started on the griffin some people have seen” lol … Well…
...Because I spawned all that shit in on my test server :) because no-one cares and none off that matters. The only thing that does is showing working mechanics, and that they WORK!
But let’s cover some of the points he says in his video.
1/ He said my trap had a high rate of failure.
Yet showed NO proof of this, not a single video of the trap not working.
IF he did not get impregnated, I’m betting he didn’t do it right, and stood to close to the trap which I said in the video twice not to do.
So please do supply all the video tests of where it failed, I would like to see where he stood. (Anyone can say something doesn’t work, but they have to prove it first otherwise they are talking shit.)
2/ He said several people contacted me, but got no reply.
As far as I can see, only TWO people posted a comment on my trap vid.
One saying “You’re a fake and it’s all lies” lol, but not explaining any points why?
And the other made up a conspiracy theory about how I got someone else to spawn the queen in.
Well that’s Bull, because I spawned the queen in myself and left it around that area, so I could tame it when I was ready.
Oh and my Comment Notification’s haven’t been working for almost a year, that’s the only reason why I didn’t reply to those 2 people, plus many more of my real fans.
3/ He said “Several people” contacted him about why the trap didn’t work.
Well NONE of them contacted ME about it, don’t they think it would have been a good idea to contact the creator of the trap first before bitching about it?
4/He said they couldn’t use my trap because everything around them kept killing them.
The Reaper Queen is an end level tame, If people do not have the means to fight the reaper queens or clear the area, then they shouldn’t be trying to tame one. Anyone can watch a vid, but if you are not ready to attempt this, then they are going to die.
Everything else is not worth a comment.
MY THOUGHTS ON HIS VID.
It did make me smile how he missed the point of my vid, but mainly I just thought it was just sad and pathetic, and made himself look like a conspiracy theory nut, when like all of you, he could off just asked me if I had spawned the queen in, and I would have said Yes. But that’s wasn’t his plan, he wanted to make some click bait drama to try and get in more subs.
He said the odds of my trap working were 50/50 … So is Worked then YES!.. which is it? Because in his vid titled it said “Setting you Up to Fail” and if it works, that doesn’t sound like a fail.
But don’t take my word for it, read all the comment from all the people my trap worked fine for in his video comments. lol :)
I have now watched his Reaper Queen vid and for someone who likes to “Keep it Real!”
1/ If people couldn’t use my trap because they were getting constantly attacked, then why didn’t they just build it where he shot his video? Because he didn’t get attacked for the entire length of his video? (over 11 mins)
2/ Why did his video get edited at 8.16? Something go wrong by any chance, and he tried to hide it?
3/ If he’s so real, then what about all the “Ascendant” stuff he SPAWNED into his hot bar and inventory which most people wouldn’t have to use. That’s not fake at all is it?
4/ He said in his own video that he tried His trap a couple of times, but one of them didn’t work! So that’s only working 50/50 then?
6/ He has full water But no means of getting water? (No canteen or water mushrooms) Magic or admin cheats?
5/ Then finally his complete misuse of the word EASY in his Impreg video title. I showed me getting impregnated easily in a SINGLE Take, he did not, why not if his is that easy!
Oh it’s easy to pull peoples videos part, it’s just that most people are not that pathetic to do so.
Maybe He and his Several fans who couldn’t work out how to use it correctly, they should have asked me first before deciding to make a sad video to bitch about it. So yer gg lol.

nooblets.com I think the problem is that you are really good compared to others so people might fail and then complain that the trap is defective or it doesn't work without trying more times. Also some people might not know where the queens spawn in the radioactive area and build in the wrong place and thats the only problem I see with the video (no one get pissed[I should have put this at the beginning, sh*t]please)

this was super hard XD, like the moment she grabbed me random carno spawned and started bitting me after she dropped me i took healing potion and was hiding behind shield while nameless started to spawn again after like minute running around with shield up i managed to get of cliff and use glider to escape, but still hell of an experience :D
Turn the light on the bulbdog off! The light weakens the reapers and your bulbdog's light was on, that's why it attacked and killed it. You could see the smoky outline coming off the baby reaper which shows you it's being weakened. That's why it wouldn't stop freaking out and started attacking you when you picked up the bulbdog with the light on.

For anyone looking for good coords for (mostly uninterrupted) taming by a Plant Species Z seed, 66 58 is a pretty flat trap spot where I’ve trapped four Reapers at

If you have mount powerful enough to take on queens like imprinted high level spino, rock drake etc you only need it and a charge pet.
And since you have to kill queens to get glands you probably do.
But many people probably don't and have to kill queens in a group so this tutorial is great for them.
But if you have a mount that can solo queens you can use it instead of the trap which costs a lot of recourses and can't be moved.
Firstly have a charge pet turned on and attack the queen like you do when killing it, wait until its really bloody and turn off your pet using emotes for 5 seconds and see if the queen glows red. If not turn your pet back on and bite her a few more times and turn pet off again. If she glows red dismount and then mount your drake/ spino (preferably drake) quickly. If you do that the reaper wont let you get away since it thinks you mounted to escape and it will grab you off of your saddle and impregnate you. I would put my mount on passive so if you get of it won't run around. You don't have to mount it again you can just stand on the ground and get grabbed but the reaper might attack your mount instead or you might get attacked by enemies nearby and hazard suit offers little resistance
But I would grab a riot shield just in case anyway since you want minimum damage to your hazard suit but just in case take 2+ sets.
That's how I got impregnated a few hours ago and its super easy. Hardest part really is not killing that queen accidentally. You can take a magnifying glass but you can't use it on the back of a spino but you can use it on a drake but I didn't so I had to turn off my pet twice before reaper had low enough hp. This resulted quite a bit of nameless interrupting.
I advise rock drake because it has fast torpor depletion and it doesn't get knocked back as much as other creatures do plus you can use it to travel in the red zone more effectively and it can warn you if a reaper is close meaning you can't accidentally miss it. And if things go south you can use drake for a quick get away.
I got impregnated by my first Queen on genesis 2, I tanked it with my tek pistol on kill mode and kept shooting until it was at 1500 health, and surprisingly enough, the tek pistol survived and so did I, and now I’ve got a reaper king.

It’s almost 2021 and I recently started playing Aberattion and I can say with certainty that these are not very difficult to take with health brews, a rock drake, and good hazard suit. Not too hard, just be careful, make sure you have an ascendant shield (found three on the surface) and just stay close to your drake.

I know the area well and he had it cleared then had someone spawn the reaper queen as he was running cus they don’t appear like that at all. They always come out of the ground after a second or so and when you are out of reach they go right back down.
Billy tha Kidd you have sheeps all around the map tame 3-4 high lvl Spinos and just leave them down there till you build you can put walls behind ballista so nothing can surprise you while shooting at Queen..Easyest way I saw till now..unless you turn God Mode on like 90% RUclipsrs ^_^
Talking shit will get you banned so get your facts right and try asking me first, noone else spawned the queen in as I was on my solo server by myself, I spawned it in because queens don't even spawn there!
If you cannot farm that much stone, which is easy, you are not at the stage you should be trying this. Picking fault about pathetic thing does not make you look good

So I just got to say, this trap works 100%, for your first time make the pillars wider out she can move around, learned that the hard way. You wont get it the first 5 times, nooblets is a expert but it works.

I think it should be important to note that you need to have player resistance at normal in order for it to work it took me 3 impregnation animations and 7 Reaper queens before I got the impregnation

@nooblets.com idk if this still works ornot, but you could put foundations under the queen trap and when she impregnates you this stops her from burrowing away allowing for multiple impregnations on multiple people

There’s a advantage to play as a female In ark if you put all settings to the lowest like size and pick female you have the smallest possible hit box to everything you are harder to be sniped and stiff

Me and my tribe mate built the trap today and tested it out, it definitely works. Only we didnt use balista we just used our Rock Drakes to lower it then I went up to it with a shield waited for the sniff and got impregnated, then I went up and down the rivers in the Mushroom forest killing all the fish, sarcos, spinos, karkinos and any alphas I found while riding my Basilisk and got its max levels fairly quickly (Spinos are great exp). Just make sure you have a lot of glands or the thing will try to eat you until its Juvenile. I have it locked in a sealed chamber so I dont need to constantly keep the buff on.
So... TLDR - It works very well.

Steve I love your videos they are immensely helpful and amusing and it is sooo relaxing listening to you speak I'm a late visitor to the Arks but thanks to you I'm doing way better😁 on a side note if anyone isn't aware you can use this design with foundations and after she impregnates you she can no longer burrow and stays there even after logging off, teleporting away or leaving the area, and coming back(singleplayer obs), however she will be burrowed but can't escape when you come back, simply remove 2 foundations then aggro her to surface replacing the foundations as she surfaces while blocking with your shield now you have infinite babies 😁 use this to get the queen with the LVL you want and harvest for babies with stats you want 😄

Hey nooblets i first started watching on your best solo base video and have more or less stayed caught up on all your vids and really appreciate the hard work you put in. Do you have any tips on how to keep ark fresh? Ive tried mods and everything but i prefer base game with multiplayer but cant stand official and all the unnofficial ive invested hundreds and hundreds or hours in just end up being wiped so got my own server and it gets boring to play alone on it. How do you keep it fresh?

I have no clue how you had no trouble from nameless when I try this they just nonstop spawn in and it just over whelms me to where I have to leave or die plz explain how to keep nameless away

Just queens kings don’t drop any.
Alpha Kings on the surface have dropped pheromones just like queens, but given how rare those fukers are, Id say you'd have better luck with queens since they spawn more tham Alpha kings
