Yes Reaperqueens take alot more damage in the toxin when you have a lightpet on them and also there is a bug where reaperqueens/reapers/basilisks appear invinsible when they come out of the ground out of your "sight", you have to get out of render and get back in render distance to have them appear visible

You know you can use the Shadowmane cloaking ability to hide from everything down there except the tentacles, right? As long as you don't get hit by an attack, you can sneak past everything.
if you wanna sneak past everything use a desmodus instead, an invis shadowmane is very slow and you will get gooed by the tentacles causing you to uncloak

I've built traps that are supposed to trap the queens after impregnation, but they appear to be able to burrow out thru the foundations in that rockwells innards area.
I was looking at another monitor (playing ARK of course) when Syntac said "Look at it, look at it, you're not looking look at it!" and I turned around feeling called out, then laughed to myself. I am binging the everloving crap out of all of these videos.
I was wayyy different for my first R-Reapers, instead of using the acid, i trapped it with your trap, then used a buffed shadowmane to lower it. That way i could farm the queen, and it worked wonderfully! I would reccomend it for your future fight with rockwell. And another little secret, its pretty rare to get the same colored baby twice from the same R-Queen, since it randomises with each impregnation.
Love how to this day, I’m fighting with Ark for a purple R-Reaper and you... you just squandered the beauty you got. Ya’know, I’m glad to have any reaper, but I would cherish the bloody hell out of a purple one. 😆
There has always been a bug where if you die with a baby sometimes you lose it, your supposed to keep the baby but sometimes the game bugs out and you lose it.

So (assuming I'm understanding this/theorising correctly) the colours do actually kind of make sense - the red is the chitin/keratin parts of it's body. On a baby, this is the entire protective exoskeleton, on a juvenile+ the exoskeleton has been 'shed' and chitin/keratin is now limited to the spikes. It's quite an interesting system, since this actually makes perfect sense from an irl organic perspective but less so as an in game coding one, which I assume is an indication that somebody on the dev team put some thought and love into this design. Which I hope makes the disappointment of losing the red body feel a little better. As for losing it when you died...not going to lie, the immense amount of sympathy I felt for you in that moment may have been somewhat hidden behind how hard I was laughing, but that does also make sense from a lore perspective - since it's now established (as of extinction, post aberration release) that when your character dies they ACTUALLY die and literally respawn with a new body (unlike in most games where the in game explanation is "we'll pretend that didn't actually happen, try again"), it would also make sense that this freshly acquired body doesn't have a Reaper gestating in it. Both cases feel like someone has put more thought into 'realism' than can reasonably be expected in a game where you're a human with an unlimited supply of fresh bodies aboard a half corrupted ARK Spaceship which is transporting a self contained eco-system of dinosaurs, purposefully genetically engineered creatures and autonomous machines with animal level intelligence coded into them. Which I adore and makes me love this dev team all the more.

To make life easier when hunting reapers, you can stay on your mount and the queen will pull you off the mount and stick you with her love barb. Just toss the shoulder pet off once you're ready to go and then lure the reaper away. Don't do it on foot.
I'm actually glad we saw Syntac lose the baby after he died, because it's a good learning experience. The wiki page definitely says you can die and it won't hurt the baby, I probably would have nonchalantly gotten myself ripped apart not realizing that would also kill the baby reaper
Dying shouldn’t kill the baby though. I tamed an R Reaper not very long ago, died and still had the baby. In the end better safe then sorry anyway and probably best not to die

No its a bug the reason you respawn with the baby normally is because in one of the Alien movies Ripley gets cloned and the embrio of the xenomorph queen gets cloned in her body with her, as reapers in general are a refrence to that series and based on the xenomorph which is why whenever you respawn the embrio respawns with you

You couId use the "Happy FamiIy" mod. lt offers an item that can give you 100% imprint no matter how fast the baby grows up. lf you don't want to do this you can use a very low "imprint intervaI"(l think that is what it is caIIed) and also increase the "imprint amount"(l think this is what it is caIIed. It should be higher than the intervaI). lf you put both up to a ridiculous amount you shouId be abIe to imprint after a few seconds and get 100% on the first imprint. There is aIso a setting on how fast babys wiII Iose inprint. Make sure to change the settings so that they wiII never Iose imprint. Then you can turn "maturation speed" up without worrys.
I do not have this DLC, but this whole area reminds me of the shivering isles and the gardens of flesh and bone from Oblivion. Gardens made quite literally of flesh, bone, and breath; biologically impossible but through the method of madness and in madness, the method. A fever dream few walk into prepared, and even fewer come back from in one piece.

What server settings should I have on my singleplayer world to make breeding, egg-laying, baby growth and imprinting on maximum speed?
I noticed that I could bump up the baby growth speed by a lot, but then there's no time left to do any imprinting tasks. I'd like to get 100% imprinting always
In the first episode of this series, Syntac included a link to his breeding rates. Those work pretty well.
You couId use the "Happy FamiIy" mod. lt offers an item that can give you 100% imprint no matter how fast the baby grows up.
lf you don't want to do this you can use a very low "imprint intervaI"(l think that is what it is caIIed) and also increase the "imprint amount"(l think this is what it is caIIed. It should be higher than the intervaI). lf you put both up to a ridiculous amount you shouId be abIe to imprint after a few seconds and get 100% on the first imprint.
There is aIso a setting on how fast babys wiII Iose inprint. Make sure to change the settings so that they wiII never Iose imprint.
Then you can turn "maturation speed" up without worrys.

I do not have this DLC, but this whole area reminds me of the shivering isles and the gardens of flesh and bone from Oblivion.
