That big ass remote bojack had was hilarious
lol
A promise of mutual friendship destined to end in tragedy made at "Griffith" park. How fitting
Haha the donkey is holding up the “Don’t be an ass” sign.
0:21 is that bojack’s rehab therapist in the left, the one now with a husband?
He looks nothing like his therapist
@@Bluemarz9 Actually if you look at the design of Dr.Champ, he looks remarkably similar to that horse. Perhaps the design helped inspire Dr.Champ's?
@Jerrycreate88 Given the context of the social judgement surrounded by being gay, it could be someone who was heavily shamed on his sexuality and resorted to homophobia in fear
As interesting as that'd be, I think that character is supposed to be a donkey, hence the wordplay with "ass" being underlined on the sign he's carrying.
Dr. Champ wouldn't be as old as that guy
Anyway else notice that Bojack drank A lot of beers during the show
Boy, The '90s were a surely different time, eh?
0:46 - When your friend gets back together with their toxic ex and complains to you about it
0:06 - whenever someone uses my full name.
i think if bojack kept in contact with herb even after being fired, his life wouldnt suck so much
The protest sign that reads: It's Horsin Around not Horsin Around! (In a GAY way!) Broke me
«lude acts with an other/otter man” 😂
Literally anyone: Hey can I talk to you for a moment?
Me: 0:06
Party train or fun circle
How precious ! I can't wait to watch the next part and see Bojack actually stand up for his friend !
It's gonna be the best, I love good endings-
Oh.
0:01 I know this is out of context, but why is that remote so big?!
I am genuinely surprised that being gay in the 90s was a big deal
Lot of STD scares, but they also forgot how everyone slept around in the 60s-70s too but blamed gays
That hasn't changed.
Homophobia just adapted, from the clear sunlight on surface to the bottom of rat holes called RUclips Shorts Hate channel
You can blame ronald reagan i mean the aids crisis
@@timothytosser288 wasn't that in the 80s? This part took place in the 90s
@@TheAllSeeingEye2468 the fear continued after the 80s
This explains so much when he kissed Bojack
That "Shiiiiiiiiiit" burping style is so on point. Shit Indeed.
If only Bojack didn't look back and stood the ground defending Herb
Didnt realize the reflection of Bojacks personality from that portrait
I feel like bojack could of had it both ways, the scandal would have died down and he has acting credits so he could have played this right.
SPOILER:
In one of the last episodes Angela (the executive that wants to fire Herb) admits that she was bloufing. If BoJack had put enough pressure, Herb could have keeped his job.
@@claudiarey699 I know, but when you think about it the show could have just stopped eight there because of protests, plus the staff and family of the actors, these are all factors for the show not making it.
@@lking1540 True. Sometimes suport of the crew is not enough for a show if the network thinks is too controversial or theres enough people hating on it.
This shit still happens
So like, in the painting, is he on an actual bear skin rug? How is that legal in their society?
@@big_slurp4603 lol I forgot about that. I guess there's a farm for mentally challenged bears to turn into rugs then.
There's fake ones
In another episode Todd protects a chicken from being taken to a slaughterhouse. I think homicide of animals for animal consumption and use is legal in their society which arguably makes everything even more ironic.
@@mobydick3769 That was the funniest episode besides the sex industry meet the parents episode.

0:26 look at the people in the background and tell me that the horse isn't the therapy horse from pastiches
0:24 hey isn't that dr champ holding the "don't be an ass" sign
I think it's a donkey? Hence the "Ass". But that would be pretty funny if it was him.
@@katietaylor8314 I'm pretty sure it's a horse
Interesting, but doctor champ has a boyfriend, right?
Okay, wow, I just re-watched that episode and it *really* looks like him. He certainly wouldn't be the first angry homophobe who ultimately came out of the closet.
pretty sure that dr champ would be much shorter than the horse in the protest
Circle jerk was the answer to that question.
It's nice to know that Bojack is very supportive of LGBTQ+ individuals especially with Todd who was the first person who came out to Bojack as Asexual🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈💜🤍🖤
LGBTAQ is an political movement, not nature - it completly destroyed reputation of non-hetero and people being sick with trans/intersex
0:06 when my mom calls me down to “talk to me”
Lol, he was with an Otter.
Whats the deal with the otter?
@@AdachiSimp an otter is a young fit but hairy gay guy... Like a bear but skinny.
@@Whosaskin plus "with an otter man" is another layer to the joke
The sad thing is that herb is not angry at bojack because of the sitcom but because he never called him in 25 years
What I noticed (after the trillionth rewatch) is that in Bojack's room, there are Keith Haring-inspired paintings in the background. Keith Haring was openly gay during the 80's and advocated for safe sex through his art. He sadly died of AIDS in 1990.
I like that by putting Haring-inspired artworks in Bojack's room, the viewer is informed / foreshadowed on Bojack's stance towards homosexuality.
When your mom yells your name angrily and loud

Bojack, Sen. Clay Davis called. He wants his catchphrase back.
@0:23 -- EASTER EGG: A character who looks like Paul F Tompkins, voiced by Paul F Tompkins.
I think herb loved bojack (in a sexual way)
Hmm idk about that, I always felt like he saw bojack as a brother. I never felt any romantic attractions at all between them
@@Jenna-in4br he did try to kiss him, he saw Bojack as a friend someone he trusted for sure but it’s possible he grew to develop feelings for him as well. That or he just got caught up in the moment
I know this might be a bad time but I love herbs shirt
The Keith Herring paintings in BoJack’s house are a nice touch.
I just caught that the conservative protester said the phrase "nubile pre-teens."
Jesus, that's dark.
