It is a crime under the Public Stores Act 1875 to apply or use the "broad arrow" without permission from the Crown. Had been in regular use since the 1300's to denote property or goods bought for or with crown assets or to denote ownership of items like wagons, ships or any part of a larger assembly. HMT in India gets away with using it because the broad arrow was devolved into use by the colonial governments and upon independence continued in Australia, India, New Zealand and Canada to indicate crown involvement e.g. an Australian navy ship which was a ship sailing as a crown flagged ship would use the broad arrow on many parts of it, HMT produces issue watches for the Indian military hence why they are allowed. In the US it is still possible to find ancient trees once marked for ship building but never used bearing the broad arrow earmarking that tree for a mast or planking but the war of independence interrupted the use of by the British forces and the tree carried on without being felled. It was a very heinous crime to fell a broad arrow marked tree whether in the UK or in the colonies if you were not given permission to do so by a Ordnance "chit". I remember the broad arrows on my old army kit back in the day, still got some of it including some WW2 era ammo boots with deep engraved broad arrows in the sole instep, inner sole, upper inner liner.

Snap, I'm wearing my full bronze Tandorio sterile "dirty dozen" today :) On a tan rally strap, NH38 inside, sapphire crystal and screw down crown... very rugged piece to wear :)

3:38 - Thank you for the explanation! I was wondering what that "bird foot" logo was. I saw it on the Omega, but it's also on tons of watches on Ali. I was wondering why all these different brands were putting the same logo on their watches, even though they weren't replicas. I've been kind of thinking I wanted some kind of field/combat watch. I think when I bite the bullet (pun intended), I'd rather have a dial that has both 12-hour and 24-hour numerals. Kinda completes the military look, IMO.

I prefer this over the Baltany to be fair, I also like the two-colour lume. A sterile watch is always nice nowadays and many Brands overburden a watch with too much branding. After all, it is supposed to be a field watch and take some beating :)

Militado works in spanish, as the participle of the verb militar (militar is also a noun), or related to the armed forces, granted it is not a common word nowadays.

Just had my second Antonio Banderas Kinetic delivered, this one is the all metal version as my first is a hybrid plastic and metal kinetic, needs a new stem and crown but a damned fine Seiko group watch for the silly price of £10 :D

Same glass, same caliber, but smaller (36mm, -3mm diameter than Baltany). And more convenient. It looks better without any brand logo. I have a Militado D12 with cathedral hands and il looks like a perfect copy of the real dirty dozen.

'Militado' isn't that bad of a name. I saw a brand on Ali recently called *Welly Merck.*

Yeah, I've been noticing them. I was going to get one, but it seemed a little pricey for what you are getting. I might once I catch up a little. I have a whole bunch of stuff on order now.

Thank you for your review, i like the Dirty Dozen look, but on my wrist it would look really tiny, almost microscopic. To bad the leather strap was do short, that is a dealbreaker for me, because it looked so nice.

I have a 7.5 inch wrist and always had a hard time never to go below 38-39mm. I recently bought this watch on a whim because it was on sale for 38usd and it actually looks great on my wrist. I'm now looking into some more 36mm watches that I was afraid to buy in the past. Unless your wrist is over 8 inches I'd say try it out.

And as far as the leather strap they have the option to get it on a black or olive green NATO, which I opted for.

Very small. That would look lost on a 8 inch wrist. Nice.
