Concoct torture tests for the Casio G-Shock GA-100 and destroy it, recording it for posterity.

Real Test, I lost my watch at work, it fell into a Plaster mixer, after 7 hours of mixing cement and sand upon washing the mixer out for the night I found my watch, the band was gone, the glass was scratched as can be, BUT the WATCH WAS STILL WORKING, Casio for life for me.
Mine fell in a cement mixer, I shoveled it onto the spot for the Brickie. He don't like lumps in the gobbo. LOL
I’d be willing to bet that those are fakes. The market is saturated with fake g shock watches and anyone selling high end g shock watches for cheap is suspect. I only buy from a certified g shock retailer. Never eBay or Amazon.

Do you know anything about Rolex? Rolex makes extremely durable watches with hard 904l steel, high water resistance ratings, proven to last movements, screw down crowns on all models, and extreme longevity. I guarantee that a Rolex submariner would last until at least test 8(car run over). The Apple watch, however, would fail the first test.

@@dakshsharma4946 the DW-5000-1, a classic model, he lost the strap some time ago and kept the clock in his bedside, probably has good memories of it, it is still working fine

I bought one of the G-Shocks few years ago. from the PX...
and I realised I don't really need a watch far more durable than my wrist itself.
I think it's very useful when you get bombed or something, your arm is just laying around...far away from your torso and your final wish is just need to know the exact time you died, G-Shock is the best.

This is why I wear G-Shock watches almost everyday. They can't be destroyed by simply wearing them like any other watch. You have to actually put effort into destroying a G-Shock. Even the lower end G-Shock watches are just about bullet proof when used in real world conditions.

Bro I'm using G-Shock watch for more than 4 years now . I have exploited G-Shock so badly you didn't even dream about it.
1) I have used G-Shock in a area where there is heavy Sandstrom every single day .
2) I have used G-Shock in offshore platform . I have dip my hands with G-Shock in oil , grease , gasoline , sea water for many hours
3) some times I didn't even remove my G-Shock for more than 2 weeks . I take it my hot water showers every where almost .
G-Shock is capable to withstand any climatic conditions or anything .
Only way to destroy a G-Shock is to put it below a moving train or trailer

Are you using the OEM strap? After two weeks, surely it would peel the skin off.
This did break, but with normal use these are basically indestructible, I don't think everyday u hit. It with a baseball bat, and really no device can survive that, so I still give them a ton of credit for the first tests

I own 2 GShocks an 2 Rolex s and a Hublot , GShocks are tougher , and last longer I have been in the ocean for 5 hours with the GShock took it home an ran it through the dishwasher , an still works today that was 15 yrs ago

I got really hammered onetime and blacked out and woke up in the hospital. Apparently during my blackout I fell into a stream and I threw my watch down the stream. I have no memory of this. Went back to the stream to look for it about 4 days later and found the g shock in a little pocket of rocks in the stream, battered but still working fine after 4 days underwater

Wow! Test another watch companies watch and see if it can handle the punishment. Have been wearing G-Shocks for over 20 years and they can't be beat. Reality of this article is anything can be destroyed, but it's a watch to be worn on your wrist and none of this is going to happen in real life.

This is why I use my DW-5600 when I go camping. Their durability is nothing short of impressive.
Got exactly the Same and droped it from round about 25 Meters. The case got some scratches and the clock is ticking but the Display inside broke.
