Marine Comm The watch must be good looking for people to wear them out on special occasions the watch that you have is obviously something that a person who works in the trade or something like the story you told us that you do what you did which might not be true but nobody gives a rats ass
I would have to agree 100% that wrist watches are extremely important not only because they're very easy to check the time but also getting compliments on them is also a great feeling
Micsmit 45 Absolutely. On the very rare occasion I leave the house without it I have to turn around and go and get it. Feels very strange to not have it on.
Point number 8: "Wearing a watch sends a signal to clients and coworkers that you care about time." And this is especially important if their time is important to them. You wear a watch for the exact same reason you comb your hair, shine your shoes, or brush your teeth. Or refrain from getting your face and hands tattooed. Of course, this may not matter to you if you never interact with clients or if you work somewhere in the back room. Or if you are an unemployed artist. But in some professions, it is a mandatory sign of professionalism. Have you ever seen a doctor or nurse NOT wearing a watch? Or an attorney, or a banker? You don't need a wristwatch to sit home and play video games, but you do need one if you want to make a good impression in the workplace. When you are ready to grow up, you will start wearing a wristwatch.
hundreddollarbiller Come on, isn't it like the first thing that come to one's mind? I only hope cell phones will once go obsolete same as the pocked watch.
+Paddyslippers I use my chronograph watch to time things at work, time my Rubik's cube times, etc. I won't be bringing my car to the office to do that. Watch is really best for that.
For me it's a good way of checking time in more professional settings. When I'm in an interview and take a second to think, I usually have my arms on the table so I can look down at my watch and pace myself. Like on longer questions regarding my experience, I would ask for 30 seconds or so and think to myself "10 seconds to brainstorm bullet points for 3 major relevant experiences". When I'm out at a nice dinner or a formal, I'd prefer to keep my phone out of sight as much as possible and just refer to my watch. It's courteous to those you're spending time with and it feels classier. Perhaps I'm trying too hard to be sophisticated or I'm looking into it too much, but those are just my 2 cents on wearing a watch.
I agree. You could tell people you're just checking the time on your phone, but it's neater to check your watch, in my opinion. It's a sign of a neat personality. Like someone who takes pride in the little things such as a janitor or when a cashier wraps your bags up nicely. It's a nice feeling to others and you. The culture of wearing a watch is so intriguing to me.
I used to check the time on my phone a lot,and now having a watch definitely limits my screen time on my phone and it doesn't make me look like I'm always on my phone when I just want to check the time, especially in a professional setting where you're not supposed to be on your phone or when being on your phone looks rude, I.E.checking the time on your phone during church.
Tom Spencer A few of the 'top' level exams have banned watches in my country as well. But for a student, wristwatches help a lot where phones are not allowed. And here 98% of the exams still do allow watches.
star999nine Indian. No there isn't any practical reason to do so. But they never find a reason to put it there in the first place. We take our exams in normal classrooms. They don't have clocks either. So the invigilator just reminds us the time every 15 or so minutes. All the state level or national level exams have clocks in the hall but majority of the exams don't.
To all these dummies saying "oh a watch is obsolete" "a watch is pointless". None of you get it, a watch is jewelry! Where do they sell high quality watch? THAT'S RIGHT a jewelry store! It is NOT a dying industry and anyone who says that is just plain ignorant, get back to me when Rolex and Seiko go out of business. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
Reason 8: CHARACTER - A watch is part of a definition of the person who is wearing it. You can define someone's taste and style by what they are wearing. Whether if is a simple dress watch, a sporty G-Shock, a gold Rolex, a complicated piece like Breguet, a plastic quartz , rare vintage model, or a high-end piece like Patek. Reason 9: STATUS SYMBOL Reason 10: CHICK-MAGNET :) Reason 11: THE BOND - Watch wearers and collectors have special bond with they pieces. Just like car enthusiasts love their cars. Also a watch can be passed down from father to son, creating a special connection. Reason 12: JEWELRY - A nice watch can be a man's only piece of jewelry. And a fashion statement. Reason 13: A DRESS WATCH - Every nice suit isn't complete without a nice dress watch. Reason 14: EMERGENCY FUND - If you are traveling aboard and happen to lost all your cash and credit cards, you can sell or pawn your watch and save you a lot of trouble.
@P A I said that "watches" are a fashion piece. All watches. Yes they are functional and useful but ALL watches are undeniably an accessory/fashion piece as well.
@P A Crazy to me that you can afford a Rolex when you couldn't even comprehend what I was saying until I clarified it 3 times. Must be a hand me down from a more successful relative.
I agree with him Even though i have owned smartphones that cost hundreds of dollars Nothing beats my humble Casio f91w With a glance i got the day, date and time Nothing but absolute convenience And yeah you can buy watches that cost as much as an apartment but you need nothing more than the f91w
Since I bought my first "premium" watch, life has drastically changed for me. I feel that what I'm wearing is more complete. It may seem very unimportant because of its size but the touch that it gives to your clothes is 10 times bigger. I also received many compliments thus improving and enhancing my confidence and self-esteem.
Like many men, I stopped wearing a watch a while back. But like you found that wearing one just ups your game, and can definitely makes you appear more professional. Classic or smart watch there's room for at least one. Plus an excellent way to complete and add some dimension a look. Thanks.
As a medical intern you're constantly on the rush and a watch really helps you keep track of the time since you basically spend your whole day in a hospital... Personally I think that the simplest the watch, the better! Great video Antonio
+Maxwell Nothing wrong with diesel watches, go with what you like. I do recommend that you look over other options tho. Since diesels main thing isn't watches. If you want a watch that whit stands much and have a high quality i would say seiko or victorinox. Not to expensive and good quality. Victorinox did a watch called inox, it says to with stand much pressure. Its a nice looking watch. Go with whatever rocks your boat but the watches from companys that doesn't care about or have a passion for just watches may not hold for so long. Have a good day :)
I wear the same Rotary watch everyday and have done since March, when I received it as a birthday gift. It was priced at £120, which is roughly $185, and it's been an incredible investment for me. Its silver in colour with black leather, its classy and subtle, I consider a watch a staple of my wardrobe. A great video Antonio, I will definitely add myself to the email list for The Fifth.
About 15 years ago or so, I purchased a Seiko Kinetic at the local jewelery store's dog days sale. The thing still keeps within 1-second every six-months according to the National Bureau of Standards monitor, I only adjust it at Daylight to Standard time and back. A couple of years ago I finally acquired a quality automatic watch that attracts many compliments. I'm not a collector, but I understand the mentality.
+J Johnson attracts compliments? what a simp you are ... who gives a shit what ppl think! holy shit, people with real money and real intellect don't wear watches or if they do they just wear something simple and don't give a shit. holy shit, i feel like i went to a timewarp to 1982 where men are watching Miami Vice and thinking how cool they'd look in a Member's Only jacket. such tools you all are
Lol!!!!! Awwww c'mon now, don't get so mad, kid. Go home to mama. Oh I forgot, you're straddling that fat ugly pig right now. LOL!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!BWA HA HA HA HA!!!!!
Guy: " Hey let me tell you why you HAVE to start wearing a watch!" Me : "Hmmm I'm listening...." Guy: "...uhhh..a watch company paid me to make a video telling you to wear a watch.."
+Ellis Frost .. or he approaches a watch company and asks if they are interested in him promoting them? You almost make it sound like these people are putting advertising at the bottom of their list, when it's at the top, and then speak of integrity? Open your eyes.
I own 4 watches. All are mechanical 24 jewel movement. Why? Mainly for what they are and not so much what they do. They are nothing short of mechanical marvels. They remind me of a simpler, slower paced lifestyle. In this world of digital over kill, they are something that takes me back to my childhood when all watches were mechanical. Simply put...they are my little mechanical side kicks. With me wherever I go . They never need a battery and will basically run forever as long as they stay wound. The inside of a mechanical watch, to me, is nothing short of a mechanical ballet of moving parts.
+John Wick How could it ever? We just have a _wide_ approximation of the current time. Even the most accurate clock ever created cannot keep it (it's esteemed to lose 1s every 15 billions years), let alone commercial watches. Just consider the time between reading the time from an accurate source (which will anyway be behind) and setting it on your watch: seconds and seconds lost!
If you want to be that exact, then it goes the other way too. After billions (of trillions) of years, all those one-second accumulations will eventually coincide with the correct time, exactly.
I've been wearing analog chronigraphs since the early '70s, mostly Seikos. Had an Omega Flightmaster that was stolen from me in college. Saved up for a year to buy it -$400.00 at the time! Several more Seiko chronographs and now I wear a Buliva Marine Star. Watches were absolutely indespensable for me, both on the job and off. Especially working rotating shifts. They enabled me to not only keep track of the time, but enabled me to better manage my time. I'm retired now, but keeping track of time is still important and wearing a watch is the one thing I brought into my retirement life with me. Time, to me, is too important to trust to a $2.00 digital watch. This shows no respect for time - the ONLY thing we are given at birth.
A $2 digital quartz watch tells time more accurately than a $20,000 Rolex with an automatic movement. Being into watches is great but no need to be pretentious about it.
@@lloydirving6209 Good point! I didn't mean to come across as pretentious or elitist, but as a 3 time heart-attack survivor, I have a heightened respect for time. Agreed, an inexpensive digital IS more accurate than a $20,000 Rolex mechanical and I wouldn't buy one even if I could afford one (Trust me, I can't). My meaning was, for me, I now have more respect for time than I did before. Wearing a watch, any watch, tells me that person also respects time, theirs and other people's.
@@akeeperofoddknowledge4956 That makes a lot of sense, thanks for the clarification. It can be hard to discern tone over text sometimes. Major props and respect to you for surviving 3 heart attacks as well, my dad suffered a nasty one in 2017 but he pulled through and is doing great today. Scariest day of my life. Much love to you, enjoy retirement.
My watches are part of my life. Always dress my watch on. No matter where i go or what i do. No matter what style of life you have, their is always a right watch for your needs. Good video
I personally love my Invicta Pro Diver. It has a flame infused crystal and screw down crown, waterproof up to 1000 meters. It's very stylish with NATO wrist bands but the silver band that it comes with looks fairly nice as well. I like the automatic movement, even if it isn't as accurate as a quartz movement primarily because of the history of the mechanism itself.
I agree with your 7 reasons, but I started wearing a traditional watch for another reason. For many years I did not wear any watch and like many of us, I used my smartphone for telling time. Then some time ago I got a smartwatch from a company named after a fruit. I personally felt that the watch is just another information outlet, similar to modern phones. But most importantly, I caught myself paying way too much attention to the watch's notifications whenever I was trying to spend quality time with someone. I would be in a lunch meeting with a colleague, or sitting with my family, and there it would go, "buzz, buzz" and grab my attention! I thought from other people's perspective about how rude I was being every time I paid attention to the watch; almost as if my time was too important to spend with them. I gave up on the smartwatch after a few months and started to wear a traditional watch just for the purpose of telling time... there, serenity!
A great video. You are bang on with your thoughts about the benefits of wearing a watch. It is so obvious, but always worth repeating in our smart media dominated world. I became interested in quality automatic watches about a year ago, having previously worn only cheap digital and quartz watches. It is a balance between spending and passion though, with other real life costs, and there are a lot of watch snobs about. The best advice seems to be - at least one decent watch for (office type) work/social occasions and one daily "beater watch' for robust work/activities. My child has only recently started wearing a watch. It is a simple three hand quartz watch, but great to see the next generation appreciating the simplicity of the wrist watch despite the IPhone. I intend to leave at least one decent watch to hand down.
+Luis Martin Not true - I have a lot more videos coming where I do wear a watch BUT I batch process my filming an in some cases you are watching a video I shot 3-5 months ago. My newer vids have me wearing a watch :) But good eye for detail!
Big reason nobody’s talking about when comparing watch to smartphone, the psychological reason: when you look at your analog or digital watch, you get sense of time, you can feel the moment. You don’t get the same feeling on smartphone.
I love all of your videos besides this one. In my experience, 99% of people can't tell the difference between a quality watch and a cheap watch that looks like it's high quality. I buy what looks good for a cheap price and most people, especially women, have no idea and I still get compliments.
I know your comment was 6 years ago. But you are absolutely correct. I recently bought a Casio A168. A cheap 20 dollar watch. Not bad looking either. And its been noticed far more than my more expensive watches which cost me 100s of dollars more.
As a male fashion ignoramus, I have been checking out a lot of your videos, and I thank you, sir, for what you do and how eloquently you communicate such helpful and simple tips. Keep up the good work!
Some of my best liked models are: Rolex daytona ice blue, Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Chronometer, Belgravia Powertempo, Rado Centrix, Patek Phillipe geneve, Ulysse nardin Le Locale etc... Just amazing what they do...
I love watches and I think they should be worn more, butI can't agree with your points. Honestly, if you're not into watches and times pieces as a whole, then the only real reasons to wear a watch are looks. But if you are and can see the value behind mechanical vs. quartz, the different number of complications, the tradition behind that watch maker, then the reasons become something more like why a person tuned into the art world gets a painting. Your reasons were exaggerated for the average person. It's not that much more simple or convenient than taking out your phone and they are pointless as heirlooms if the person inheriting it does not appreciate watches in the same way. I have it in my will that my collection is to be sold off immediately and money put into college funds for family members.
+Taylor Bowman I'm not really into watches yet here I am with a cheapo casio digital watch because my phone's battery is horrible. That and looks would be the only reasons for me.
Watches have gotten my pal Bond, James Bond, out of many sticky situations. They are great accessories and additions to your arsenal. great video. I just got my Invicta 11283 out of the closet today.
I wear high-end watches because the joy they give me. When I look down at my wrist, they reminded me of how far I've come since arriving from Cuba as a poor immigrant boy at age 3. I worked my ass off and made something of myself and by the grace of God I have achieved my own version of the American dream. I was fortunate enough to give my daughter a 2 tone Rolex 31mm Datejust when she started college. Watching her wear that watch, when at here age I could have never dreamed of owning a fine swiss watch is a indescribable feeling. A phone could ever do that.
sometimes i feel like throwing my smartphone somewhere where i can never find it and not buy a new one again because of distraction. Never the case with a watch. In fact, the more i wear a watch the more i like it..
Biased and exaggerative. Being sponsored he does not consier what he is saying. Take 1-1.5 mins to check the time on your phone? Very objective (y) i wear a watch but sometimes just try and be honest and not be so unrealistic.
"What happens after a few hours with these things? Or maybe 8 hours if you've got a good one?" Is he seriously implying that smartphones die after 8 hours or less? Maybe if you only stream videos with your brightness on max for 8 hours straight. And the second point, about how it takes ~1.5 mins to get your phone out of your pocket. Again. Are you kidding? Or just seriously mentally handicapped. If it really takes you over a minute to get your phone out of your pocket then you probably shouldn't be carrying one at all. What are you going to do if someone calls you? Your phone only rings for 30 seconds. That's it. Also, with the danger that he was talking about checking the time and driving, on my droid turbo I created an activation phrase, and when I say "droid, activate," it turns on. From there I can ask it anything from "what time is it" to "how much is the tuition for Stanford" and it will annunciate the answer.
I just bought my second Rolex, so yeah... I'm definitely a watch guy. I've never heard of Fifth Watches, and I can't say I'm impressed. They don't list prices on their idiotic website, but whatever they are charging, I can guarantee you it is too much. If I had any advice to offer to those looking to get into watches it is this: 1. Be conservative. Stick with watches in the 40-42 mm range. For sports watches (eg: Rolex Submariner, Omega Speedmaster), most guys can go up to 44, but dress watches like the ones this company produces should be in the 38-40 mm range. Their watch is 43 mm, which is way too large. Avoid at all costs. You will look ridiculous. 2. You don't need to spend a lot to get a great watch. Seiko and Orient both sell excellent watches at very affordable prices. There are also smaller boutique brands like Steinhart, Squale, Helson, Helios and many, *many* more which offer high quality watches with automatic movements at competitive prices. If you really want to buy a watch (nominally) produced in Australia, consider instead the Melbourne Watch Company. Their offerings are far more sophisticated and are priced right. Which brings me to my third point: 3. Never buy a watch with a quartz movement (i.e., one which operates on a battery). Only buy watches with mechanical or "automatic" self-winding movements. Trust me on this one.
+Michael Herman Hey I have a question on your 3 point. Im looking to get a pretty inexpensive watch for my first. I was looking at the Bulova Marine Star, but you say dont get Quartz movement watches? could I ask what is wrong with them?
Quartz movements - especially cheap quartz movements - are not built to last. If you want something disposable, quartz is fine. A mechanical watch, if cared for properly, will last a lifetime. Plus, the second hand has a smooth sweeping motion instead of the 'tick' associated with quartz watches, which looks pretty cool. Having said that, finding an automatic chronograph - which is more complicated than a regular automatic movement and therefore more expensive - in the same price range as the Marine Star might prove a challenge.
I started subscribing to your channel based on this video. I have always loved watches. I have several of them. My favorite is a beautiful Invicta watch that my wife gave to me for Christmas about 3 years ago. I used to wear it all the time. Several months ago was the last time I wore my watch, and since then the battery has died and needs replacing. I plan on getting it replaced soon. it's nice to know that there are people that have a passion for watches out there still. Thank you for your video and for reminding me of how much I love my watch and how much it deserves to be worn and enjoyed.
Great video Antonio, I’ve been collection watches since my military days in the late 1980s (currently have 55). I feel a watch just balances out your outfit and it’s a great conversation starter because very few men are wearing them.
Hi antonio im from india. I own about 5 different types of watches all priced between 100-200 dollars. So next time pls do a video about types of watches for different occasions
@@anirudhparthiban1560 well he said "Do you believe in cows" so I think he is asking if you believe in the existence of cows, like one would ask "do you believe in aliens". Basically, he's a barely literate dolt who's unsure about the existence of cows. Much love from your brother across the border in pk ❤️
I appreciate watches because of the relationship between humans and machines. For me a digital watch is lifeless and lacks the simplicity that a watch offers.A mechanical/automatic watch can not live on its own. You must care for it, feed its mainspring every day. When it gets unwell you must take it to the horologist expert for a check up and to receive treatment. It is a mechanical pet whose only service it can provide its owner is its closest approximation to the current time. Its style is a reflection of the owners attitude. It matters not what others think. But it does matter what you say about yourself and what you say to others. A watch is an extension of that philosophy. For those who express contempt are missing the point. Those who are belittling do not understand that these reasons are personal and are lacking in empathy.
i can know the time at 5 different places from where i am sitting right now...all i have to do is look around...laptops ipads mobiles car dashboards etc
I'm studying to be an engineer at the moment, and my skeleton watch is a constant reminder of where I'm going and to always make the best use of my time for my future career.
John Hackett If you want an iconic model like the Man on the Moon or a Bond style Seamaster, then yes, they're expensive. If you just want the brand, you can easily get Seamasters, Devilles and the likes from the 70's at very reasonable prices.
I was just speaking to a friend of mine about a specific watch that I want to market. Then, I think to myself it would probably be a good idea to have the cuff links and tie pins and collar stays. I remembered you from James Wedmore. And, here you are talking about watches. God is good. Nice comments. I love watches. Regardless of how functional my phone is there's nothing like pulling out your watch (flip of the wrist) as opposed to pulling out your phone. Gentlemanly. Classy. Sophisticated. Craftmanship. What's not to like?! Nice work, sir.
Thanks for validating an expensive decision I made for my spare change. I have just purchased an old Longines and an old Omega solid gold watch to start off my collection. I have an appointment this afternoon and shall wear the Longines. Real style and class. They are miniature works of art, art deco beauty, a slower simpler age.
I know this might sound silly, but the motion I make when checking my watch makes me feel much more masculine and in charge than fumbling around with my phone.
+JP Sheehan I feel the same way. There's just something classic & cool about that motion that I just can't explain. And yeah, fumbling around trying to check your phone conveys a bit of disorganization.
+Dominic Lobban I haven't worn a watch for about that long too. I didn't miss it at first until a friend took me along for a watch shopping. I bought an Adidas sport watch on sale for cheap. Started wearing it and than realized how much I missed wearing a watch.
Maybe this isn't the place for this comment, but then again this si a video AND a commercial, so all's fair right? IS it just me or I do the huge watches of recent years look ridiculous? They make the wearer look like they are desperate for attention: "Look at me! Look at the watch I am wearing!". I mean, what's up with this silly trend? For a century or more, wristwatches have been a reasonable size. Now they are width of a man's whole friggin' wrist!
+da Bob It really depends on one's preference - but if you still want the classy watches. It's still available. And there are certain rules about wearing the right size for your wrist.
+da Bob It's partially the current style, but it's also tied to function in many cases. Kinetic / self-winding watches are often larger due to the additional moving parts inside. Satellite watches, watches with multiple hands/faces, etc. etc. As many modern watches have added functionality beyond simply keeping time they've trended larger in order to accommodate all that functionality. I suspect adding features is how most watch makers are attempting to maintain relevance in the smartphone era. Being a rather slim man, it can be frustrating.
First, I have to agree with the frustration as a man of fairly thin wrists. Finding these pie-plate sized things to put on my arm feels crazy and looks even worse. Second, and as much as I appreciate your comment, watches ARE NOT bigger due to the kinetic/self-winding mechanisms. I am wearing on my skinny wrist - as I type this - a very attractive, very SLIM watch from +/- 1962 called an Omega Constellation. It was my grandfather's, then my fathers, and now it is mine. Its is maybe 36mm in diameter and quite slim to boot. Oh, and did I mention it is self-winding?!? I used to think that watch was amazing as a young boy, back when you had to WIND UP watches to make them work, but the point here is that kinetic powered watches have been around a long, long time -- well before the "pie plates" came along in recent years :) ALso many years ago were multi-function watches - - nice, smallish watches called chronometers. Maybe its cheaper to make them with big parts, but certainly not necessary. Look inside those huge watches and you will find LOTS of open space. Most watch mechanisms are tiny and take up very little space (in any dimension). Its all about style, not a need for more space, that these monstrosities exist. (Ever see an Apple watch? Do you know all those things can DO within 38mm?!!). By the way, you failed to mention my own theory for the larger watches which rings true with me and my generation: You can SEE them more easily with older eyes!! Best regards, Bob
+da Bob Thanks for the info. I wound up looking into them further; I had no idea self-winders actually date back to just after WW1. Part of what actually got me interested in watches was that I remember my great uncles and grandfathers having old heirloom timepieces but by the time I reached adulthood they'd all passed away and the timepieces had been long lost, sold, or broken. I have a self-winding Seiko that's about 40mm diameter and that's one of (if not the) smallest of the type I've seen. It's a heavy thing (weighs twice as much as even similarly sized watches do.. so, imagine a barbell) and doesn't appear to have lots of spare room in it, but perhaps they took a cue from McDonald's and supersized everything. ;-) I suppose it was just optimistic rationalization on my part, but the ugly truth will only make finding decently-sized watches even more frustrating now.
Oh well, didn't mean to go down a depressing route :) I wrote out of frustration, finding watches I liked on Amazon only to find they were much bigger than I wanted. Saw your comment after only having just pulled out my dad's Omega, so it was fresh in my mind and I had to say something. Its amazing the "micro-technology" there was so many years ago, isn't it? I just ended up with another Seiko (solar this time!) that I'm trying to get accustomed to at 40mm. Looks nice but a tad big for my taste. If it lasts 20 years like the last one (still working), I guess I'll be happy. I'm not a jewelry wearer per-se, so its all about telling time and reliability for me :) Cheers! Bob
I've worn a watch every day of my life since I was in the military. at first for function, then it became my style. I have a collection now and wear a different one depending on situation or what I'm wearing that day. I wear a suit every day with various pocket squares, I have a wide selection of shoes and generally just a crazy wardrobe. however, what people notice when they see me is what watch I'm wearing. you can tell a lot about a person by what's on their wrist. where they've been, who they are and most importantly where they are going. countless conversations have started with people asking to see a watch I'm wearing. those conversations lead into a lot of different things; dates, job offers or just interesting conversations. I dress the way I dress and wear a watch because the way I present myself is important. I am anyone's first impression of my family, my kids and myself. the way I present that image is important to me. a good watch is part of that image. it ties everything together. and let's not forget, they are just plain cool.
Most people change phones every six months, cars almost every three years, even relationships change overtime... But when we buy a watch we really like, we keep it for the rest of our life.
You keep a smartphone untill there is no update support that's 2 years normally Of you have a classic car I don't think you sell it ! Some people are still married until they die lol I agree with the watch argument at all lol
There is nothing more disrespectful than not being on time. Everyone's time is valuable and if someone else meets you for either business or even social reasons and you are late, you are wasting their time and that is plain rude. A watch will always make sure you get somewhere on time and people respect that.
I love my 1964 Accutron Spaceview watch. I bought it at the of age 18 back in 1980; I had it overhauled for my 50th birthday in 2012. Instead of using quartz to keep time, it uses a tuning fork which vibrates 360 times per second thus making a humming sound and a sweeping second hand. The gears, coil, resistor and transistor is something to look at.
My grandfather had a watch when he fought with the RAF in WW2, he passed it down to my father, who has now passed it down to me! Watches preserve memories...
Well done! Another great reason for wearing a watch: "We don't know where we're going unless we know where we came from". Watches historically drove industry and commerce. Our parents relied on watches to govern their every day living. Honouring the past will direct us to a great future. Thanks for promoting the industry! (Rick Brownbill, Reichart Watch)
I also got a NEW wirst Watch and the reasons in the Video are so True. When I first saw this watch (Certina DS Action Diver Automatic SWISS MADE ISO6425 certified), I knew this was the watch I'm buying next and I bought it! so happy with it. She is pretty precise.
+Maximus Decimus Why? Whats wrong with that? Its called being a good business person. If youre that sensitive to things like that that you must be a nervous and upset person.
I stopped wearing watches about 15 years ago because it ruins the best time of your day. A watch is surely good for work, but I don't work in the forest or in the ocean, I sit in front of my computer or in the car and it would be less convenient to look to my wrist instead of the clock directly in front of me. But if I go to friends, to a party or to the park I definitely don't want to stress myself by checking the time all the time. I just leave a party when if it feels right to leave - not because the time is telling me to go. I feel a lot more like a human if I don't wear that modern ring of slavery. Not wearing any watch at all is real luxury. Ignoring time is real freedom.
A WATCH IS A JEWL.NOT SLAVERY YOU USE IT,LIKE A BRACLET, ITS NICE, YOU JUST LOOK AT THE WATHC WHEN YOU WANT. STAY LOOKING TO A SAMRTH PHONE AND WASTE YOUR LIFE.
the first and mostly important reason why i love Watch is because i love the precision of them, simply they are amazing, the engineering behind them is just mind blowing, and every single watch have a story to tell.
No? The function of a watch is to tell time? Wow who'd have thought? Such a mindblowing concept.Thank you for illuminating me to the ways of the world!
+Weston Powers I own both Automatic and Quartz watches. My Vostok Europe Limousine GAZ-14 Chronograph is a Quartz, as is my Tudor Monarch. Nothing wrong with having Quartz watches, especially if you use them as your everyday beater watch and only on occasion wear an Automatic/Manual winding watch.
Lol anyone who compliments a The Fifth watch knows nothing about watches, in that case their compliments mean nothing to me, so that's redundant. If you're gonna wear a watch, don't get some cheap piece of shit with some Japanese quartz movement, get a proper watch.
***** It's not a real watch brand, it's just a fashion accessory, any company can stick their logo on a watch and sell it. Proper watch brands are Tissot, Seiko, Hamilton, Oris, Omega, Tudor, Rolex, IWC, Audemars Piguet, etc. I hate fashion watches like Calvin Klein, Armani, Gucci, etc, these companies know nothing about watchmaking.
+funbucket09 A proper watch doesn't have to be expensive, just has to be from a company that actually knows about watchmaking and not one that just sticks their logo on a watch. You can buy a cheap Casio, Citizen, or Tissot if you don't wanna spend a lot on a watch.
I brought a Micheal Kors watch and it cost me quite a bit but, the watch represents the successes I've yet to achieve thus when I go wear the watch I feel as if my blood rushes that much faster. I buy watches which I slightly splurge on, then after the purchase I feel myself obligated to live up to the grandeur of owning that watch. This method alone - this mind hack- has conditioned me to link a specific watch I buy to big goal I want to achieve. I've done this 4 times now. It's ticking wonders! And I enjoy it!
I've become a real watch fanatic the past few years. The fifth watches looks very nice, simplistic and well designed for a good price. If anyone here wants to get an automatic watch for the first time, I'd recommend for example a Seiko 5 sport (make sure you get an automatic one) wich functions the way told in the video. It preserves its energy by the kinetic energy from your movements. Great watch for a relatively low price. A warning though, it's easy to get addicted to watches, because you can be so amazed by the quality and attention to detail. It's a perfectionist trade. After being interested in watches for almost 5 years now, I recently got myself a Tag Heuer Formula 1 calibre 16. I'm almost embarrassed when I think about how much I paid for it, but I love it so much. The attention to detail and watching the fine fluent movement of the hands and listening to the perfect fast paced ticking are incredible. The exactness and robust quality of everything makes me smile. Actually makes every day I wear it a little better. Don't even get me started on how it felt like when the watch maker opened it up and showed me the pieces inside. Yes, I have become addicted...
I wear a watch every day. I have multiple different styles. Even the calculator. My brother bought me a Field and Stream watch, only carried over to my calculator, Swiss Army (doesn't have tools), super hero brands, video games, etc. Love wearing them and the compliments do come often. I have 16 of them already, been collecting a little over a year. Love it
Watches is Man-jewelry, it reflect your personality and style, and sets you apart of the wolf-pack, you will get compliments and will be noticed, be prepared to answer questions which opens conversations about your and other ppls watches
yeah wearing watch kindah makes you feel good about yourself. it kindah gives you a boost in self confidence whenever you look at yourself in the mirror when you are walking and seeing your reflection.... it just makes you feel more positive about yourself.
hey big fan. I think you should look at two watches and consider buying them. 1. The Rolex GMT Master 2 and 2. JLC Reverso. The rolex is a great everyday watch. You can wear it with jeans and a t shirt to a suit. The JLC Reverso (many different models) is flawless with a Tuxedo or a fancy suit. Its something you'd wear at your wedding or an elegant event. The reason why I said Rolex GMT ii rather than the infamous Submariner is because I think its more unique and since I travel often, having a GMT function serves me better than a diving watch. Both are great in water so dont worry. If you have money to spend or you become obsessed with watches like myself. Check out the Patek Phillipe and Audemars Piguet. Go to your local boutique and wear them in person. I love how you compared watches with cars... they are both my obsession. lol. Great video.
My whys to why I wear a watch 1. Convenience, as you said the video, its convinent and easy to have something that quickly can tell you stuff like the time. My watch also shows the date of the month and a analogue timer function, I use that alot for cooking or knowing when my laundry is ready. Then I do not have to mess around with my smartphone. 2. Traditions, men was wearing watches way before smartphones and mobilephones of any kind. I want to be a part of that tradition of wearing a wristwatch. And I have always enjoyed wearing a wristwatch. 3. It is an easy way to say something about oneself, to make a statement. I also like to make it part of my outfit, for more formal outfits I can wear a more formal watch, for less formal semi-casual outfits I can wear a watch for that and for more sporting and training I have a watch for that. 4. A good watch is something that will be with the wearer for years and get it's own history. Or it can be a good thing to have something to remember and celebrate something. My latest watch I bought after having completed a work that I had been on for a long time. I wanted something to remember the time (no pun intended), the moments and everything around it so I went and bought myself a watch. It was expensive but I know it will be with me for a really long time. Those are my whys

What do you think of TW steel watches?
+funbucket09 Fashion watch. Nothing more.

Marine Comm The watch must be good looking for people to wear them out on special occasions the watch that you have is obviously something that a person who works in the trade or something like the story you told us that you do what you did which might not be true but nobody gives a rats ass
Reasons I wear a watch:
1. To look cool
2. To sneakily check the time when I don't want to appear rude or bored
2.😂
I would have to agree 100% that wrist watches are extremely important not only because they're very easy to check the time but also getting compliments on them is also a great feeling
+Mike Hunt exactly!
I feel naked when i dont wear my watch. Its just a part of me.
Micsmit 45 lol same and i have a tan line there
Pepper Shaker same here
Micsmit 45 Absolutely. On the very rare occasion I leave the house without it I have to turn around and go and get it. Feels very strange to not have it on.
I haven't taken my watch off since March
+Matt Schwartz same, weird isn't it?
If it takes you a whole minute to check the time on your phone, you have a serious problem.
+Scott McDermott Cell phone is kind of like a pocket watch, but without a chain.
+Andrew Piatek haha I just realized that, you're right! never thought about it, you sir deserve more upvotes.
hundreddollarbiller Come on, isn't it like the first thing that come to one's mind? I only hope cell phones will once go obsolete same as the pocked watch.
+Scott McDermott doesn't have a clock in his car either! haha
Best of luck telling what time it is in an examination hall with your phone.
Watches are now banned by my exam board due to the smart watches
Tom Spencer A few of the 'top' level exams have banned watches in my country as well. But for a student, wristwatches help a lot where phones are not allowed. And here 98% of the exams still do allow watches.
star999nine I have never once seen an examination take place in a room with a clock.
star999nine Indian.
Most classrooms in my experience had wall clocks so meh.
Agreed.
+Jordan Schlansky what are your doing here Jordan, shouldn't you be wasting time in your office?
TheRitzNE That's what I'm doing.

Reason 9: STATUS SYMBOL
Reason 10: CHICK-MAGNET :)
Reason 11: THE BOND - Watch wearers and collectors have special bond with they pieces.
+COLLABERATORZ Ouija Able interesting points
@P A nah gen z is super into fashion because of social media, and watches are absolutely a fashion piece
@P A I agree that Apple Watches are incredibly ugly, so I'm not sure what we disagree about there.
I agree with him
Even though i have owned smartphones that cost hundreds of dollars
Nothing beats my humble Casio f91w
With a glance i got the day, date and time
Nothing but absolute convenience
And yeah you can buy watches that cost as much as an apartment but you need nothing more than the f91w
shadowstorm545 Preach!
shadowstorm545 I got a G-shock ga100 1a1.
So convenient and looks very nice. Gotten many compliments from friends and family.
Osama and Obamas watch.
I love Casio digital watches.
I love Casio digital watches.
+OmaMansou it does say a lot about the wearer's personality
Like many men, I stopped wearing a watch a while back. But like you found that wearing one just ups your game, and can definitely makes you appear more professional. Classic or smart watch there's room for at least one. Plus an excellent way to complete and add some dimension a look. Thanks.
+tmz85 Appreciate it - and good to see I'm not the only one!
Finally, an Antonio I don't hate! Bet you've been playing chess for years!
+Rafay Tashkeel Hahaha!

As a medical intern you're constantly on the rush and a watch really helps you keep track of the time since you basically spend your whole day in a hospital... Personally I think that the simplest the watch, the better!
Great video Antonio
+Joe M well said Joe!
you convinced me to buy a Watch thanks a lot
Awesome! Which style are you going to buy?
I look for diesel watches, because of their design and outdoor characteristics. And because of your videos i can decide a way better.
+Maxwell cough go for seiko😏
+Maxwell Nothing wrong with diesel watches, go with what you like. I do recommend that you look over other options tho. Since diesels main thing isn't watches. If you want a watch that whit stands much and have a high quality i would say seiko or victorinox. Not to expensive and good quality. Victorinox did a watch called inox, it says to with stand much pressure. Its a nice looking watch. Go with whatever rocks your boat but the watches from companys that doesn't care about or have a passion for just watches may not hold for so long. Have a good day :)
try casio watches
I wear the same Rotary watch everyday and have done since March, when I received it as a birthday gift. It was priced at £120, which is roughly $185, and it's been an incredible investment for me. Its silver in colour with black leather, its classy and subtle, I consider a watch a staple of my wardrobe. A great video Antonio, I will definitely add myself to the email list for The Fifth.
+Jake Groet sticking to a classy style is your best bet :)
+J Johnson Great to hear! :) Really pricey.
+J Johnson attracts compliments? what a simp you are ... who gives a shit what ppl think! holy shit, people with real money and real intellect don't wear watches or if they do they just wear something simple and don't give a shit. holy shit, i feel like i went to a timewarp to 1982 where men are watching Miami Vice and thinking how cool they'd look in a Member's Only jacket. such tools you all are
+David Beecroft So why did you bother to click on the video and then troll my comment? Besides, I never cared for Miami Vice nor trhat culture.
Lol!!!!! Awwww c'mon now, don't get so mad, kid. Go home to mama. Oh I forgot, you're straddling that fat ugly pig right now. LOL!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!BWA HA HA HA HA!!!!!
+David Beecroft Guys who emphasize the beta status of other men are about as beta and pathetic as you can get, and far from alpha.
I have been wearing a watch for 10 years, and have recently begun to up my game with wearing "timepieces" instead of just quartz watches.
Guy: " Hey let me tell you why you HAVE to start wearing a watch!"
Me : "Hmmm I'm listening...."
Guy: "...uhhh..a watch company paid me to make a video telling you to wear a watch.."
+calamper it's called an agenda :-P
+calamper its called gittin that $$$$$ i would do it
+Ellis Frost .. or he approaches a watch company and asks if they are interested in him promoting them? You almost make it sound like these people are putting advertising at the bottom of their list, when it's at the top, and then speak of integrity? Open your eyes.
+John Wick Yeah ... right.
Ferdian Tanjung Mandahiling Koto you can't find that becuase it's not bad. Watches are usefull.
YES! Finally a REAL helpful WATCH video. This was so AWESOME Antonio! :D
+Mayank Bhattacharya ur videos too are good woul like to meet u soon
Will I see you at style con?
+Malaquias Alfaro Time will tell. I have plans. But only time will tell. :)
+Prabhanjan Kulkarni Thank you so much! Means a lot. We shall meet soon.. :)
+Mayank Bhattacharya You are VERY welcome! What would you like to see next?
Cool fact: a working watch never shows the correct time. A broken one does that twice a day.
+signore del tempo Except a broken watch is more often further away from the correct time x)
Jesus calm down... No need to be so exact
I imagine that the Seiko GPS watches or the Citizen satellite watches are probably milliseconds out of sync considering they use atomic time.
@@lloydirving6209 Thank you, sir for being a gentleman! Hope your dad is doing well and he is keeping active. Very important!
+Joshua Bracke Very nice!
+Vishal Mody it does help create a relationship with time and being considerate of others instead of paying attention to your watch's notifications
Same!
I intend to leave at least one decent watch to hand down.
u only wear watches in your watch videos.....
I would say he will wear them more often now
+Luis Martin Cuz they are sponsored :)
He's gonna start wearing one in every video because you pointed that out
+Luis Martin Not true - I have a lot more videos coming where I do wear a watch BUT I batch process my filming an in some cases you are watching a video I shot 3-5 months ago. My newer vids have me wearing a watch :) But good eye for detail!
+Malaquias Alfaro I will!
This has got to be a joke. Seriously?!? The benefit of wearing a watch is being able to tell the time. NSS
+John Wick No Shit Sherlock
+Lars Dahl It adds style too.
I thought the same thing lol

Awesome job Antonio, i don't know how you're not running out of ideas. Each video seems fresh
+Hereford Johnson I get video suggestions from you guys
As a male fashion ignoramus, I have been checking out a lot of your videos, and I thank you, sir, for what you do and how eloquently you communicate such helpful and simple tips. Keep up the good work!
+Abraham Blea Thank you sir!
Some of my best liked models are: Rolex daytona ice blue, Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Chronometer, Belgravia Powertempo, Rado Centrix, Patek Phillipe geneve, Ulysse nardin Le Locale etc... Just amazing what they do...
I like the way this guy talks.
Me too!
If the battery on your phone runs out after 8 hours, then your phone sucks.
David Broughall Mine doesn’t last 6 hours to be honest.
What good will your phone do you if you're on a cruise ship out at sea or in an airplane over a desert or over the ocean?
If you take 1 minute to check the time on your phone, then you suck LOL.
This channel isn't for the average person it's for 'real men'
+Taylor Bowman I'm not really into watches yet here I am with a cheapo casio digital watch because my phone's battery is horrible. That and looks would be the only reasons for me.
+Taylor Bowman
I find it quite sad you have to save money to be able to go to college :(
Watches have gotten my pal Bond, James Bond, out of many sticky situations.
+craik Haha just stay focused!
As an addition to my last, in the event that it was not clear enough, all of that can be done while it is still in my pocket.
I just bought my second Rolex, so yeah... I'm definitely a watch guy. I've never heard of Fifth Watches, and I can't say I'm impressed. They don't list prices on their idiotic website, but whatever they are charging, I can guarantee you it is too much. If I had any advice to offer to those looking to get into watches it is this:
I wholeheartedly agree with this advice. Right on the mark with all 3 points.
Ahh I see, thanks for your insight!
Michael Herman Just felt like letting you know that I've decided to go with the Orient Ray Automatic Watch
+Mike Filippello That and 6 more reasons on my end - www.realmenrealstyle.com/7-reasons-wear-watch/.
Great video Antonio, I’ve been collection watches since my military days in the late 1980s (currently have 55). I feel a watch just balances out your outfit and it’s a great conversation starter because very few men are wearing them.
+Keith Burke yes! exactly
When your driving you don't need to pull out your phone to look at the time on every car I've been on there's a digital clock thing.
Jaskn Da somebody Hahahah that's right
Jaskn Da somebody not all cars
I got this recommended and I do not regret clicking this video
Hi antonio im from india. I own about 5 different types of watches all priced between 100-200 dollars. So next time pls do a video about types of watches for different occasions
Anirudh Parthiban Is it true you guys believe in cows?
What does that even suppose to mean?
@@anirudhparthiban1560 well he said "Do you believe in cows" so I think he is asking if you believe in the existence of cows, like one would ask "do you believe in aliens".
Basically, he's a barely literate dolt who's unsure about the existence of cows.
Much love from your brother across the border in pk ❤️
I’m wearing a watch since I was nine and now I’m late 20s. I love watches and I own casio wd290, nice watch.
When you talked about the relationship between a man and time... You gain me. Because I do love watches because of that reason
+flanker white for sure!
you should do a video on suspenders
I'm studying to be an engineer at the moment, and my skeleton watch is a constant reminder of where I'm going and to always make the best use of my time for my future career.
I got two of these watches for Christmas presents to give to two close friends of mine, I hope they like them. Thanks for the suggestion, Antonio.
You should send that watch to ArchieLuxury to review. He's in Australia and is a celebrity. Nice video by the way.
Archie would only call it a POS and then scream MAN ON THE MOON!
alter3go ROFL you must know ArchieLuxury =) I would love to see him compare it to his Calatrava that he sold.
Dog shit fuckers!!!!!
One word. Omega.
+Imran Becks One word. Broke
+John Hackett One word save! Well it's meaningless without context, so save your money and get yourself pre-owned when you've earned it.
Moon watch ftw
+John Hackett you can get them for like 500, that's not that much
John Hackett
If you want an iconic model like the Man on the Moon or a Bond style Seamaster, then yes, they're expensive. If you just want the brand, you can easily get Seamasters, Devilles and the likes from the 70's at very reasonable prices.
You can tell everything about a man by his watch and how clean his shoes are.
+mrdafortunate thank you sir - solid comment!
I feel you too man. something about that slight movement of the wrist just astonishes me
+JP Sheehan I feel the same way. There's just something classic & cool about that motion that I just can't explain. And yeah, fumbling around trying to check your phone conveys a bit of disorganization.
+JP Sheehan I have to agree with you on that
It’s not silly. It’s truth
i havent worn a watch in 12 years and I dont miss it
+Dominic Lobban Not even a little bit?
+Dominic Lobban I haven't worn a watch for about that long too. I didn't miss it at first until a friend took me along for a watch shopping. I bought an Adidas sport watch on sale for cheap. Started wearing it and than realized how much I missed wearing a watch.
datsunmadman even when you sleep?
I used to think that watch was amazing as a young boy, back when you had to WIND UP watches to make them work, but the point here is that kinetic powered watches have been around a long, long time -- well before the "pie plates" came along in recent years :)
ALso many years ago were multi-function watches - - nice, smallish watches called chronometers.
Best regards,
Bob
+da Bob Thanks for the info. I wound up looking into them further; I had no idea self-winders actually date back to just after WW1. Part of what actually got me interested in watches was that I remember my great uncles and grandfathers having old heirloom timepieces but by the time I reached adulthood they'd all passed away and the timepieces had been long lost, sold, or broken.
I have a self-winding Seiko that's about 40mm diameter and that's one of (if not the) smallest of the type I've seen. It's a heavy thing (weighs twice as much as even similarly sized watches do.. so, imagine a barbell) and doesn't appear to have lots of spare room in it, but perhaps they took a cue from McDonald's and supersized everything. ;-)
I suppose it was just optimistic rationalization on my part, but the ugly truth will only make finding decently-sized watches even more frustrating now.
I'm not a jewelry wearer per-se, so its all about telling time and reliability for me :)
Cheers!
Bob
I've worn a watch since I was a child. I can't remember a time a haven't worn one. now that I'm a nurse, watch is truly essential.
+JT Manuel For sure - it's definitely a must have for on-the-go people
I've worn a watch every day of my life since I was in the military. at first for function, then it became my style.
+jxahumada I definitely agree!
Most people change phones every six months, cars almost every three years,
even relationships change overtime...
But when we buy a watch we really like, we keep it for the rest of our life.
You keep a smartphone untill there is no update support that's 2 years normally
Of you have a classic car I don't think you sell it !
Some people are still married until they die lol
I agree with the watch argument at all lol
There is nothing more disrespectful than not being on time.
Everyone's time is valuable and if someone else meets you for either business or even social reasons and you are late, you are wasting their time and that is plain rude.
A watch will always make sure you get somewhere on time and people respect that.
+shelleyinthecity exactly!
shelleyinthecity 100% agree. I myself to pride myself on being early to every appointment. No matter what it maybe.
It only has the significance you give it, to me my watch is sort of like a tattoo it's a reflection of who i am
Totally agree with this. I wear G Shocks, Toughness brah
As for The Fifth watches, not convinced. As for the reasons a watch is a must have for men, you nailed it for me. Totally agree!
Conclusions.... smart phones suck, watches are better... solution? wear a smart watch xD
+rm2kdev lol that's good
+rm2kdev still have to be charged every day
+rm2kdev Understandable but I bought one and returned it in a few days. Not worth the money.
It's all personal opinion, I love mine, some people hate how you have to charge it, but who wears watches to sleep anyway?
Toms Tech someone that sleeps... and if you need it for time you can put it in low power mode, which will only show you time, and can last weeks.
At one point you were good. Now you are just an advertising guy. Have lost your genuinity now.
When my phone is in my pocket i ask what time is it and it tells me from my pocket
+joey floyd Good for you!
What phone do you have?
My grandfather had a watch when he fought with the RAF in WW2, he passed it down to my father, who has now passed it down to me! Watches preserve memories...
Well done! Another great reason for wearing a watch: "We don't know where we're going unless we know where we came from". Watches historically drove industry and commerce. Our parents relied on watches to govern their every day living. Honouring the past will direct us to a great future. Thanks for promoting the industry! (Rick Brownbill, Reichart Watch)
+Reichart Watch Exactly! It's more than just checking the time of the day.
Why the fuck am i watching this
You may be asking yourself, "Antonio, why the fuck am I watching this?" I know I am.
Shit there goes my sides.
Plamen Vasilev Strange... It's merely four minutes away from then for me and I'm just now watching this.
1:05 look at the flip of the wrist
+naser thmaide :)
lol @people who consider an apple watch an actual watch
A watch is a great gift. Every time the wearer looks @ the time they will remember the love and thoughtfulness of the giver.
As soon as you said they are your sponsor you lost me, goodbye.
+Maximus Decimus Peace
+Maximus Decimus Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
+Hulk Hulk smash!
+Maximus Decimus Why? Whats wrong with that? Its called being a good business person. If youre that sensitive to things like that that you must be a nervous and upset person.
***** "hulk" you must be 5'5 120 lbs and when you get angry you turn into a little girl.
...Look at the flick of this wrist...
Eliminator Isnt that what the bell is for?
I imagine your at a low working job cause effiencincy is the key to success and u get efficient by monitoring what u do
Then you don’t look at the time 24 hours!
watches are slavery? what about mobile phones?
A WATCH IS A JEWL.NOT SLAVERY
YOU USE IT,LIKE A BRACLET, ITS NICE,
YOU JUST LOOK AT THE WATHC WHEN YOU WANT.
How can you talk about style!?! Your shirt is 10x too big!
That, is actually true. Not entirely true but true.
+Nadav Steinberg LOL@ 'not entirely true, but true' ... hahaha
TQ lmao
You have to go mechanical!!!! Quartz watches have no soul.
+Mirokism not everyone can afford an omega or tag watch chief
+funbucket09 A proper watch doesn't have to be expensive, just has to be from a company that actually knows about watchmaking and not one that just sticks their logo on a watch. You can buy a cheap Casio, Citizen, or Tissot if you don't wanna spend a lot on a watch.
+Mirokism fair enough. I don't really know about these fifth watches anyway. Not my style. I have a bulova accutron, seiko, and 2 pulsars
i wear casio and timex watches , is that okay? maybe the most i can afford on my budget is a nixon .
+DonQuixotec well said
Dudes hands are fucking tiny
lol i was just thinking the same thing
i love the gentlemanly experience it brings. i feel sophisticated.
Love it
Thats absolutly true. Even today I had the same argument with my friend. It will reduce the time spend on multitasking of the smart phones. Tnx
Watches is Man-jewelry, it reflect your personality and style, and sets you apart of the wolf-pack, you will get compliments and will be noticed, be prepared to answer questions which opens conversations about your and other ppls watches
It shows others that time is important to you... And more importantly to me, it conveys that I don't like to waste it or let others waste mine.
yeah wearing watch kindah makes you feel good about yourself. it kindah gives you a boost in self confidence whenever you look at yourself in the mirror when you are walking and seeing your reflection.... it just makes you feel more positive about yourself.
hey big fan.
+gulfmen86 thanks! great suggestions
My whys to why I wear a watch
+Rasmus Hammarlund solid points Rasmus!
