Awesome result for Conor Daly, especially considering everyone else tested here earlier in the year, and he didn't. Hopefully this sets him up for a full time ride next year.
Tomorrow Daly has the chance to pass Canapino in points in 6 races while Canapino ran 11 races... Yeah everyone but the blind argentinian fan base knew the problem was not the team but the driver.
Great, great race. Herta had a great drive until his crappy luck struck. The top 3 or 4 never really lost touch with each other and traffic helped them all reel each other in at points. Great finish with Power almost getting oward in the final laps (happy oward was able to hold on). Good showcase for why Indy needs to be here. I was at both Iowa races and this first race kicked their butts. Don't know how it looked of TV but the grandstands looked pretty full (tough to tell when you are in them which I was). Seemed to be a good size crowd on the "midway" as well.
Better make sure that races at night better stay at night. For drivers' and fans' sake. It's not fun sitting in 95° heat when you want to have some drinks while watching the race. (Yes I know it was 84 and 74 sunday, I was there.) Still make everyone feel comfortable and happy. Racing will happen no matter what.

Hey NBC - Thanks for 15 minutes of highlights, but it would be nice to watch the whole race. Roger Penske screwed the pooch with this media contract. I hope FOX is better next year.
@@deantait8326 Nascar xfinity race was done long before Indy car race started. They were even advertising it on USA as a double header, even though it wasn't on USA.
