Indycar doesn't do sector cautions or virtual safety cars like in F1, either full safety cars or nothing at all and i wouldn't consider any of that nonsense on lap 62 to be worthy of a full course caution, not even the contact. Those incidents were 100% on Grosjean, not Indycar
At that point, throwing a yellow would help Grosjean for his own mistake. He was desperate to get back in so he just full sends it with no regard to the other drivers. He could have just ate the loss, waited, and got back in the fight. Instead, within seconds, his entire race is gone. Unbelievable

Pietro has a decent start finally, and that's the hand he's drawn. very unfortunate, but definitely avoidable. Dixon is too seasoned to merge back into traffic like that.

That one announcer is so unprofessional, he says "I see it this way" and the other announcer provides the counter argument, speaking for some of the fans, like a pro, then the first announcer just repeats himself again just to have the last word. If the pro kept bringing it up they would just go back and forth in a loop until they turned the microphones off.

I wondered why Grojean is so bad in IndyCar after leaving F1. F1 drivers have so many car comforts on their race cars like power steering and I'm willing to bet the more MANUAL STYLE Indycar and the INTENSE competition style of racing compared to the parade style racing of F1, i think current Indycar drivers if crossover to F1 would dominate those guys in F1.

@@the-trustees I typically watch F1, the sheer number of drivers in Indy combined with oval tracks makes me disinterested, but Portland seemed a lot more like NASCAR with how terrible the driving is. I thought Zandvoort GP was boring today but it’s much better than this amateur league race. Mistakes and stupid driving all around. Grosjean fits right in.
