Mclaughlin vs Newgarden in particular. Those 2 showed AMAZING car control in a situation that had a high probability of collision considering how close they were when side-by-side.
What a race in Nashville Superspeedway., what a finale in 2024 Indycar season. Congratulations to Alex Palou for his 3rd Indycar Title in 4 years! 😁😁😁🏆🏆🏆 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
Herta looked fast enough to catch Paro any way... but yeah, that pick play with Robb certainly helped and was spectacular. I thought Herta was going to punt Robb, it looked like he got reaaaallly close before being able to slid below him.
It's easy to think it's just 4 lefts until you realize you're going over 200 mph, at the limits of traction, and having to race your race while dealing with lapped cars racing their race.
A cracking way to end the year.👍👍👍 well done to Colton and Andretti on the win and congrats to Alex on the Championship. Bring on 2025, the month of May and the Indy 500!👍😎👍😎👍😎
Season finale needs to stay on an oval. This oval is definitely suitable. It’s a very good track. Nothing against street courses, I like all tracks. But, there is no street course that could be as entertaining as yesterday’s race. Just a fans perspective.
@@markhunt7434? that had nothing to do with the schedule or the racing. The best aspect of IRL was the fact it was only ovals. Literally everybody thinks that except you apparently, the racing was top notch.

I get how Karma couldn't let a Penske driver win the championship because of P2P-gate, but of the three Penske shoes, Will Power deserved karmic payback the least.😕
Not a bad season, but not a great season. I hope some hard questions are asked within Indy HQ over the offseason. Something needs to change, because at the moment you have some of the best drivers in the world being terribly undersold, and a premier open wheel series that relies on history to remain relevant. If Indycar can’t even sell out a race in Josef Newgardens home town what on earth are they doing? I’m with Michael Andretti on this one. Either invest, or sell. If they sell, the management will be changed. If they invest, so much change is needed its effectively a vote of no confidence in management. Whatever the outcome, just less of the same please. You can’t give any suggestions to Penske, he knows everything. But I agree with everything you said. The unwillingness to invest is mind boggling. You have to invest to grow and get potential return on investment.

It's based on race distance; it takes 206 laps to complete 266.6mi. That said, looking at wikipedia shows that previous races held here have all been the same distance (266.6mi/429.05km) but they were only 200 laps. Guess they shortened the circuit a little bit somewhere.

The race was almost completely sold out. If the stands look partially empty it’s because the ticket holders didn’t come.
