@@konalux06I don’t think you can make a 30min highlight from the races we have in Formula 1 right now. Probably a 30min team radio will be awesome for the prev race
Dixon is incredible. Herta showed his occasional flash of brilliance and dominated. If he learns how to be more consistent he could be a real contender. Great stuff as usual
A great race! Congrats to Colton and the Andretti team on a fab win. Releaved to see nobody was hurt in the accident! It is fantastic to see the great strides in safety in modern motorsport
@@tommythetreat000 for sure. I just want a title fight but Palou is just more consistent than his rivals. At least the ovals will give o'ward, newgarden, etc more of a chance
Actually it is comprehensible. Many who started in front of him crashed out and he made some moves himself. Even though he didn't win, this was one of Palou's best performances ever.
He had good pace, but he also was lucky, as many important incidents happened just in front of him and barely managed to avoid them. The race start crash and Pato's spin happened right in front of him. Then, good strategy, no mistakes and a couple good moves made the rest. That's why he's the championship leader, two times champion and one of the best active drivers.
Toronto has been Peacock only for the last 3 years. The only other scheduled Peacock race is Milwuakee 1 on Aug 31, but after what NBC did to Laguna Seca and Iowa 1, there's a good chance another race could be "moved."
I’m pretty sure power has had the most crashes this year (or someone else who I can’t remember) but I’m sure the commentators won’t say anything about that….
It is a well known fact that Australians never admit blame or own up to cheating in any sport. Will Power is just another in a long line of third rate tossers! lol from nz.
very grateful for these extended highlight videos! Hoping indycar ends up on something other than Peacock in the future, i'd love to watch live but don't want another subscription.
@@carlosangui7490According to the series, they did the FCY after Ericsson hit Pato, but there was a delay for everyone's steering wheel to get that signal and for the marshalls to put out the flags. Can't say I blame the marshalls that much because I'd be on the ground behind a barrier while that schmozzle happened.

@@racheeeed I disagree. IndyCar is a nice mixture of road courses, street circuits, and ovals. I admit that I'm not much into IndyCar ovals, but still....the road courses and street circuits provide MUCH better racing than F1.
@@LyleFrancisDelp The closer racing is enjoyable because it's a drivers series, agreed but imho a bunch of circuits are very average. The street circuits in particular are quite bumpy and narrow, which in turn makes overtaking quite a brutal affair. I watch both Indy and F1 for different reasons, Indy for driver battles and F1 for the engineering.
@danielhenderson8316 only if you don't know how to place it on the steering shafts, considering drivers do it dozens of times a weekend...no? Okay cool story bro 👍
Two things Indycar purposely does not have, power steering and traction control, compared to f1. Makes for better racing because grip changes. Also, the cars are so similar and this leads to everyone having a chance to make a pass on everyone else, as opposed to f1 where the cars themselves determines who can pass and who can defend a pass. In indycar, each driver has hundreds of choices to make a race on whether to "send it" or not, while in f1 most of the drivers know going in where, failing bad or good fortune, they will finish and have comparably very few "in the moment" 50/50 decisions to make.

what an experience to be there live, thank you indy
Imagine how great INDYCAR would be if they didn’t have commercial breaks during the race!! I’d 100% pay extra for that. What a shame :/

Why was it impressive for a steering wheel change in under 15 seconds when it takes under 1 to pop it off by design?
Because it can go back on the wrong way and the "straight" direction can be on the left or right.
