@JasonPoole-bz3jj did you not watch the race!? Any track that sees multiple lead changes in the last 2 laps with clean racing is a good track to race at, whether you like it or not yourself
I definitely like it either where it is or as the last race. Any one of the seven drivers that needed to advance could have pulled out that win. Byron maybe looked the weakest out of them all, and five were in contention in the final laps. If the 11, 12 and 45 get to racing hard, the 20 and 9 are there to pick up the pieces.
That was one of my favorite races this year. Almost every moment was heart pumping to watch. That finish was insane too. Reddick just.. DROVE. That was amazing
Nascar is having a pretty good year. There's been, what, seven or eight close, clean finishes this season - so much better than the endless overtimes we usually get when it's close at the end.
Maybe the highlights don't show them but this is why races with less cautions (preferably no stage cautions either) are the best especially on great tracks
@dev…5150 yeah, but you can’t blame him too much, after all blaney used the bottom line to pass Hamlin and so did reddick. So, my guess is that blaney expected reddick to go low
I don’t know if you realized but Blaney and Reddick both had made the bottom Stick just fine in the laps before. He reasonably understood that if Reddick dove low he would need to run higher and even if Reddick ran higher he was trying to be in a position to cover. What he didn’t account for was Reddick having a major run on the high side powerful enough to fully pass him
@@michaelbelcher8805 Guess he should have just went all the way to the bottom again if that was his strategy instead of staying in the middle lanes... was a great race I'm happy for Reddick regardless... one of the best races I've seen at that track...

Reddick didn’t hit the nos, Blaney hit the brakes. Old tires on Blaney means he has to take the corner slower though idk if he should have given up blocking. Blaney is basically in a must win situation so points don’t go very far.
I was there, terrific race, on my feet most of the race. Did anyone who was there get any video of the first 2 jets that buzzed the track? Not the official flyover. Maybe 45 minutes before racing. Out of nowhere they fly in low and hot, it was unbelievable. Would love to see footage 👋
If Reddick has to drive off into turn 1 again on those tires after he roasted them for grip he mighta flipped again. He found the absolute edge of grip and used it up like a turbo boost. Fantastic race even without that instant classic finish.
Is it that Kyle Busch has already done it all, or is his equipment just not up to the task... or both? I've been a Rowdy fan for so long when it wasn't very fashionable to be one, and still am, so why is it that he can't seem to race like the man with so many Xfinity wins that nobody will EVER replace him?
Reddick isn't my favorite. He's ONE of my favorites (my favorites are Truex and the dirt guys) but he was my championship pick and now he's got a chance! What a race!

I don't know, I miss the organic commentary, just focused on the action, no liners or punchers for the show.
Hey Marcus! Larson rallied and then blew it, ending up 13th and below the cut line! Cbell looks like a solid pick. Larson seems like he's his own worst enemy! MJ was sure happy that Tyler won!
Why is Pheonix the last race. I assume cuz its a short track so murduring peoples rear bumpers is popular. This track is amazing because its multi groove.
I think he had a hidden nos switch that he activated. Watch how quickly he passes Blaney and leaves Hamlin in his rear view mirror. The car literally shot forward at the 17:00 mark of this video. Very weird..but kinda obvious too it appears. Idk

This is why the final race of the season should be at Miami. Big track, multiple grooves, and new tires make a big difference.
and also a track raced at once a year, not as easy to gain an advantage over other drivers/teams
Miami is the worst track they race on!
@JasonPoole-bz3jj did you not watch the race!? Any track that sees multiple lead changes in the last 2 laps with clean racing is a good track to race at, whether you like it or not yourself
I completely agree. Phoenix would be fine for a playoff race, but Miami puts on a great show because of its line variety
