Thanks, Nascar, for posting the race so quickly after it was live! It seems I cannot get logged in to USA due to who provides my subscription. I went to NBC Help and got a ridiculous laundry list of things to check. I was NOT happy with NBC/USA!
Fun bit of nostalgia, the CART series in the 90s had a bonkers open wheel chassis for the era, of which the oval track package was sporting 900+hp in low downforce trim. Those cars hit 240 on this track.
Yea. I so tired of watching my favorite driver for years mired back in 15th or 16th, race after race. He did well here but had no long run speed. That hurt him in the end.
Kyle Busch would have won in the old cars. Michigan is a great example Nascar that you DON'T need restrictor plates anymore at Daytona and Talledega! The drivers know how fast they can push their cars. At least at Michigan they were able to pass more and make it more exciting!
Please NASCAR be able to adjust starting times to avoid weather. Crowd was electric to only be able to see one stage and then get postponed. I understand wanting TV viewers but damn, the people that paid to be there and get hosed when you could’ve started earlier would’ve been great. Track experience > Television.
El final estuvo entretenido, muy mala la estrategia del 43 , pudo haber entrado antes y haber tenido tiempo para avanzar. Bueno, veremos la próxima carrera. Abrazos y gracias NASCAR.
Can anyone explain why the racing here hasn’t reverted back to how it was before they repaved the track when they could run anywhere from the top to the bottom instead of this mainly single middle groove I would think it’s been long enough already maybe a new kind of pavement any ideas why?
The Aero is not even close to what it used to be! They will stay in the middle'ish until they figure it out. I.E. Hamlin spins due to lack of understanding of the aero. Ignore the commentators, they get it in the last five seconds of the Hamlin spin commentary but aren't convinced. Fact: Hamlin has good aero and a run going into the corner, and so he pushes into the corner, temporarily losses aero, and over corrects resulting in a spin. They are still learning this package with this track. IMHO.
My favorite driver finished 33rd yesterday not good because he got a flat tire and then he got in a wreck. He will win at Daytona next week Joey Logano.
Haha, he'll win because it is now OK to use the chrome horn from 50 car lengths behind. Imagine Ross rim riding but there are cars in the way. It's going to happen, this year.
Chevy has terrible quality control but the safety engineering is top notch but of course most of their best engineers are in their racing division just like the other manufacturers
Short answer, loose is grip-related, free is setup related (mainly suspension, though that applies to loose to a degree like corner weight, spring rate, camber). Other than tires and changing the braking balance, loose is easier to tune around. Free is like having a steering wheel that goes wherever it wants without control in the corners.
Hamlin's driving couch, "Geez, if you could drive like less of an A'hole at the end of the race, you might actually win more." Response, Hamlin's head explodes.
Has anyone heard about Leigh Diffey taking over for NASCAR coverage for NBC Sports in the rest of the season and maybe next year? Maybe this race is the final time they'll hear Rick Allen's calling every races.
Can make a new drivers they own Ryan preece haas factory team #14 and Sammy smith spire motor sports #70 and Matt Kenseth Legacy motor club #80 car and Cody ware Rick ware racing #52 car too. Sincerely Aiden Farmer
Oh yeah, Thank you NASCAR for putting these on yuotube for those of us who work weekends! Thank you!
full race vids are great, gotta keep these coming

I was there, working on pit road. My DVR didn't pick up the change to Monday and this is the only place I can watch the race.
This track is faster than Daytona and Talladega
Michigan has higher top speeds than Daytona and Talladega because of restrictor plates but it's not a faster track.
@@KabutoKatyou’re technically right fr

This was really good race,
Aside from a late "caution"
All in all, a good race. This new car does well at these tracks.. just wish the short track package wasn't so bad..

F1 needs to learn from Nascar. Those V8s are loud AF still.

I am so happy you came to Roblox. I just got a new NASCAR all thanks to you and I also got the new NASCAR jacket
Congrats to Reddick but man I wish Kyle Busch won
I was hoping for busch to win too
I was hoping too, this whole year since Atlanta with that three win.
he got a solid Top 5 out the day though, should've wrecked for the win
Me too same I wanted Kyle Busch to win
Same here. He even won the second stage
is anyone not talking about cory lajoy flip?
yeah... that was intense...
glad he's okay though...
Ok, so what difference is loose vs. free?!
Same thing

@@C-M-Esolid answer. Wasn’t my question, but thanks.
Denny Hamlin could easily be the best driver in Nascar, but he constantly shoots himself in the foot with really bad decisions.
Larson overall better driver than Hamlin period
Haha, yup, hahaha
