It's hard to understand how Power wasn't awarded a penalty for the contact with Malukas. We see penalties for far less in IndyCar, including the blocking penalty for Herta issued after this race...

Just commenting to say how much I appreciate NBC providing quality highlights. Many other channels cut short 5-10min videos which isn’t enough for motorsports.
Yeah sadly because of the incidents, comments about the great racing got buried. This race surprised me positively but man... Power should've been penalised already before his crash and then that restart crash should've been a penalty to someone regardless of if it was fault of Newgarden or someone behind him. That just shouldn't happen

Little Dave drove a brilliant race and it's such a shame Power moved down him and took him out. David gave him so much room going into the corner and definitely Power squeezed him onto the apron and then ultimately out of the race. 11:00 Ridiculous how this wasn't a penalty for Power. Malukas did everything to avoid the contact there, move was absolutely fair and Power definitely didn't do everything to avoid the contact. Should've been an avoidable contact penalty for Power
gateway moment lmao, they had the front stretch lights go out last night on lap 1 of the USAC silver crown race. I was also at the NASCAR truck race in 2021 where the lights went out. Why does this keep happening at a track with "technology" in the name.
OK, ALL im hearing about the massive wreck is them saying someone checked up, maybe Rossi jumped it and this and that. NOOO, POINT BLANK, Newgarden FUMBLED THE START. We ALL sawthe green light come on and he had a perfectly clear look at it. This was Newgardens fault
In Indycar rules, green flags mean everyone can go fast, even if the leader is still slow (which was how Palou fanned out immediately & avoided the wreck)
The number of spectators seems to have suffered a sharp decline. Before 2018, these stands were full. Now there are so many empty stands. I doubt they can still make a profit. Local events are not always profitable, they have only been profitable for a few years.

Power was correct in double birding Newgarden. Indy HQ has the data, they know that Newgarden was fluctuating his speed. He should have had a drive-through penalty.

Power is Indy's #3. He does what he want's to the whole field & blames them for his F%@k ups
Who does he drive for??
Power absolutely pinched Malukas into the kerbs, Malukas had nowhere to go. Power should have got a stop go penalty.
Rewatch Francheatti with Sato at Indy a number of years back. Same deal. Francheatti is a "hero" for it.
