I feel they still have their peak album left.

I love this song to death but it doesn't belong at the end of their biopic it would have to be good riddance had the time of your life you have to admit it's one of their best acoustic songs and that's how you would end biopic of Green Day

As I sit here in 2023, this song has made me cry.
Man…this is definitely one of the best live bands out there you almost can't tell the difference between the studio recording and this performance
+The Handsome Nipple™ Its crazy because its not even that. Thy are literally better in live performance. Thats something I've never been able to say about any band before. to me the studio versions are more dull compared to live. Making you feel alive, and pumped is what Green day does best, and it achieves that best when it feels real, and its live.

Let me explain what autotune does: It takes the pitch you sing and makes it constant. See: He sings in a falsetto but he can't sustain the pitch and volume.
Autotune makes him stay at the same pitch and volume.
Got it?
The MTV performance 2009 was without auto tune at the beginning of "cons" and you can here the obvious difference to those versions with autotune.
But it really isn't hard to recognize so I don't get your problem.

This is by far my favorite live performance of Green Day. Billie Joe gets the crowd so pumped up, it’s musically on point, everything about it is awesome. I’ve seen this band 5 times and each time gets better and better. I remember going to see them when they toured for this album and I was completely blown away
Damn man, so glad you love 'em! People can say what they want about 'em, but Green Day are a real, no-bullshit rock-n-fuck-n-roll band, and have been for right bloody long as many (most?!) of their fans have been alive! :)
I had to miss the 21st Century Breakdown tour here in Australia because my stupid ex girlfriend's stupid brother had to have his stupid engagement party on that day. I'm pretty glad I cheated on her as many times as I did. But mostly I'm devvo at missing the tour of one of my favourite albums of all time :(

I listen to obnoxiously heavy variations of metal, primarily...yet I must concede that, of the HUNDREDS of vocalists I've seen perform truly difficult songs live -- both on RUclips and in person -- Billie Joe Armstrong is, without even the slightest inclination of doubt, the BEST and most consistent vocalist I have ever seen. What makes it even more incredible is the fact that they play 20-30 song sets, and he never once appears to fall flat or make mistakes. He is a legend. A Green Day live performance is something truly special and deserving of the most emphatic recognition.
Daniel Varney very true, saw them in april this year in minnesota and they still kicked ass and sound great

One of my favourite gigs ever, I remember completely losing my shit at 3:35 with the rest of the crowd, amazing to relive it, can't wait for next tour so I can see them for a 7th time :)

As far as touring goes, I don’t think there’s any question. There’s a professionalism to them with this era that’s kind of all-business, been-there-done-that precision you can see with every video from this era. Billie looks awesome, sounds better and works the crowds as good as any point. Was lucky to see them twice on this tour, once in the 2nd row at Lollapalooza.

I couldn't help but notice that Billie never said the word "hero", probably because he doesn't want fans to think of him as one. That's one of the many things I love about him. He's very humble. But like it or not, Billie Joe Armstrong is my hero and will be for the rest of my life.

Still - 2Me there are 2Different Green Days - B4 American Idiot/21st Century Breakdown - & Then AFTER those Albums. From A GR8 PUNK ROCK Band to a More ROCK PUNK band. Early Stuff With Just the 3 of them is more Basic Punk "Kick Yer ass & Leave Ya for dead" While The latter has More "Catchy" Kind of Stuff. I Love 'em BOTH - But Definitly Different albums for Different Moods.

This has to be one of their best live performances that’s on RUclips. Sound quality of both Billie and Mike, quality of ALL of the instruments, how true it is to the studio version, and just how energetic both the band is and how energetic the crowd is. It’s amazing
