That's how musical careers worked in Eastern Germany back then. To get acknowleged as a musician you had to go to a musical college and get a degree. That's what he says about much being about sports back then as every stateowned comany had its own sports compartment but music was hard to get in professionally. Also the lyrics were strictly watched by the government. Everything remotely not approved was banned and maybe even imprisoned as an enemy of the state. That's why Rock music from that time (known as 'Ostrock' / 'Eastern Rock') is known for its cryptic lyrics about freedom using many metaphors. So yeah, shame they didn't elaborate on that as it's quite an interesting and twisted subject.
Kruspe's face when he says "Ramm-STIEN" is priceless.

Richard is an amazing guitar player but I love his bandmate oliver, he inspired me to pick up the bass
kyle acunia Oliver is an amazing bassist. He fits in, just like the others do.
Ollie is little genius. Seemann is just fantastic.

Hallo. Ich möchte mich für Ihre liebevolle Unterstützung wie und Kommentar in meinem Leben und meiner gesamten Karriere bedanken.
Notice at the end of the interview, Richard displays perfect manners by standing up to shake Grahm's hand. America can use a good lesson on manners.
Yeah, what an ass.
I do that after sex
Thats europe. Ive never seen anyone shake hands while sitting. Thats rude and stupid.
@@fearnobeer9077 😂😂
America is different in many customs from Europe, by design (all the 19th century really, didn't start 're-anglicizing' until after WW1 and into WW2), however it is proper to at least make a half-attempt to stand from a chair when someone is shaking hands, but the complication here may have been the bar-stool. I have never ever seen anyone get up off a bar stool to shake hands, it is generally done in passing or whatnot and standing up off a bar-stool to shake hands would be weird even if one person wasn't sitting.
Fact or Fiction with Till linderman plz

One of my favorite bands, and this interview was awesome. I wanna go see them before I die.
Gotta love how Richard appreciated Gruhamed speaking German at the very beginning.
Met Richard at Chicago Open Air 2016 and got his autograph. Such a humble and cool dude
