Yep, this is the "Zebra Mini Mechanical Pencil, 0.5 mm, Silver Body (TS-3)" as listed on Amazon here: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...
I'm pretty amused by it's size. The product description says that it is "convenient to carry" but I don't really remember the last time someone complained to me about regular pencils being "too bulky." I like it because it's minimalist and metal, and I'm kinda into that right now, and it's also different, which makes for an interesting conversation piece. Plus, it worked just fine, which is really good for novel pens, and not always the case.

My napping technique involves lying down "for a minute" and then waking up 4 hours later fully clothed with the lights on
Lest we forget the discombobulation while waking up. "Wait, what day is it? Am I on earth? Did I sleep for a week? If a bag is called Skittles, you take one out, is the lone skittles called a skittle? Or still skittles?" But that could just be me.
Literally what happens to me every time I run out of sleep debt.

Kerstie Sweeney Yea, it makes for a fun reaction, at least with a slight pause after the «no» :D
Peter accidentally invents ASMR gloves. All the ASMR channels are suddenly wearing bubble wrap gloves next week.
My napping technique contains several tosses and turns until eventually I give up and go play with my dog
Yeah I do the toss and turn and give up thing too sometimes

I kinda wondered about the safety glasses, but then you told us about that dream and it all made perfect sense.
My napping involves removing my cat from MY SPOT on the floor where the sun comes in, curling up on my left side and letting the heat from the sun warm me up right through the bones. Waking up whenever the sun moves to make me cold again. Annoyed, with carpet marks on my face.
I was so entertained by your glove making that I forgot you had a new pencil to draw with.
Why waste an hour of your time making plastic glove when you can just go buy gloves 10x time better

I drew a sketch of Jimi Hendrix this morning but I started out trying to sketch my pet conure. Lol
I've never heard of a conure but it sounds cute
@@peter_draws hey Peter this is important and pertains to your Sog Dog methods. I highly advise you to try to place the buns over the boiling dogs to steam the buns. This way it gets perfectly moist and hot without ever over - or under - sogging the sog dog. The buns won't get mushy and fall apart, yet they are still moist.
Also the sog dog video has 666 comments.

“does anyone else here beeping outside” as he talks to himself. Man I appreciate the dedication.
I heard the beeping. Just me?
It's snowing here in Colorado so I thought it was melting and making dripping noise. But it's 9:00pm and freezing outside so it couldn't be that ,. Then I realized it was coming from my tablet. Then I realized it was Peter making that noise.
Fully thought the beeping was coming from my house and someone was burning toast or something
I have always liked Zebra pens and mechanical pencils, for more than 30 years. They're not so expensive and are very well-constructed. This example seems perfect for wire-bound notebooks that you might keep in a shirt or jacket breast pocket. (edited to correct typo)
So hard to find Zebras but always liked their pens too. Don't think I've tried their pencils. I can't believe he didn't run out of pencil lead. Must come with extras. I didn't know they were from japan
Some of the less known pentel are really nice such as the orenz nero. But I really like the zebra delguard l
Tip for assorted needle packets: each section is a different type of needle. Some needles are better at piercing through thicker fabrics, or in this case, plastic. If you turn it over, there will sometimes be a list of which needles are which.
Sharp needles for piercing, and slightly rounded needles to sort of wiggle between threads of fabric without cutting it, I think. It's been awhile
@@recoveringsoul755 generally that's the case. Size of needle sometimes matters, to prevent making too many or too large holes in woven fabric.

I feel like hands are so hard to draw but they should be easy to draw because that's what I'm using to draw with but the most challenging thing for me to draw are hands. I feel like this might be ironic 😁
Erica Joy i feel this very strongly tbh
Yes, too many joints and if I'm right handed I can maybe only learn to draw the left hand.
Learn the anatomy of the hand, the best way to get better is to study where the hand bends and turns
Watching him try to get the glove on made me so uncomfortable lol
Anyone else think this guy would make a great roommate? Hey Peter, I see you've replaced my winter mittens with an amazon package... thanks, man.
I love how with every video and every picture you draw, you simotiously add to the Peterverse. My mind is just in awe of how your drawings are actually real things in another dimension. They are so fascinating
My napping technique is watching videos fully intending to stay awake and waking up and realizing that auto-play played through an entire 60 part series
My napping takes place in the horizontal orientation. The nap length is usually 5’10”. As I am a proponent of full body napping.

Peter, you never fail to inspire me. I need to divide my paper into smaller canvases like you are doing. I feel intimidated by the big white before I start. You continue to bring joy to me every time I watch a video.❤️

I bought a Moonman C1 Demonstrator because of your video and gotta say, this is my new favorite fountain pen. So satisfying to use.
Great timing! I bought a two pack of these exactly one year ago. I swore I would keep them from a long time. Lost them both in less than a week.
Comes for tiny pencil... stays for the production of a surprise glove
I like seeing how you warmed up more as you drew. It's a good reminder to me that my art style won't always come out on the first try.
Also that dream sounded scary and I'm sorry your brain did that to you
That’s how I draw now because I never need to sharpen the pencil due to rotations. My fine artwork has been given a boost.
Oh my goodness, you are so funny. You stuck with it and did not give up. Two thumbs up.
In all of these review videos theres a moment where im half expecting him to right "help" instead of "hello"
The best part of that glove (other than the fact that you spent like an entire day or more threading it into a glove) is all the strings hanging off of it at the end. I feel like the threads show that you put some love into it (or just hours). And the beeping in the background confirming your sanity.
I did, in fact, just sign up with Squarespace after being with another hosting service for like 10 years because they only offered Wordpress as a website builder and ain't nobody got time for that. So, thanks to you and others that encouraged me to switch, whydobirds.net looks pretty nice now. I think.
Your style comes through with whatever you're doing. I know pencil isn't your thing but I can see your methods of shading and it actually inspires me (a pencil doodler) in my own stuff. You actually inspired me back in the day to experiment with watercolors and that's pretty much all I do now. Just shapes and colors and ink and stuff.
Keep on keepin' on, Peter.
Almost all my naps are accidental, but when they happen i wake up very confused.
I wish I had enough brain power to make a 23 minute video on a mechanical pencil.
It probably takes more brainpower to trim it down to the pertinent bits
Honestly, Peter has created his own mood.
I had a mini heart attack when it looked like he was going to cut the package with his hand still on it.
Sitting in the office trying not to laugh watching you put on the glove 😄 thank you for making this slow morning more tolerable!🙏
Also I think every asmrtist needs a pair.
I was thinking that too. There is a real market for crinkly gloves!!
😄 Cheap boxed hair dye has cheap crinkly gloves. But I'm sure these would give a nice sound too 😄
I'm just amazed and impressed that a bachelor type like Peter even HAS a sewing kit.
The moment Peter picked up the Xacto knife I was sure he'd slice his hand off.
Cool intro, amazing thumbnail as always. Love the videos, Photographer, Film Maker, Editor, Artist, Student, Author, Fashion Designer, Chef Extroadinair... Is there anything he can't do?
Peter was very creatively inpired during this video, the glove and the drill test and the random protection glasses thing. Specially the panel slideshow that went absolutely crazy at the end, that was really interesting
Woooo..that ticking is really loud. Soothing :) awesome review :)
Bob says " Theres no mistakes only happy accidents."
This is random but I love how relatable Peter is. Like most youtubers put on a face for the camera but Peter is just himself. It's a nice change :)
Hahahahah "we put a bandaid on it". While her eye was just cored like an apple. Good stuff!!!
My technique starts with a big meal. Nothing like napping when you're full. For naps I generally lay on my back although I can do either side comfortably as well. I go for the mummy pose. My ideal nap length is 60-90 minutes. I like napping for a full hour but I feel like if I only have 60 minutes available I tend to worry about not being able to fall asleep on time and end up just getting 40 minutes or failing the nap alltogether (I wake up not being sure wether I fell asleep at all).
You are the embodiment of chaotic good. And I love it. Never change.
I came here for the writing instruments, but I stayed for the comedy.
It looks like those sheets could also be used for some kind of storyboarding or something as well for an animation or something
Just bought my first muji pen because of your video, love it man, even got some of that platinum carbon black ink and the converter! New EDC!
Nice! That’s the way to go!
Xionik How much is that? I’ve been drawing with a black gel pen forever..lol
He just made a glove out of that package for no fucking reason I love it
I bought this one two years ago for my RPG dice bag, as I often forget my pencils at home.
It's not a waste of time if you enjoy yourself!
Struggeling with the needles took the fun out of it
My weird thing about my dreams in the past few years is that I have like a dream cannon. I don't mean something that shoots dreams at people, but that in my dreams, I have gone back to college, then I took one last high school class and was then able to get into University (different here in Canada than in the US.)
Currently, I am in fashion design school. I completed my fine art degree and I am excited to make clothes for people and for dolls.
And that's all in various dreams throughout the years.
In real life, I had to drop out of college due to funding, and I am disabled and in a wheelchair and bedridden. I did apply to a fiber arts program at the local art university about 12 years ago, and I got in, but the money that I owed to my old school came back and bit me in the butt, forcing me to pass up on my acceptance. Basically, I was accepted based on my portfolio, but the school needed my transcripts from my past school, and the past school wouldn't release it until I paid them back. Which I very much can't afford to do.
But in my dream, I'm still going to school and pushing for that career in fashion design.
That is so cool, not the money hindering part. I used to collect dolls, like ones that were I think about 15 inches tall. Lots of people would repaint them, do their hair and make custom clothes and shoes for them. About all I could do was simple jewelry. A doll sized necklace is so much faster than a person one.
Maybe you should post some art content on RUclips! Maybe your dreams are trying to tell you something 😊 You are clearly talented to have gotten accepted. Wish you the best 😊
Circumvent the debt by creating an online presence? Perhaps you could make your dreams come true if you 'attack' them from a different angle
Same! I have a canon for the dreams where I am "me" and also real life places are different in my dreams but consistent, so it's always the same differences
@@IHateNumbersOnNames that's the plan! I'm working on prints to sell as we speak. I'm not well enough to make clothes right now, so I'm making art instead. I had previously realized a secondary dream of being a published author, butbuad or give upon continuing that because I can't sit and type for hours anymore. It causes me too much pain.
Because of that, though, and because I have an already active instagram account, with a small, but healthy following, and marketing knowledge, I feel like I'm on my way in that direction. I just need to finish the collection I'm working on, so I have something for sale. I'm also working on a colouring book simultaneously.
Bro 1917 was so amazing, I'm really glad you saw it and liked it
I just recently got one of these, about a month ago or so. I was one of those weird kids who used to pull the ink refill out of a ballpoint pen and just write with that, back when I was in school (back in the stone age and ballpoint pens were pretty new). They also used to send little pencils about this size over all but about as big around as your after Pilot G2 rollerball refill with bulk advertising mail. I don't remember what they were advertising or trying to sell, but my grandmother used to get them and left me have the pencils when I was REALLY young (so this is probably nearly 60 years ago!).
But, after trying this pencil, I have to say I may have found a pencil that is actually TOO small for me to use comfortably. I would probably have fallen in love with it when I was 6, like the little ad pencils, but at 65 and with arthritis, it's just not comfortable, or to use your word, satisfying to use for drawing or writing.
You should put up a link for the sewing kit!
you are so strange, yet so relatable. i love your channel!
It doesn't matter the size of the pencil, but the quality of the drawing
"you can hide it in the palm of your hand... you know, if your into hiding things in the palm of your hand" 😂😂
The only things I remember from my naps is waking up in a daze, not knowing if it’s day or night, future or past or present, and the only thing on my mind being a thirst for w a t e r
Peter, if you lick the end of the thread when you are threading the needle, it gives a fine edge and almost instantly works.
I had hysterics/giggles when you made that glove and tried to thread the needle. Well, even before, as you were tracing around your hand, because I am a seamstress among other odd things, like....well I used to think I was slightly artistic but Peter has taught me that I am waaaaaay too realistic and...but I digress. That glove was priceless. I had already subbed. Had I not already subbed, I would have then.
I love that pencil. I would consider methods of, uh, the thing is, I love miniatures that work. Because you can have more miniatures than maxiatures. For the given space. So, I have to get that pencil, meaning one like it, because I am an honest person who does not consider illegal or immoral methods of steal, uh, I mean, borrowing permanently other people's things.
I kinda hoped this sentence was gonna end in "giant shit", not gonna lie :D
totally, I was thinking..."say it, say it Peter!" ha, would have been an epic intro
As I work night shifts my naps can be anywhere between 30 mins and 6 hours. I usually sleep on my side and switch them so often that my bed sheet gets loose and all tangled into my limbs. I also have waist-lenght hair that sometimes starts to strangle me.
Another way to thread a needle instead of Burt force jamming it in the hole is to place the eye of the need on top of the string on top of your hand or wrist, make it sort of like a t, and rub the needle back and forth, eventually the thread will pinch up in the eye and sort of make a loop
Pure off topic : thx to your video i started a new ink addiction :)
