I believe the most shocking win of Argentina over New Zealand was in 2024 when the south Americans defeated the All Blacks in New Zealand scoring 38 points. The largest ever the AB received at home.
that is quite correct, with the highest (38) dropped on the AB's, however the first victory had an element of shock, actually we do have a video, that looks at the AB you talk about. In 2024 Argentina did create a historic moment by beating The Boks, AB's and Wallabies in a single window and being the first to do so!! thanks for commenting and please subscribe
The loss to England at Twickenham in 2013 where Manu Tuilagi destroyed their backline and the loss to Argentina this year were both shock losses for me
1995 RWC Final was their biggest shock I think. they never thought SA would get up for it. After that there are a few vs Ireland, SA, France, Argentina ... yeah
is this the Zinzan drop kick game, Stranksy drop as well, no yeah bro ya totally right, so many games to choose from….even the Eng semi 2 World Cups ago I expected Eng to win, but not in the manner they did
That thrashing we got in 1992 against Sydney has to be up there. Munster in 1978 as a few have mentioned. That first defeat to England on the 1935/36 tour 13-0 and the 17-0 third test thrashing against South Africain 1937. Lianelli in 1972, there is a great documentary on that. France at the 1999 WC, we'd thrashed them by 50 points at the last game at Athletic Park earlier in the year and that infamous QF loss to them in 2007 are a few that spring to mind.
very comprehensive list!wow‼️ I do recall a viewer talk about the Munster game, I defo know about Llanelli game, France ‘99, the Sydney game I’m not familiar with, as young boy I remember my Fiji drawing against Sydney(Poidevin and Co) and we beat QLD in Suva(they were some famous QLDer. I know about this because that Fiji team was all from my High School Club, Marist Old Boys ( the biggest club in Fiji) btw. make sure to subscribe ✅
@@ClutchRugbyXV Done. Thanks for the reply. Guess you would know that we only beat Fiji by a point in 1974, and of course you went on to beat the Lions in 1977. The Lianelli documentary (it's on You Tube) is called 'We Beat the Al Blacks'. By the way thought you were English because of the video commentary.
@@petedudson6671 ahh, Yes Suh, Clutch is a team...Ditto that '74, we do have a traditonal folk song about the '77 Lions victory. Captained by Fiji's greatest ever player No. 10 Pio Bosco (also from my Old Boys club), played for The 'Quinns way back in the day. I must congratulate you on your amazing grasp of Rugby History!!! Bula Vinaka ✊
The most winningest sports team in any sport in the world just shows how good they are. It's a fact that no other sports team is better in case you weren't aware.
Sir, I had to look that one up! 🔭 Appreciate your educated Rugby Knowledge🎓🎓....Clutch Rugby proudly did mention the Man of The Match in that Ireland - ABs game was Munster Captain Peter O'Mahoney!!!! please like and subscribe to the Channel. We are proud of our Rugby savvy viewers.
It just goes to show no team can win all the time. That is a fact.I guess to put it into perspective you would have to look for "? times other international teams were stunned"

Shows how great they've been for so long that it is rare to find shock losses. Unbelievable win percentage

The most winningest sports team in any sport in the world just shows how good they are. It's a fact that no other sports team is better in case you weren't aware.
