There's something about Jimmy Gopperth's kick at 3:14 - it's the angle, the strike, the way he walks screaming all tensed rather than running - it's utter drama and I remember loving that win for Wasps (not even a Wasps fan)
A couple missing: O'Garas drop goal to beat Northampton after a million phases.....and then doing the exact same thing against Castres the following week
Ever since that Japan loss in 2015, the Boks have been on a rampage. Slotting both following world cups. It was and still is, one of the biggest upsets in sports history. But I fear it created a monster.
Great compilation. The capuozzo/padovani try still makes me smile every time I watch it. Even though I'm Welsh Ive always considered Italy my second team and its nice to see the underdogs win... Why don't you make an underdogs win compilation?
As an aussie i watched that japan south africa game alone at 4 am. When they scored i just ran around my house. Craziest sporting moment i’ve ever witnessed.
a great compilation of games that did go down to the wire. I guess a part 2 is inevitable lol. Matches that could be added : Wales vs. Ireland in 09 (Six Nations), The Try From The End of the World, Australia vs. France in the RWC 87 and basically the last 3 Champions Cup Final (2022, 2023 & 2024) were Leinster lost it either in extra-times or with 2-3 minutes remaining.
That try from Ntamack 2years ago against La Rochelle in the top 14 final should be there, bro was literally playing his worst rugby he ever played and decided keep his head up and score that 60m try at 77’ to win the ship, still a great video full of great moments, keep up the work fam
It's too good of a video to make only 1 🤩 When you get around to part 2, please include Ntamack's wondertry in the 2023 Top 14 final. Preferably with him missing a simple penalty to the touchline just a couple of minutes before. Thanks!
That was a killer for me as an Irish man. Johnny missed the kick and I just knew as soon as he missed it. I had this bad feeling. I’m waiting all my life for this and talk about a hart break. It was so sore.
@@Hateeveryone4cku It's not as painful now that we have a few wins over the kiwis haha, especially the Series win in 2022 was a real accomplishment, however they've knocked us out of the last 2 world cups now, safe to say we have a proper rivalry now, well at least I hope the kiwis see it that way too. The All blacks are the greatest team in the history of the game, and to have their respect, says a lot about how far Irish rugby has come.
Unfortunately I had the Ikeys - Pukke video pencilled in for #2 but it's been blocked worldwide so the video wouldn't have been visible if I'd included it - real shame
This video showcases again how much a good kicker is worth. On top of that if he's good at drop kicks. Just imagine Handre Pollard dealing out DKs the way he's nailing penalties and so on
5:02 "World Rugby conceded that the referee (Joubert) made an error to award a penalty". But strangely World Rugby NEVER conceded that this referee made errorS during RWC2011 final in favor of NZ (and will never concede that referee made errorS during RWC2023 quarter final in favor of RSA). A diplomatic way to send France to hell.
this might be an unpopular opinion but I do not like this thing of a game going on forever beyond 80 minutes until the ball is dead. i do understand the drama, and the skill and concentration to keep the ball live and moving forward, but a game of rugby is meant to be 80 minutes - two 40-minute halves - and stretching the game out to 82, 85 or 90+ minutes goes against the spirit of the game. for me, at least. win your game within the 80 minutes.
it does end at 40/80 minutes. the thing is, it wouldnt be fair to wistle an attack just because you reached the 80th minute, you let it finish until something happens (knock on, lineout, try..). The team who is winning can shoot the ball out of the field after reaching the 80 minute and the game is over, and if you are winning and do not have possession of the ball, just try to recover it without foul play and kick it out of the field. If you keep doing foul play the game is on. Foul plays wont be helping the game to finish, it would be too much of a reward for those that commit foul play.
Awesome compilation. If you want an all time great have a look at this comeback in the varsity cup in 2014, Pukke vs UCT: ruclips.net/video/8E4lNBb1UuQ/видео.htmlsi=PBYDj8J94GBQDpAr
I intended to include that at number two but it was unfortunately blocked worldwide so the video wouldn't have been visible to anyone - real shame as it's an absolute classic!
It’s hard to watch games that go to the wire when your team is involved. But there are some real gems.
Just commentated my club losing a Grand Final on the bell. Great game and we did really well but still hurt like hell.
The anxiety levels of all South africans after the three 1 point World Cup knockout games was unmatched
Yesterday I watched my team Quins vs Saracens, I has a heart attack
Thank you, Mr Forde, for the Italian commentator.
Ireland vs Wales '09 grand slam is right up there - ROG drop goal, then Jones inches short with a penalty. First Irish slam for 61 years
Prior to that, Jones had a drop as well. It was drop-drop-penalty, but the penalty thankfully was short. I could barely watch it.
Ireland DG after 41 phases in the pouring rain in Paris, takes some beating, but always had to be Japan vs SA...brilliant brilliant still.

Being there as a wasps fan, wow it was incredible. I still get goosebumps watching it back.

CIARAN FRAWLEY YOU LEGEND RAAAAHHHHHHH IRELAND
Loving the simple context added to the clips. Seen the people asking and you delivered. Top man. 💯
Another brilliant upload from a man who knows his rugby inside out. Class. 👌😎

I remember seeing Marcus Smith with that drop goal. I was devastated.
Also the Italian commentary was amazing.

As much as it pains me to say it… La Rochelle v Leinster in 2022, camped on the Leinster line for what felt like 20 mins is another one
Was delighted for Coops against SA
FRAvSCO in 2021 6N had an outstanding finish. As a neutral, i really enjoied it
Great video, brings back lots of feels.
It's too good of a video to make only 1 🤩

3:53 still certain that loosehead started off headed inward in that scrum.
A compilation of people being clutch
That Scotland Australia game was the biggest match fox I’ve ever seen, Australia didn’t deserve the penalty
Ryan Crotty's try and Cruden's conversion vs Ireland in 2013 to complete the 14 - 0 annual record by the ABs should be there.
That was a killer for me as an Irish man. Johnny missed the kick and I just knew as soon as he missed it. I had this bad feeling. I’m waiting all my life for this and talk about a hart break. It was so sore.
Oh and what ROG done for the lions I felt so bad for him that day!

A good compilation. South African fans will note the omission of Ikeys beating Pukke in the Varsity Cup final, as well as Pukke beating Stellenbosch.

Frawley legend for 🫨🫨 those Saffas 😂
Will Butt’s try for Bath vs Leicester could also easily get into this video. Aerial into the corner last minutes of the game.

The best was saved till last here!
Excellent video
The last one is the most talked about in recent history.
Please do part 2 of last minute rugby moments that got dramatic
Rugby, hell of a game aint it? All the way till the final whistle!
How the Ntamak try for Top 14 2023 isn't here!
There is a tension about close games that only rugby has.
Rémy Baget against Racing for Bayonne last year.
Last minute try to win the game for Bayonne who was losing by 17pts 20min before.
Does Capuozzo's try also mark the first italian win in Wales?
@@valerioguglieri9248 yes!
It was Padovani who actually scored. Poor Edoardo is always forgotten about 😄
Saved the best game for last! Not even the TAB could've picked that result.
Too many of these games involve Wales 😂😂
Let's be honest, every South African knew Japan was gonna be on here the second we saw the thread title
I love me a good drop-goal :D
You can add all Bayonne games
Excellent #1
Really.. you had to put in the Craig Joubert clip 😭
Can we talk about pollards clutch conversion in the first vid
Wrong commentary for Ireland drop goal against France. “It’s spinning, It’s spinning!!!”
La Rochelle vs Leinster for the 2022 Champions Cup final.
I know that these are all rugby union moments, but some 7s moments would have been nice too. Good video all around though.
st josephs hunters hill vs st ignatius college 2018
How do you not put the 95 wc final in there.
Scots getting to @4:45 Hahahaha NOPE. [Skip 30]
Jonny Wilkinson?
No Shane v Scotland?
Le Drop? How is it missing? Did I miss it?
Le drop?

It wasn’t.
It was a penalty try
why you doing that with the ads

What about that France Wales game that finished on 100 minutes? Where was that?
In the video?
@@davel704 Yes but I saw it was a 6 Nations match. I think it happened in 2017 was it? I am not sure
Yes it's in the video.
