Fiji losing on that last pass against Wales still makes me well up. When they absolutely deserved it and fought so so hard... The pain that comes from sport eh.
At school they teach you that, there is higher probability of scoring when playing the ball down the line vs skipping all the way to the wing when you have an overlap.
What's even dumber is the slomo shows the touch judge looking right at him dropping the ball (he was in super low squat/lunge position as well) & he didn't have the stones to make the call then & there. Thankfully that ref is a boss & didn't buy that Hogg-wash of try celebration 😂😂

That last mistake by Dupont actually cost us the first place in the 6 nations tournament that year, England got a penalty kick and with this won a defensive bonus point and the title.
That first one was Steven Donald missing touch for the win. Oz came back to win. He was trashed by the NZ media/fans (unfairly in my view) and never played for the ABs again. Until. Dan Carter was injured in the 2011 RWC, and Steven got the call up while out whitebaiting. Aaron Cruden was injured in the final, and Steven pulled on the jersey (that was a couple of sizes to small by then), kicked a penalty to put ABs in front, then tackled his heart out and ABs won the cup. It's a story worth a movie.
My number one pick is a game I'll never forget! Sharks vs Bulls in the 2007 Super Rugby Final. First ever all South African Final and no South African has ever won it up to this point. Sharks at home, were up by 6 points against the Bulls and in possession! The ball goes to the fly half (I think it was Butch James) who then kicks it down field. Now the Sharks had a very good forward pack so you're left thinking why the f*** not run the clock down?! Bull collect and run it through a few phases. The clock is just about on 80 minutes and their carrier makes a small break and then proceeds to grubber the ball away. Bulls fans must have been klapping their heads with the Klippies bottle think Wat die F**?!!!!! Francois Steyn catches the ball and then proceeds to kick it straight out of touch and hand the Sharks their first ever Super Rugby Title... IS WHAT SHOULDHAVE HAPPENED! Steyn collects and in a moment of madness kicks it straight down the field. Bulls collect and run it through a few phases and get to the Sharks 22. The ball gets thrown wide to Habana who is with barely any support. The ENTIRE Sharks backline and some more , dash across the field to cover the outside but completely neglect to cover the inside. Habana of course cuts inside and jogs through the biggest defensive gap you will ever see to score the try right under the sticks. The madness stops there as the conversion goes over and the Bulls take it. Was one of the best Super Rugby seasons I've ever watched.
Botica kicked that ball deliberately. He joined the opposition the next season. Which had already been announced before the final. It wasn't a mistake.
Can someone explain to me what the player did wrong @9:26. He decided to defend by deliberately knocking the ball dead. Did he have to make an attempt to catch it?
Easy one. He was yellow carded, and while he was heading to the sideline he's grabbed the ball & thrown it away - delaying the game restarting. After reviewing the footage, the ref has given Faf a yellow card for that offence, which means he upgraded himself to a red card & a permanent seat on the sideline (instead of the initial 10 mins for the original yellow card offence).
It takes a real idiotic editor to put a large watermark obstructing the top left side where the scores are. Why put the watermark on the footage at all? It is all stolen from other channels.
Was it Kinghorn last week who tried to catch a penalty kick that came short of goal but knocked it on under the crossbar? And then the other team (should be UBB) scored a try after the 5m scrum. One of the most stupid things I've seen. Still not dumb enough to beat Brice Dulin though.
@@x-latetv-x6816 No if you listen to the audio Raynal tells the Aussies to play like five times & they delay delay delay until he has had enough. Not biased just a harsh decision.

The forward pass over the tryline (10:56) is the funniest thing I've ever seen in a rugby match.
Treu 😂😂😂
It was hilarious 😂
Guarantee that Tietjens made them suffer for it at the next training session tho 😅😅
The ref's face when he calls it lmao "sorry I have to do this lads but I don't make the rules"

The audacity for Stuart hog to even celebrate and fool his way to a try at 2.30 is crazy

more the fault of Haouas deciding to go goblin mode whenever he sees a scotsman tbf

Great compilation. Could you move the GG Rugby logo to the other side away from covering the score🫶💪
For sore will do it
That's a lot of fun right there - thank you !
The fumble at 4:40 was legendary.
6:40 would be nice if we could see the score 🙄
The fact that Stuart Hogg celebrated that try, that's actually ridiculous
Radradra's knock on against wales still gives me nightmares to date.
me too
Oooh these mistakes cost them matches thanks gg
❤️❤️
Billy Burns short Irish career ends. 7:56
Hogg was always been a bit of an ass. Celebrating when he knew he hadn’t scored to over celebrating for small wins. 2:40
Can’t agree more
What a drama collection, nice work.
Stealing matches are always fun to watch.
Did they film employing Eddie Jones?
@williamelliott2018 I did not had that footage 🤣🤣

Had a funny one in a local game recently. Attacker was tackled on the 5m line and ref awarded a try. Thought he was on the tryline :)

You're not allowed to deliberately throw or hit the ball out, or deliberately knock it on.
The same issue happened in the very next clip too
