  • 👓👀 Awareness Of Blinking 👀👓
👁️ Blinking refreshes the eyes with tear fluid and is a natural part of how vision works.
👁️ Doing close-up work such as working on a computer or reading is known to decrease the blinking rate.
👁️ This can lead to an uncomfortable sensation of dryness in the eyes.
👁️ It's helpful to be conscious of your blinking rate when doing close-up work so that dry eye doesn't occur. If it does, take a break for a while.

It looks like endmyopia is gaining power; more and more channels are talking about reversing myopia; one day this will be mainstream.

But you khow aparantly babies only blink like once every minute - so this made me rethink whether blink rate really is the reason for dry eyes.

Do these exercises work if someone has had cataract surgery? I still need to wear glasses (although a much weaker prescription). I would love to sharpen my vision as it should have been with the lens replacement. Your thoughts.

I'm glad you find my videos useful. You're absolutely right, relearning how to use your eyes the way they are designed to be used leads to good things.

Just found your channel and I love it. I'm due to have cataract surgery next week and having a lense inserted for long distance, so, do you think I can still do these exercises after surgery to improve my close up vision? Thanks for any suggestions.God bless
Can you do these exercises or any eye exercises after cataract surgery?

Thanks for your kind words and I'm glad you like the channel. As I'm not an eye doctor, I cannot give any advice about post-surgery protocols. Best to check that with your doctor.
Also, I don't have experience with improving close up vision, my experience is with myopia. However, I would be surprised if using active focus to improve close-up didn't work. I have heard of others doing it and I've also heard anecdotal experience from older people who maintained or improved their close-up vision without following any formal programs.
Best of luck with the surgery and hope all goes well.
