My first job, in the industrial U.S. South in the 1970's, was as a Vending Attendant. I stocked, inventoried, and maintained large banks of vending machines at large companies. Later, I prepared the dinners and sandwiches food for the vending machines. I liked my job, but it was nothing like this. My clients loved even the limited variety. I am envious of what you are experiencing.
Mike: This is the best thing out of a vending machine! Mike 2 min later: This is the best thing out of a vending machine! Mike 5 min later: This is the best thing out of a vending machine! 🤣
Why do I feel like we are falling behind in the states. Most of our frozen dinners or food from vending machine is nothing like this. That ramen @8:59 has my mouth watering, and HTF did that come out of a vending machine. We need to step TF up with our vending machine game!!!
Is it weird that I thought the vending machine food would be ready to eat? I did not expect he had to take it back and cook it. lol Okay, 22 minutes in and it has the vending machines with cooked meals. Yay!
Forgot about the point to the jaw thing when something is even the tiniest bit crunchy and squeezing every last damn drop of juice out of everything lol. If you're feeling super brave, just take one every single time he makes that confusing "yummy" face that looks more like yucky. You'll be 10 toes up in no time, bud! if anything has to be chewed in the slightest, it isn't tender enough!
Hey Mikey! Hope all is well, and you and the family are doing great too. Love the video. I wish we had Japanese vending machines here in the states too!! Take care awesome upload!!😃
Oh, I'm sure it broke your heart to get two of those luscious cans of matcha green tea. *j/k* As usual, Japan has you covered for good eats on the cheap, it appears, and it proves that one wisenheimer who tried telling me on one of your other Japan videos that "JAPAN IS ONLY CHEAP IF YOU ARE A WEALTHY FOREIGNER," to be dead wrong. Maybe next time I go to Japan I need to land at Haneda so I can check out these machines for myself! (Were Haneda security looking at you funny as you went from machine to machine?)
he promised a better picture of her when it was "obtained", still nothing but crickets and he claimed it was his food hunting bestie for life. nothing the dude says is the truth, nothing.
you hit the nail on the head. and if you look closely in his videos, its all chew, immediately react(over react) and cut away pretty much every time. maybe only 10% of the time you see him actually swallow the food or drink. what this means is he has been a fraud from the get go.
Japan vending machine: cakes, drinks, desserts, rice balls, meat, bbq, toys American vending machine: chips and soda still stuck in my corner vending machine from 4 months ago. Yea fck this, I’m moving
Doggos need treats! Of course not an every day thing but I’ve made “dog food pizza” for my tiny doggo before. Small pack of wet food blend it with a lil bit of dry food. Top with a small treat. She was a happy doggo.
Having to take it all home and cook it all with various kitchen appliances doesn't exactly fit within the spirit of vending machine. More like unmanned convenience store.
Im sure everything is delicious but I also learned that there isn’t much Mikey doesn’t like, when he said the frozen Costco Ramen bowls were good. I tried them and I’ve never had something so completely bland and plastic I was so disappointed. Then I realized that there are people who are simply in love with eating in general and the eating experience more than the actual meal itself.
I had a curry bun bun that required to be microwaved then toasted but didn’t have an oven but had a toaster so I laid it on top once it popped up I did the same for the other side woohoo it worked 😂😂😂😂😂
I've seen videos of the machines before, but not to this extent -- it makes me wonder, though, when you said that one man had filled up a bag with the whipped cream cans, and then the machine with butter, etc. With this proliferation of machines, are the prices comparable or double or what, in comparison to grocery stores? Are supermarkets few and far between and thus the need for so many vending machines? (Which is an awesome idea -- here in Italy they have some "24/7" machines but there aren't that many and the quality of the products is seriously questionable AND they are generally double to triple the price...and most of the time products get stuck etc.)
Say I live in Tokyo and I have a friend in Okinawa I can grab them a souvenir from one of those vending machines as in Japan each airport will have different selections and regional food which you can take back from an in country flight to your home

that currybun place that has a vending machine for when the store is closed is such a great idea

He is a one trick pony, with pretty much the same words and phrases repeated over and over😂
Texture, umami, tasty, fatty, tender😂@@bhnthunder
@@bhnthunder He's not a food critic; he's a food enjoyer. You said "pretty much" twice in once sentence about him repeating phrases lol.
@@partymancer lol, "food enjoyer"! Copium is high with you brother😂
@@bhnthunder it was an obvious joke. Nice stealth edit though. You're not a professional commenter.
I always like to play your videos while eating. Makes me feel like I'm not eating alone.
Me too!!!
I do that too!!
Same :)
Been to Japan three times, every time I see him eating I just want to go back again.
ALL I DO IS NGUYEN NGUYEN NGUYEN, NO MATTER WHAT!
Going back for my third time next year to explore the northern region. Can't wait, if only for their delicious food haha

mike, do you still have your cabin with haunted barn?
I wonder 😮
I'm thinking he still does. His parents live in New York, so he'll probably visit and stay at his cabin
I have been wondering the same thing.
Dude I was just thinking about this holy hell. I remember when he first got that thing.
He never answers!
I wish the rest of the world would get on this vending machine game it would make life better for everyone ❤❤❤
Honestly me too. I'd love to just go to a vending machine and get a really tasty meal or treat.
Not in America sadly. They'd be broken into, stolen too possibly lol I would love to visit Japan for these vending macines!
So AMAZING!!! I want to go to Japan to eat in style from their vending machines. The variety is endless. Wow
Is it weird that I thought the vending machine food would be ready to eat? I did not expect he had to take it back and cook it. lol
Okay, 22 minutes in and it has the vending machines with cooked meals. Yay!
Your videos haven't come up on my youtube for a while! Glad to see you're still about!
My man could make a food dumpster diving video and still act like everything he eats is insanely delicious.
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Easy to say everything is insanely delicious when 99% of food in Japan is. We’re the ones in the bad end of the stick bc American food just sucks
@@Ohshitwaddup-p6c American food sucks? You're just romanticizing Japan too hard. He acts this way in his videos in America as well.
@@speedboy6776 yes American food sucks I would rather live in any other country for their food
I always thought those machine were wizardly and provided ready to eat meals! fun and informative video!
When Mikey starts rubbing those hands together you know it's good
I've watched this guy for years. I did he get smaller?
anyone else love eating while watching these videos lol
Vending machines for the WIN
thanks Mike for this video i quite enjoyed all the trips to those vending machines without breaking a sweat neither being soaked in the rain😅
mikey drinking game, take one shot for every "umami', "tender", and "phenomenal". And take 3 for "umami bomb"
Umami is the only flavor Mikey can taste. 😊
no thank you, i want to keep my liver functioning

Your videos are so comforting, idk how to explain it
I second this comment! ❤
I love Japanese vending machine eating videos
Hey Mikey! Hope all is well, and you and the family are doing great too. Love the video. I wish we had Japanese vending machines here in the states too!! Take care awesome upload!!😃
The curry bread looks like it might be sold at Good News Tokyo along with those butter no itoko wafers
i love this series of mukbangs. this and 7/11 series are top tier content. Always so cozy to sit back and watch a strictly dumpling vid.
Wooooo a dairy vending machine??? I'm sold!!

Damn they eat better out of vending machines than we eat ay home in the USA !
mike you could have toasted the curry bread on the pan 😭
Truly an amazing video!! I would love to go to Tokyo one day!
everything looked so good
We have had Sakuraco for a year now and it is always filled with excellent flavours
I ate before watching the video to avoid any cravings... TOTALLY FAILED I'm hungry again! 😂
I am native but my grand-ma used to make a partridge and hare stew that look’s a lot like that but with dough dumplings or white salted beans... ❤
Something i learnt from matcha samurai is that you don’t need to finish ramen soup if its too salty 😊
Mikey, you should put some bandaids over those head lights of yours. You can cut glass with those bad boys! 😂
Get your mind out of the gutter. You're here for the food!
His eyes are up there ⬆️
I don’t get it. Huh what you talking about??
bro legit needs pasties (and not the food kind!)

Shout out to EricSurf6. Great channel. He really knows vending machines in Japan.
That curry bread looks amazing, I would really like to try it ✨
If we had vending machines like this those prices would most likely be outrageous! Its not fair at all.
The little curry poop made me crack up 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
i was gonna get sakuraco before i realized a month box is 37.50$ 😞
28:12 sounds like you are talking about Ryoga fighting with Ranma for that bread :)
America needs this
mike waiting on story time about you getting married

Wish we had this type of vending machines where i live
DEE-LUUUIII-SHHUSS
Found the Butter no itoko cookies online. that and a choco one I think. Ordering these asap
Hmmm….wonder what the nutritive value is 🤔 But hey!! As long as it tastes good and it’s bloody cheap! Saves grocery shopping👍🏻
Mike!!!!! Your the best bro!!!!
the cream dessert was crazy viral
So amazing

I always fly into Haneda, but international. I never knew these vending machines existed in the domestic terminal. Treats for the ride into downtown!
Fun fact Mike doesn't know: curry bun is good because it's deep fried
the 'neopolitan' is killing me lol :P its 'neapolitan'
Japan is so ahead of the USA
Yes even after the bombs from USA.
Me eating an uncrustable watching this:

I don’t understand the point of vending machines for food you have to cook or need a microwave if not available as after purchase you can’t consume.
