  • I visited the largest vending machine shop in Japan, where there were over 100 different vending machines offering everything from ramen and hamburgers to curry, drinks, toys, umbrellas, and even masks, etc.
This kind of experience is probably unique to this location and cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

@@mistermiagi9984well, you gotta understand what the ancient Japanese went through for this to happen. Japan has more natural disasters than any place on Earth, between typhoons, and tsunamis, earthquakes, and volcanos. In the north they have terrible blizzards, and some parts even experience tornados. They way they survived in their little tribes and clans was through an intense sense of community and teamwork. Greed and selfishness would get you exiled or expelled from the group. And it's carried through to this day. Makes me certain that if we started treating greed as a mental illness, we could clean up this world.

But Japan, more than most other places, has a keen sense of holistic community that preserves the whole for the sake of everyone instead of the individual. Much like enjoying a park AND picking up your trash while you're there, you can do that alone or with others; it's important either way.

Here in the U.S., that area would have garbage and litter everywhere, yet in this video of Japan, it is kept clean by all visitors, and you even picked up the popcorn instead of sweeping it into the dirt or just leaving it where it dropped. Such class and respect from all, it is nice to see. The vending machines are a very fun passion project for the owner, and it's wonderful that you all get to enjoy the nostalgia of the older machines. I'm disabled and was supposed to be in Japan this Christmas. Due to health issues my trip has been delayed until next Christmas, fingers crossed 🤞 I hope you can experience Japan some day yourself, I know it's something I've wanted to do for so long. Then I plan on eating my way through China! 😂

I watch quite a few Japanese content creators and this is the most popular vending machine place I've seen. I really enjoy everyone's take on it.
My Son and I were supposed to visit Japan this Christmas but due to health issues we've had to put it off for now. Hopefully we'll be in Japan for Christmas next year and will be ringing in 2024 in Fukuoka as we had planned.
On our list of places to visit is this vending machine heaven!

I lived in Japan for 3 years as part of getting my degree, and I love vending machine culture. I miss all the vending machines, and I love this place so many cute old time vending machines it made me happy to see them 😊❤ How did you skip buying the vending machine history book from the vending machine?! 😆 I totally would have bought that 😂💯 That udon was really impressive coming from a vending machine 😮 The hamburger machine filled me with joy ☺️ I love the retro nixie tube countdown counters too. Now I wonder what barbecue popcorn tastes like.. I love this channel so much ❤

As an American I am accustomed to people spending a lot of time in front of the camera in their videos with a great deal of talking. Oddly enough, I feel like it can be more intimate and personal when I can enjoy the ambient sounds and read the thoughts of the youtuber while they film instead of speaking aloud. I love Japan very much and it makes me feel nostalgic to see Japanese vending machines again. I hope this tire shop gets great business so that this special place can be preserved forever!

There had been a vicious case of a young man who broke vending machine button here in a mischievous act.
Sadly, nowhere sells the button-parts for the vending machine any more due to quite old vintage vending machine,
and it was thought to be hopeless to restoration.
However, neighbor local company, upon hear the news, donates completely recreate button,
""even down to the yellowing from age"".
such type of vending machine is quite-nostalgic and evokes lost days memory for the representative of the company
who was in charge of the restoration and restored the vending machines as free
with the intention of cheering up those who were saddened to see them destroyed and no longer functioning.
